[00:00:42]>> Yes, I still won it. I feel like uh I have 15 years old.

[00:00:47]>> Yeah. Uh so what do you think about your opponent Christian Beleely? Why did you choose him? You could have fought anybody you wanted to.

[00:00:53]>> Oh, he's a champion. He's a champion and he's a a danger fighter. He he throw a lot of punches. He's strong and I like that kind of fights.

[00:01:03]>> Is it more satisfying for you to face someone who's going to come right at you as opposed to someone who's going to constantly be moving?

[00:01:09]>> Oh, I love it. I love it.

[00:01:11]>> Yeah. All right. And Billy, um Canelo in his 68 pro fight when he makes the walk for your fight, he'll be 36 years old.

[00:01:18]How much of a factor do you think that will play in this matchup?

[00:01:24]>> Well, I don't care about the age. Uh the factor is my ability to box and his ability and I think it's a perfect timing timing for me.

[00:01:34]>> Tell us why you believe not only that you belong in the ring with Canelo but that you can beat Canelo.

[00:01:40]>> I think I have a good style to beat Canelo because we I I I am amazing. I'm amazing fighter.

[00:01:48]Uh I have good power, good good um good speed. I have all ability to beat to to to beat Canelo and win this fight.

[00:02:00]>> So, what will your strategy be in this fight?

[00:02:03]>> I I will not change anything, you know.

[00:02:05]Uh I will keep my style, throw punch, uh put pressure, and we're going to see if he can he can deal with this, you know.

[00:02:14]>> What did you think about Canelo's performance against Terence Crawford?

[00:02:18]>> It was a good fight. Uh, you know, I'm I'm not a big fan of uh running boxer or but it was a good performance for Crawford.

[00:03:21]Styles make fights. You've gone eight fights in a row without a KO. Is a ninth straight decision fine with you or are you determined to get back on a knockout streak?

[00:03:30]>> No, I just I just train and I do my best in the gym and I go to the into the fight to try to knock out my opponent, but uh uh at the same time, I'm I'm ready for everything. And Billy says he views this as a 5050 fight. What percentage chance do you give him to beat you in this fight?

[00:03:50]>> Zero.

[00:03:52]>> Why do you say zero? Nothing he does impresses you?

[00:03:55]>> No, he's a good fighter. He's a good fighter, but uh my mind is 0%.

[00:04:00]>> And you said yesterday something that in 10 years, 20 years, he could never beat you. What makes you so confident about that?

[00:04:07]>> No, like he say it's the perfect time because I'm old and this and that. I say I say to him, you know, if I have 50 years old, you can you can still not beat me. So and and and this life, he cannot beat me.

Both are two of the most exciting fighters in the sport and they're going to clash on September the 12th. a very important day for boxing and yes a very important day for Saul Canelo Alvarez and he knows that >> and this is going to be a smashing main event. We got a exciting undercard that we're working on which I can't divulge the details yet until contracts are signed. Uh the main event is signed the return of the face of boxing. So Saul Canelo Alvarez and you have to commend Camel uh you have to commend Canelo for taking this fight. Uh by the time he steps in the ring he'll be a year out.
