China's advanced technological image, exemplified by robot toys with firmware updates, contrasts sharply with the reality of rural China, where farmers use banned chemicals due to economic pressures, and infrastructure like roads deteriorates quickly outside major cities, revealing that technological sophistication in urban areas does not reflect conditions across the entire country.

China's Dancing Robots Keep Falling Over!Añadido:
As you know, Chinese robot toys are constantly used as an example as to why China is living in the future, cuz they have remote controlled robot toys.
>> So, let's uh let's have a little check in and see what they're doing these days. We got a dancing one this time.
>> Oh, recovery.
>> [ __ ] you.
>> He died. He didn't do very well. Oh my god, I've never seen anything like this before. God, this is amazing.
So, what they've got is they've got a new >> He's vulgar.
>> He is. They've got a new Michael Jackson um dancing routine that's being programmed. You see that? Like >> the movie, right?
>> Yeah. Yeah, probably. But you know what they do is they give firmware updates.
So, if you own one of these, they send like, "Okay, now it'll do like a little ballerina >> bit, you know, and so then you press the button combination after you've updated the firmware >> down a start and it's like now he'll do like a pyouette."
>> Yeah. And then, yeah, do a pirouette and then kick a child and fall over. Then they're like, "Okay, Michael Jackson's hot right now, so let's have a little Michael Jackson routine." So, whenever you see these toys doing their things, don't be too impressed. It's literally like a routine that's being programmed in. It's just like any old remote control toy, you know, from back in the ' 70s. It's like using logo to say go left, right. You know that little turtle thing that you learned in the computer class in the 80s and '9s.
>> Logo logo writer.
>> Yeah, that type of thing. You know, oh, left, right, up, down. That's what they do. So, it just does that. And if it comes across an obstacle, it just brute forces it way through it.
>> For sure.
>> What's next?
So sad.
>> Yeah.
>> Yes.
>> So mad.
>> Yeah, they are. Well, yeah. I would be too if I had >> I mean, China's got robotic delivery vehicles, but look where they love that people think that China has these like Oh my god, I've Never seen anything like this before. God, this is amazing.
>> It really is.
>> Is that me? It's like eat a banana.
That's what he's saying. Yeah. I mean, here's the thing, though. Um, whenever you see propaganda or you see travels go to China, they show you the nice parts.
It's pretty easy to do because there are nice parts of China. There are nice roads in China. You know, they they're very new. They won't be nice for very long. They'll maybe just build a new one. In fact, they did that just before the Trump visit. roads that have been messed up for like years, they just quickly made them new. And um having >> for some sink holes.
>> Exactly. Having traveled around China as much as we have on motorcycles through the best cities and the most rural parts and everything in between, we can tell you that the majority of China's roads when you get out of the big cities are really rough.
>> The majority of China is very poor.
Yeah, >> you'd be shocked. But, you know, they've got these mega cities that people when they fly into China, they kind of stay in the mega cities and then they take a sorry, a highspeed rail from one mega city to a curated tourist spot. They don't really get to see the in between.
You know, there's been a huge food scandal. Okay. Um, and it's surrounding fruit. Yeah. But this has got to do with it as well.
>> So, somebody dropped a >> a piece of beef jerky.
>> Okay. A kid snack, by the way. It's what kids eat.
>> Dropped it on the floor. The ants came to eat it and the ants all died.
>> Yes.
>> Okay. So, that >> it gives you an idea of how deadly this stuff is. If the ants even die. This is the the beef jerky. It says like um air dried or whatever.
>> Didn't they say Gun? Bro, >> did it say Gun?
>> Yeah.
>> Hang on. Let me go back.
>> Let me go back.
>> You are 100% correct. Sorry.
>> Not beef jerky. Chicken jerky. Whatever that is. My bad.
>> Air dried chicken.
>> Yeah, I was looking at the airdried part. Yeah, sorry. Chicken jerky, >> which >> uh let's be honest. Like, is that even a thing?
>> I don't think so. I mean, probably.
>> It is in China. It's chicken in a bag, basically.
>> Chicken in a bag.
>> So, um >> So, the ants died.
>> The ants died. Now, >> rest in peace.
>> These are two separate clips here of two different incidents. Okay. The one on the left, you can see the tea leaves.
