[00:00:00]So, the current Smith blade takes two of these blank pieces of titanium to make one Smith blade. But the old design actually only really needed one block.

[00:00:10]Could I design this middle piece to be injection molded for the future version of the Smith blade that uses a three-part design? So, I wanted to show you this little 3D printed model I have.

[00:00:20]So, we insert these two dowel pins, and those make the glass breaker holes. We have a literal four mil bit also just held in place like that. And then all of these holes are done with these dowel pins that are threaded.

[00:00:35]>> So we've got our air hooked up. We turn the power on. So it's going to turn up and you can adjust the temperature. Now you can just go ahead and pour pellets right inside. So you have your mold in here. Feel free to go up. You just want to align the nozzle.

[00:00:51]>> Then drop the molds and your injections done. It'd be cool if we can remove it without destroying it.

[00:01:06]>> Look at that. No flashing. Look, the mold's in great condition. It's a 14piece mold. Like that is actually a pretty sophisticated mold.
