What is the mantra of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi that makes him an X-factor? Dhruv Jurel revealsAjouté :
What do you do when Vebo Survanchi dazzles you with his breathtaking hitting? Sixes after sixes after sixes, any length you bowl, he just demolishes you. Verb Survivanchi at this point in time really is demolishing opponents and bowlers and is scarring them in ways no one can ever imagine. But what is the mantra? How does Survanchi go about it?
Coming in the post-match press conference, Dhuv Jurel gave this particular thing. He gave an insight into Web of Suryawanchi's working and in that he mentioned this fiveword thing.
Five words that sum up where Survivanchi's attitude when you have to look at targeting bowlers.
He just mentions these words.
His mantra is I don't want to give a damn. That's it.
I don't want to give a damn. That's six words but it's okay. About any bowler.
Look at the way how his mantra is. I don't give a damn about any bowler.
This is the brilliance that Suryanji has. He has just no fear. He's not intimidated by any of the bowlers that come up to him at this stage. Look at the way how he's targeted Australia's top bowlers. Look at the way how he's targeted India's top bowlers. Look at the way how he's targeting every single entity in the IPL, which is why 65 sixes, 680 runs.
Truly remarkable for a guy who is yet to set foot in the Indian cricket team. It is only a matter of when. If not how then do jurel mentions the best thing that voyuranchi does he says I have noticed he is that he doesn't even plan anything there is no method to his planning he just says okay I have got something in front of me I quickly think and then I go after it he doesn't have set plans if it's there to be hit he'll hit it if it's not there to be it. He'll either defend it or he'll just push it for a single. 92 runs came only in fours and sixes. He barely runs. Five runs. That's it. Five runs only he ran in the entire innings. Hardly any twos, hardly any threes, singles.
So he doesn't plan anything. And the other part is he backs himself. Du jurel mentions that vehi backs himself. He doesn't even have a shadow of doubt that I'm not able to do it. There is no doubts in the guy at 15 years. He just doesn't have any form of clearing. He just doesn't have any form of doubts. He says, "I am just going to go for it. Any bowler who comes in my way, if the length is there, I will whack it. If it's in the power play, I will clear the infield very very effortlessly." And look at it in the power play be in any stage his strike rate is near 300. He hits on an average four sixes per game.
That is the brilliance of Webos Suryanchi at this stage. And basically the mantra that is taught to young upcoming cricketers when they go to an academy they say Dhurel mentions his own days when he was going into the academy and what was the thought process that was there. He says, "When we go to an academy, we are told, don't watch the bowler, watch the ball." As 17 year olds, we always watch the bowler and think he's a big name. But really, he just watches the ball. That's all. If I don't, if I'm not overroared by the reputation that Stark, Cummins, Hazelwood has, and I only watch the ball, the singular Arjun-minded focus on the ball, that's it.
My job is done. I just don't look at who the bowler is. I just whack him. It can happen even to a kagisurada. It can happen to a siraj. It can happen to a prasid. It can it happened with a jasprit bumra also.
So where wasi clear indication he doesn't bother about the reputation of the bowler. He just bothers about where the ball is and how it should be hit.
I don't give a damn. Understand the philosophy of new age India in this way.
And whereas Surywanchi sums up new age India where everybody plays with no fear. This no fear approach is what has now helped us into a golden period of dominance. 2024 we won the T20 World Cup. 2025 we won the Champions Trophy.
2025 won the women's ODI World Cup. We won the 2026 119 World Cup. We also won the World T20 for the third time.
Where was Suryanchi now is an epidm of the fact that okay it's only a matter of when is he getting into the Indian cricket team in the T20 is all but certain maybe for the Zimbabwe or the Ireland series he will make it but then he's also playing the uh a tour that is there in Sri Lanka that's where all eyes will be on but so far in IPL 2026 he's done it he has ensured that all the attention is on him the tougher tests will come much later thank Thank you so much folks for joining us for this video.