All right.
uh some tourists went to a very famous tea plantation and as we all know China is very famous for tea. Tea was invented in China. Um >> you know the you know the story behind it obviously for those of you who don't know the story behind it long time ago some emperor realized that if you boil water people weren't dying as much.
>> What the heck is this magic?
>> Yeah it's like if you boil it we live.
So they used to have these big cauldrons and they boil, you know, the water and then everybody could drink it and some leaves fell into one of these cauldrons cuz they obviously didn't care about birds taking a turd or whatever in this water anyway. They're like, "It's magic.
Nothing will happen anyway." So these leaves fell in and then apparently they're like, "This tastes good. Let's do this." You know, that's the legend.
Whether it's true or not, who knows?
>> Probably somewhat.
>> Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is. Uh so anyway, we all know that tea is very famous from China and you get these very famous uh tea plantations and people go on tourists uh like trips and you can go there and like pick the tea leaves and you know it's this whole touristic thing. Some of them did this >> and um they found as you can see I'm not talking about this one. This is separate >> but it's the same scandal.
>> It's the same idea. Yeah.
>> You look over there they find growth hormones all kinds of chemicals, right? You got nong yao, you got all the bad stuff.
>> That's one thing that we saw a lot uh when we went into the to the rural countryside of China is you you're in the middle of nowhere and there's whatever crop that they're growing over there, you see the farmers out there spraying them with industrial chemicals and you find the empty bottles that have skull and crossbones like poison warnings.
>> Well, we found ones that were banned in China. Yes.
>> Even China, the government bans them.
They're using them at like crazy amounts. And listen, it's understandable in China, the rural farmers, they have such a small amount of margin, profit margin. They cannot afford for their crops to not grow.
>> No.
>> Right. They're not going to be natural about it. They're going to pump it with every chemical, every hormone.
>> Every animal is going to get every hormone.
>> They do it just so that the the crops actually produce because they're making like nothing anyway. So, if they didn't produce, they would make nothing.
>> Yeah. I mean, you have to feel for them.
>> Yeah. So they do it and there there's no amount of regulation or no amount of banned chemicals that will stop them from doing it. They will always do it.
They have to do it. It's like by default.
>> It's the worst when the you know you go to these like kind of touristy locations where they're like you're like wow Chinese tea is so expensive and and fragrant and there it's so natural and stuff and you still find out they're doing the worst possible things across.
>> Yes. And so this other one over here is uh at some kind of organic um you know or whatever the case.
>> And just look at the mountains.
>> Mountains.
>> Yes.
>> I mean China is the least organic place ever.
>> People like to talk about America and say, "Oh, the food additives, all this kind of stuff. We're eating junk." You don't know what it's like.
>> Yeah. Here's the thing. If you're not told about it, if you don't have these FDAs and whatever that actually examine, >> then it's just up to your imagination.
So if you've got some imagine some rickety old like wise looking Chinese man comes down from the hill and he's like this tea is pure and whatever thousands of years of history and so on and you're like yes that's amazing so much better than our GMO whatever in America meanwhile it's the most toxic thing you've ever consumed >> and then you see everyone around there's got cancer and is dying >> and you're like oh but the GMOs right it's it's just all that village >> uh that was famous for their pure water.
>> Yes.
>> And they make tofu out of it and they export it, I think, internationally.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> And everyone, they're so famous in China's like, "We're so proud of this tofu. It's so pure." And we talked to the people in the village and everyone's like, "We're literally dying. Everyone has cancer here."
>> And then the guy the guy with his like all weird looking went and showed us where the trash >> people are dying.
>> The festering trash is leeching into the well where they get this pure water.
Yeah. Uh it's just the way China is.
Uh we're going to be talking about these crazy situations where uh Chinese nationalists and big bosses of Chinese companies, they're kind of self-own.
>> Yeah.
>> I wouldn't go to America, that cursed place, even if you paid me and questioned who'd want to live in a rotten crimeridden place like America.
>> And he was there celebrating in America.
Do you know why? Cuz he lives there.
>> Yes, he lives in America. His whole family lives in America. He owns multiple properties in America.
>> Boss, pause.
>> They literally said when I bought it, do you want us for an extra fee to put the Toyota badges on for you?
>> Say, how many Chinese people moved to the US?
>> Millions.
>> Yeah.
>> Tens of thousands a month potentially sometimes, right?
>> How many Americans moved to China to become Chinese?
>> Yeah. Zero.
Hey, hey, hey.
