In democratic systems, political leaders must be held accountable for their policy commitments and actions, as demonstrated when opposition members challenged Prime Minister Mark Carney's claims about economic affordability and pipeline development, revealing discrepancies between stated policies and actual outcomes.

Pierre Poilievre HILARIOUSLY ROASTS Mark Carney During WILD BATTLE During Question PeriodAdded:
Pier Poly Evv and Mark Carney really battled it out today in question period.
And I got a couple clips here for you.
The first one here is from Brian Lily talking about how they they had a pretty good battle today. I was going to show you the whole clip, but for some reason uh whether it's on CPAC's website or CPAC's YouTube channel, the video is really grainy. So I was going to show you the whole thing and Mark Carney had some really lame attempts to roast Pierre Polyv, but Pierre Paulv actually gets him back. So I have this clip, another clip of Pierre Paulv brutally roasting Mark Carney and then another clip of Michelle Remple Garner calling out Mark Carney as well. So it's another rough day after finding out he's losing a member of parliament. So we're going to get into this, but before we do, please don't forget to like and subscribe. It really helps grow the channel and I appreciate you guys so much for that. So let's have a look and then we'll talk about it.
>> Mr. Speaker, there was a world energy crisis, wars in Syria, Iraq, and Ukraine. But at the very moment that oil hit $100 a barrel all around the world here in Canada it was only a buck 38 at the pump. Those were the Harper days in 2014. And now today with oil prices being lower on a worldwide level. Gas prices are over 40 cents a liter higher.
Those are not world impacts. Those are liberal impacts. Will the prime minister reverse his policies of high liberal taxes and a weak Canadian dollar? so Canadians can afford to fill up at the pump.
>> The right honorable prime minister, >> Mr. Speaker, some things have changed since the Harper days, >> thankfully. Um, >> thankfully. Yeah, thank all these laughing, clapping little sheep here are thankful cuz they're getting paid.
You know who's not thankful? Canadians.
But hey, some of them are too dumb to to think for themselves. And, you know, they watch the paid propaganda and they listen to you and they think you're doing good. Now, they're the ones going to feel the pain, though. You aren't.
You're just going to keep getting more rich. So, what's gotten better for Canadians since the Harper days, Mark?
But then again, this guy's such a liar.
He did say just a few weeks ago that life is more affordable than at any point in the last 10 years. What an absolute joke. But yet, there here he is with his dumb smile on his face. He thinks he's a funny guy. Again, if you think that you're going to just roast Pierre Polyv with these little gotcha moments that aren't even funny, it's going to come back to bite you. And I'll show you a clip of that after.
>> One of them is refinery margins, which are up by 40 cents in Canada. 40 cents.
That's a curious number. Refinery margins up because the loss of petrol.
But one other thing that hasn't hasn't changed is the minister of opposition is against >> child care. Leader of opposition childare. He's against dental care. He's against pharmarmacare. He's against everything that supports Canadians in this affordability.
>> The honorable leader of the opposition.
>> Well, yeah. Lot lots has changed since Harper time. Gas's prices are more than 40 cents a liter higher even though the world oil price is actually lower. And now he's made up this new excuse that there aren't enough refineries. Under his leadership, maybe you should get out of the way and let refineries build in Canada, Mr. Speaker. But this is a prime minister who likes to blame the rest of the world. He's given CA Canadian households the worst debt anywhere in the G7 with delinquencies up 18% yearover-year. Will he stop making excuses and reverse the inflationary policies before Canadians lose their homes?
>> The answer is no.
>> The right honorable prime minister.
>> Okay. Uh Mr. Speaker, >> Mr. Mr. Speaker, what the Liberal policies are delivering is wages. Wages for Canadians that are growing faster than inflation. What the >> um so Northern Perspective actually showed that it's only ever done that I think in once in January and then in February, but since then and just just go on Indeed, look at the look at the wages.
It's the same it's been for a long time.
wages have basically been stagnant or within 5% for like 15 20 years on average.
When I was 18, I was making 19 bucks to drive a forklift. Go and apply to a job where you're where you're driving a forklift. It's about the same.
So, what's he talking about? Just more liberal gibberish from a Liberal prime minister who doesn't know what he's talking about and likes to make up numbers as we've seen many times.
What the government's policy is delivering is inflation lower in Canada than the United States. What the Liberal government's policies are delivering is female employment that is 5 percentage points above the United States. This country is working. We're moving forward. He's trying to hold it back >> here. Here, >> the honorable leader of the opposition.
>> Things are great for the Brookfield class, Mr. Speaker, for those who stash their cash in offshore tax havens and take government handouts getting rich.
