System Shock Remake With Full Immersion and Physics!

[00:01:34]Welcome to the channel. Welcome to a brand new exclusive video of a brand new mod for System Shock Remake, the 2023 version. Now, I'm just giving this a road test for a mod called Gweezdeck from the Flatscreen to VR Discord channel.

[00:01:57]He's given me the privilege of testing this out. And I must say, so far, I've only played 10 minutes, this is absolutely awesome. Stick with us and you'll see why.

[00:02:17]>> [music] [music] >> So, I'm in the in the game injected into VR. Now, when this is officially released, I will do a setup guide. But Guis Deck was kind enough to give me a new game plus save, which has got access to all the weapons, as you can see here.

[00:02:44]So, I just want to show you some of the stuff that you can do in this. So far, I'm more than impressed. So, first of all, we've got full VR hands, a full VR body. Now, you have to play standing up at the moment. So, it does make it feel like a proper VR game. So, the only way you can crouch is by physically crouching. And as you might notice, I've got a little laser pointer just attached there to the end of me finger.

[00:03:11]It's great for like, you know, you spot someone in the crowd and you can just point it at the Well, maybe not that. That's a bit childish.

[00:03:22]Push the button.

[00:03:25]And uh can we push this button as well?

[00:03:28]We can. In we pop. We're in.

[00:03:33]Did I mention I'm claustrophobic?

[00:03:39]Well, I'm not claustrophobic, really.

[00:03:44]Literally, with your hands, you reach out and touch it. And you've got all your map on your wrist just here as well.

[00:03:53]So, you can see all this.

[00:03:56]Okay, so lights. You've got a weapon, it'll come out on your weapon.

[00:04:01]And then you just get your left grip, or your left hand, hold the left grip over your head, and press grip, and the light follows your weapon. Outstanding.

[00:04:15]And if Ooh. If you reach over your shoulder, you've got your gun and say sayonara to your shoulder.

[00:04:24]What? So, I've managed to get I've got a melee weapon, as well. It's quite noisy.

[00:04:33]So, we can basically swing and uh bash things.

[00:04:42]Well, the audio is not in Okay, [snorts] maybe it is.

[00:04:50]Ooh. Take it away, love.

[00:05:02]Head bruise. So, this is on another level, isn't it, really?

[00:05:07]And just randomly pick this up. Now, I can stick it in my inventory over my shoulder or just throw it.

[00:05:15]But, you literally walk up and you can pick these things up.

[00:05:20]You see any item around here that's uh Go back in the armory.

[00:05:27]Oh, there's a an item here. So, if I can interact with him, pick it up, I can pick it up.

[00:05:32]Look at that, man. Just skim it across the room.

[00:05:35]This is amazing. Absolutely amazing.

[00:05:38]Now, it is still a work in progress, so there are a few creases that need ironing out.

[00:05:45]But, so far this is looking pretty damn sexy. It really is pretty damn sexy.
