You're a pretty likable person. You're kind, empathetic, and humble. That's abuse and drama throughout my life. What changed like as far as leaving Christianity? I assume once we are tired of trying solutions, we start turning believer to start having or start having faith.

You know, people die of aneurysms, people die of natural disasters, you know, just people get cancer, just terrible things just happen and life can very easily seem scary and out of control. So, it is very very nice having this idea of, oh, it's fine because this God creator of the universe loves me and has everything under control. So even if everything's going to [ __ ] and even till your dying breath, you know, you can find comfort.

Floods are you know something that happen pretty regularly. Um and especially a lot of these stories the Bible I like to say at best is a work of historical fiction. And what that means it's kind of like Abraham Lincoln vampire slaver slayer. Uh Abraham Lincoln existed you know the movie goes over events of his life. people he knew, but then he's also fighting vampires. So like there's a fictional element overlapped and a lot of these stories of this great flood kind of evolved and more got fantasized over time into some huge global flood.

[00:51:11]The people in this time who are writing these stories didn't even know what the world was. They were only aware of a very small portion of the world. But when you're looking around and everything is underwater, you're, you know, you and everyone in your town are hiding on the rooftops, you know, hundreds, thousands of people are dying.

So, you know, it it can easily that combined with just our natural inkling inkling to make stories more fanciful as we go on kind of evolved into this more specific great flood story. Um, which you know, the Bible's not the only one that has that story.

Or somebody says, "This thing happened here and there or or some somewhere off yonder.
