Effective AI advisory requires building a living, evolving understanding of the user's decision patterns, values, and behavioral tendencies through continuous conversation, rather than providing generic responses; this contextual approach enables the AI to adapt its advisory style (counsel, challenge, mirror, strategic, or somatic) based on what it has learned about the individual, creating a more personalized and meaningful advisory relationship.

Next-generation advisory agent that creates a living, evolving relationship between humans and AIAdded:
This is the wisdom bond, a next generation advisory agent that creates a living, evolving relationship between the human and the AI. It was built with Claude Opus 4.6 and is free and open source. We have all had the experience of asking an AI for advice. And the advice is fine. It is coherent. It is reasonable, but it does not feel like it was meant for you. It could have been written for anyone because it was. This slide asks a question that most people have not considered. What would it look like if an AI did not just answer your question, but actually understood the person asking it, not your search history, not your job title, the deeper stuff, the patterns and how you think through hard decisions, the values you keep returning to, the blind spots you do not see. That is what the wisdom bond was built to do. And over the next few minutes, I want to show you how it works and why it represents something genuinely new.
Think about the best adviser you have ever had. Maybe it was a mentor, maybe a colleague, maybe a therapist or a coach, the person who gave you the best counsel in your life. They probably were not the most brilliant person you knew. What made them different was that they had been paying attention. They remembered what you said last time. They noticed when your words and your actions pointed in different directions. They knew when to push you and when to just let you sit with something uncomfortable. They earned the right to say hard things, not because they were smarter than you, but because they had done the work of understanding who you are. That is what real advisory looks like and that is the experience the wisdom bond was designed to create.
The wisdom bond is powered by three systems working together. the context portrait which builds a real-time understanding of who you are. The visual bond map which renders that understanding into a living diagram you can see and adaptive council which calibrates the AI's approach based on everything it has learned about you. Let me walk through each one. The first system is the context portrait. Every time you share a situation with the wisdom bond, the agent does not just respond. It also analyzes what your message reveals about you as a decision maker. It tracks four decision traits.
Analytical, your preference for logic and data. Intuitive, your reliance on gut feeling and instinct. Risk open, your willingness to step into uncertainty. People first, your tendency to prioritize relationships and others needs. These are scored on a scale of 0 to 10 and they shift as new evidence appears across multiple exchanges. It also extracts values from your language.
Words like integrity, freedom, autonomy, security, growth. These accumulate in a values cloud and it logs behavioral patterns, recurring tendencies, growth edges, tensions, and moments of self-awareness. This is not stored in a database. It lives in the conversation itself and gets richer with every exchange. The key insight here is that the portrait is emergent. You do not fill out a questionnaire. The agent discovers who you are by listening. The second system is the visual bond map.
This is the right side panel in the application. Everything the context portrait learns about you gets rendered here in real time. At the top is the constellation canvas. This is a circular diagram where your four decision traits are represented as nodes that radiate outward from center as they strengthen.
Your values orbit the constellation based on how frequently they appear.
Connection lines form between strong traits and the center. Over the course of a session, this becomes a visual fingerprint of how you make decisions.
Below the constellation is the bond strength ring, a composite metric from 0 to 100%. It moves through five name stages, beginning, forming, deepening, connected, and attuned. Think of it as a measure of how well the agent knows you.
Then you have the decision traits as four horizontal bar charts and the pattern journal, which is a color-coded log of every observation the agent has made about your behavior. Patterns are amber, growth edges are green, tensions are terracotta, reflections are blue.
The point of all of this is that you can see yourself reflected back. Most AI tools are a black box. The wisdom bond shows you what it sees. The third system is adaptive counsel. The wisdom bond offers five distinct advisory modes and you can switch between them at any time.
But these are not just personas. Each mode receives the full context portrait.
So every mode knows what the agent has already learned about you. Council is the default. It gives you balanced, warm, direct perspective. It offers alternative viewpoints and closes with a clarifying question. You would use this when you want to think something through with someone who understands your patterns. Challenge exists to push back.
It states the strongest case against your inclination, names the assumptions that could be wrong, and describes the realistic worst case. You would use this when you suspect you are rationalizing.
Mirror is not about solving the problem.
It reflects back what your words reveal about what you truly want. It names the emotions underneath the surface question. You would use this when you feel stuck and suspect the issue is not the situation, but something inside you.
Strategic thinks in systems, incentives, and leverage. It identifies the real decision at stake, maps trade-offs, and offers the move with the most optionality. You would use this for career decisions, negotiations, or organizational dynamics. Somatic is the most unusual mode. It asks you to check in with your body and your instincts. It helps you distinguish between fear-based resistance and wisdom based resistance.
You would use this when you have analyzed everything and still feel uncertain. The agent does not just switch between personas. It calibrates its approach based on what it is learning about you. Everything you just saw was designed and built by an AI. Let me tell you what that means.
