CUTTING MY OWN HAIR

[00:00:00]Hello guys, welcome back to my channel.

[00:00:02]It has been a minute since I have posted on here um since having my son. He is actually nine months today. And yeah, I just wanted to make a YouTube video. Um I've been like kind of busting out all my old pregnancy videos on YouTube um to like I guess get back into the rhythm and you know get back on track. But today we're going to do a little something different. So, my hair has been just crazy long. Um, look how long it is.

[00:00:36]It's like right underneath my boob, almost to like my belly button. But I colored it. That's why it's a little bit lighter than um it was before. I did a little bit of like a chocolate brown, but I went to cut my hair just to do something new. And usually I go to a salon, but I'm going to do it myself um because I can do that. And we are going a little bit above the armpit.

[00:01:09]And then I'm going to give myself some curtain bangs. Go back to the curtain bangs that I once had. So yeah, let's see how this turns out. Um I actually had an appointment scheduled at a salon to do it, but then I was like, I'm going to do it myself. I've done it before um during co and it turned out pretty nice.

[00:01:31]I literally just want to cut and then I'm going to add some layers in the front. So fingers crossed it goes well. Also disclaimer because I know people are going to go crazy about the way I'm going to cut my hair and I am not a professional and I know hair artists are going to be hair stylists are going to be like what the f is going on. So, I'm going to tie my hair in a ponytail. This is what I did back during co is tie both sides in a ponytail and then I cut it.

[00:02:12]That's a lot of hair. Um, but that's okay.

[00:02:15]Got my scissors.

[00:02:19]Make sure my hair is my head's straight.

[00:02:23]And I'm going to cut This is This is wild.

[00:02:35]I just decided literally like 5 minutes ago that I was going to cut my hair.

[00:02:42]Look at all that hair, guys. Holy crap.

[00:02:46]My husband's going to be like, "What the heck did you just do?"

[00:02:52]This is wild, guys. Oh my god. have short hair. Haven't had short hair like this in a while.

[00:02:59]The second bundle. Look at all this hair. Okay, there's hair everywhere. Okay, so this is Okay. Okay, not bad. So, now we just got to do a little bit of a little bit of fixing. Honestly, it probably looks really freaking crazy in the back. Um, I love how I'm like talking about this.

[00:03:29]Okay. Okay. I'm cutting my bangs right now. So, I just pulled out the pieces of hair that I want to be the bangs and I'm going to bring it forward and here because I don't want it too too much.

[00:03:59]Um, okay. So, I am having trouble doing the layers, but the bangs I love cuz I've done my bangs before. Um, but the ponytail actual hair is rough looking. So, um, I need to go get a cut. Let's see if I can figure this out. I'll let you guys know.

[00:04:26]All right, guys. This is what the haircut looks like after I did it. Um, it doesn't look too bad. My bangs I I usually cut my bangs by myself anyways.

[00:04:37]But, um, the OCD, you can tell that this side is shorter than this side, and we need to get that fixed. The long layers that I tried to do on my hair did not work. Um, and I was trying to surprise my husband because it is a very drastic change with like my super long hair.

[00:04:51]I've had that long hair for like a really long time and I haven't had short hair in a while. So, I was trying to surprise him and I was rushing to Ulta Beauty um just now and called them and I was like, "Can you guys get me in?" But they couldn't get me in until 5:00 and right now it's about to be 4:00 and my husband and Beckham will be home um by 5. So, I was trying to rush to get it done before they got home so I could surprise them, but my hair has to wait until tomorrow. So, I have an appointment at 11:00. And yeah, they're going to fix me up here, but I do want to surprise him. So, I'm going to keep my hair in a bun for tonight. Um, he won't notice. So, I'll let you guys know um what happens tomorrow. All right, I am home and this is what the final cut looks like. She did such a good job.

[00:05:46]Went for um long layers and then like curtain bangs right here. Some long layers as well. The color that Well, I colored it, but the color actually looks pretty nice, too. Um I colored my hair a couple of months ago. I probably should do it again cuz my roots are like so bad. But she said I didn't do a bad job.

[00:06:12]Um, which was really really nice cuz I feel like it was looking all crazy. But yeah, what do we think? All right, guys.

[00:06:20]I'm going to end this vlog. Renie and I are actually going to go to PetSmart because she needs to get some um stuff there. But yeah, um I hope you guys enjoyed watching this crazy chaotic video and I'll see you guys in the next one.