But for the rest of Canadians, here's what Equivac says. Insolveny volumes have increased to levels not seen since 2009, up 19% year-over-year. Balanced delinquency rates climbed 32% year-over-year. Q1 saw insolveny volume hit 17-year highs, partly due to escalating financial strain on mortgage holders. Mr. Speaker, things are so good and affordable. Why is it that 1.5 million Canadians missed at least one essential payment in the first three months of the year?
>> The right honorable prime minister, >> Mr. Speaker, Mr. Speaker, this government is moving forward this economy in the face of a global energy crisis, in the face of a tariff crisis, in the face of wars. This country is the second strongest economy in the G7. We are growing strong. We have the strongest fiscal position in the G7. We have a plan. Canada has a bright future.
>> Now, in the clip I wanted to show you earlier, Mark Carney actually accused Pierre Paulv of staying up all night trying to h figure out new ways to install fear in the Canadian people. And I almost fell off my chair. I was like, "Dude, are you kidding me? Go back to your campaign. All you did is fearmonger over the orange man. It's all he did.
Yet he's going to accuse Pierre of it again. Confession by projection.
Absolutely ridiculous. Now, here's a video of Pierre Paulv getting Mark Carney back in a very, very nice roast.
This is from Juno News. Paul criticises criticizes PM Mark Carney for limited house attendance and says, quote, "He won't get out of his chair." and he really gets up and gives it to him here just as he deserves. Let's have a look at this.
>> Mr. Speaker, the reason I'm asking a few extra questions is because the prime minister only shows up once a week and he won't get out of his chair and he didn't like that. Didn't like that.
>> There he is.
>> Come on, get up.
I would just ask the uh I would ask the opposition leader to be careful of of that. We're getting very close to the edge there. The member may continue.
>> Mr. Speaker, I know he's very fragile.
He's not used to taking any difficult questions, but the reality is that Canadians cannot pay their >> And by the way, when Pierre said it, look what look at the conservative reaction, all the clapping.
smacking the table, giving getting up and standing up and giving Pier an ovation. Or maybe they were calling on Mark Carney to stand up since he won't.
Does that sound like a guy who's unpopular with his party?
Doesn't seem so to me.
Now, the last clip I have here for you is Michelle Remple Garner. Mark Carney has got to get his act together. finally an MP who is saying what we've all been saying the pipeline under this government is nothing more than a performative pipe dream. It's never going to happen. That's that's the funny part too, right? Like I've mentioned this on the channel before. All these Liberal MPs who are pissed off at Mark Carney for this pipeline and I'm like he's he's pissing them off for no reason because you're never going to see a pipeline.
That's the greatest part about this whole thing. Either way, let's have a look at what Michelle Relegarner has to say. messaging around a pipeline. Some haven't even read theou between Alberta and Ottawa. Um, some say they want a pipeline. Some say they're not sure.
What do you make? What does that signal to you?
>> Well, as I said earlier, um, if the Liberals were serious about building a pipeline, the announcement that the prime minister would have made recently is this is in the national interest. I have designated it and the day I receive this proposal from the premier of Alberta, it will be permitted. Right? That's that's what he should have said. Um but again, I I reference previous comments I made. Uh this the prime minister has long opposed further development of the energy sector in his policy decisions, in his writings, uh in his public appearances. He also has not signaled that he would repeal any of the bills which have chased away investment for for upstream development, the oil that's needed to fill those pipelines.
So like I think what the prime minister has done and the reason why there's a lot of frustration is that this has largely been performative. There's no action, right? And uh what I expect and what the conservatives will continue to do in holding the government to account is to deliver on actions. uh our party leader has been out uh Pierre Palv very clear on what those actions should be and uh we'll continue to raise the issue in the House of Commons in motions uh and with with every power that we have because that developing Canada's natural resources it doesn't just you know it doesn't just benefit Alberta it benefits the entire country and it gives us energy security and it benefits the world too so um Mr. Mr. Carney has to get his act together. He has to deliver and he um he has to I think change his viewpoints, his long-held viewpoints on the on the energy sector as well.
>> That's right. Go read his book, Values.
He's he he's even been on camera saying many times he wants to leave half our resources in the ground and now he's for some reason deciding to piss off his liberal uh MPs by saying, "Oh no, we're actually going to build pipelines and they're never going to happen." Good luck with that, Mark.
So, the fiscal conservatives are going to be not happy with you and the woke climate zealots are going to be very disappointed in you, but yet, you know, you got to pick a lane.
Or is he just going to continue to flip-flop through every little issue like we've seen him do basically for 14, 15 months straight?
It's kind of the norm with him at this point, isn't it? All he does is lie, make up numbers like we just saw in the clip during Parliament.
claiming Pierre Paul Yeev is in stoking fear in people. Meanwhile, that's his that was his whole strategy. The Liberals uh made people vote off of fear. The Conservatives wanted people to vote off of hope. And a lot of Canadians, roughly 8 million, made the wrong choice. And now we're all paying for it.