The wisdom bond was conceived, designed, and coded entirely by Claude Opus 4.6, the most advanced model in Anthropic Claude family. Every line of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, every system prompt that powers the five advisory modes. Every design decision from the color palette to the constellation visualization. All of it was written by the AI. The architecture is a single HTML file. No server, no build step, no frameworks.
You open it in a browser and it runs.
This is deliberate. The distribution model is zero friction. Send someone a file or a link. They open it and they are using it. The system design uses structured output parsing. Every response from Claude includes a hidden data block that contains the updated trait scores, newly surfaced values and pattern observations. That block gets parsed and stripped before the user sees the response. The user sees council. The bond map sees structured analysis. Both come from the same response. The prompt engineering is where the real craftsmanship lives. Five distinct system prompts calibrate the AI's advisory approach. Each one receives the full context portrait, which means the AI's understanding of you compounds across every exchange, regardless of which mode you are in. The cycle is simple. You share a situation. Claude responds with advisory council plus a structured bond data block. The application parses that block, extracts the trade scores, values, and patterns, updates the bond map, and strips the data before displaying the response. The user never sees the analysis. They see a thoughtful response and they see the bond map evolving. The connection between the two is invisible and seamless. The technology stack is intentionally minimal. The runtime is browser native. No nodejs, no server.
The API is the anthropic messages endpoint calling claude sonnet. The visualization uses the canvas 2D API and the entire application ships as a single HTML file with zero dependencies. This matters because it means anyone can use it. There is nothing to install, nothing to configure, nothing to maintain. Open a file, enter an API key, begin. Now, I want to give you a concrete step-by-step guide to using the wisdom bond. This covers getting started, what to expect in your first session, and how to deepen the bond over time. Step one, get your API key. Go to console.anthropic.com/s/keys and create a new key. Copy it. You will need it in a moment. Step two, open the file. The wisdom bond is a single HTML file. Open it in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. No installation required. Step three, enter your name.
The agent will use this to address you personally throughout the conversation.
It changes the tone of every response.
Step four, paste your API key. This key is stored only in your browser tabs memory. It is never written to disk, never sent anywhere except directly to the anthropic API and it disappears when you close the tab. Step five, click begin the bond. You will see four starter prompts on the welcome screen or you can type your own situation and that is it. You are in the first three exchanges are where the bond begins to form. Here is what to expect. Exchange one, share a real situation with real stakes. Do not test it with a hypothetical. Give it something you are actually sitting with. The more specific you are, the more the agent has to work with. After this first response, look at the bond map. You will see your first trait scores and values appear. Exchange two, go deeper on the same topic or introduce a related dilemma. The agent will begin to reference what it learned in the first exchange. You will notice it saying things like based on what you shared earlier or I notice a pattern here, the decision trait bars will start to move. Exchange three, try switching modes. If you started in council, switch to challenge and bring up the same situation. The challenger will push back on your thinking, but it will do so with full awareness of everything the agent has already learned about you. That is the adaptive part. The mode changes. The understanding carries forward. The first three exchanges are where the bond begins to form. The wisdom bond becomes more useful the more you bring to it.
Here are the practices that make the biggest difference. Be specific, not abstract. My manager offered me a role that would double my team but move me away from the work I love. Gives the agent a rich situation to engage with. I have a career decision gives it almost nothing. Specificity is the fuel. Share the stakes. Tell the agent what you stand to gain and what you stand to lose. Tell it who else is affected. Tell it what scares you about the decision.
The agent is looking for signals about your values and your emotional landscape. The more you share, the more accurate the portrait becomes. Use multiple modes on the same situation.
This is the most powerful technique.
Start in counsel to get perspective.
Switch to challenge to stress test your thinking. Then try mirror to see what the situation reveals about you as a person. Same dilemma, three completely different angles, all informed by the same growing understanding of who you are. Watch the bond map. This is easy to overlook, but it is often the most valuable part of the experience. Pay attention to which traits are strongest and which values keep appearing. The agents observations about your patterns are sometimes more useful than the advice itself. Return to themes. If a dilemma keeps coming back, bring it up again. Re-engaging with recurring themes builds the bond quickly. Open the wisdom bond HTML in your browser or visit the GitHub pages link. Share what you are sitting with. Watch the bond come alive.
This tool is free. It is open source. It runs entirely in your browser. Nobody sees your conversations. Nobody stores your data. The bond exists only between you and the agent. Only in that moment, only for as long as the tab is open.
What we built is not a better chatbot.
It is not a fancier persona selector. It is the beginning of what advisory AI should feel like. Personal, adaptive, and earned through the work of understanding who you are. The experience should feel less like consulting a tool and more like sitting across from someone who has been paying attention.
