At approximately 4:24 p.m., officers arrived just in time to see the suspect, Darius Woods, attempting to walk out with a bag full of unpaid merchandise.

After being processed at the station, Woods was officially charged with retail theft and resisting arrest. While the stolen goods were recovered and inventoried, Woods found himself trading his shopping bag for a set of charges, proving once again that some shoppers just don't know when to quit. Well, instead of another high-speed chase, this encounter in Champagne turned into more of a battle of words as the suspect focused on her logic rather than her getaway. On February 7th, 2026, Champagne police officers responded to a shoplifting report at a CVS. The suspect, easily identifiable in a long green coat, was spotted just moments later in a nearby library parking lot.

But following the confrontation in the parking lot, Courtney was officially charged with retail theft and transported to the Champagne County Jail. An itemized receipt confirmed she had attempted to walk away with over $85 in unpaid merchandise. And finally, if the previous suspect tried to talk her way out, this serial shoplifter didn't even bother. I mean, Reynolds really thought she could hit the same store a third time and just walk away with it.
