Obama Owns Himself With Tone Deaf Comment — It's Worse Than It Looks

[00:00:00]Just when I thought it was impossible for Barack Hussein Obama to look more like a tonedeaf elitist, this video came across my feed. You guys are not going to believe this. What's up, guys? My name is Jesse Hughes and you are watching Resist the Mainstream. Steven Colbear and Barack Obama, Hussein Obama, were having a sitdown conversation together about politics and about the country. And there are some ridiculous comments that Steven Colbear made that I'm going to get to in a minute. But Barack Obama dropped this incredible line, saying that he wished that the Republican party was a loyal opposition.

[00:00:41]When he was president, he wanted them to be a loyal opposition, a party that was conservative and didn't always agree with him, but agreed on the core fundamental values like rule of law and judicial independence. I'm sorry. you you had a loyal opposition. That's why they were bad. Now, we're going to get to this clip in just a moment so you guys can see it and react to it as well.

[00:01:12]The Republican party was a loyal opposition. In fact, you could say it was controlled opposition. The party of Paul Ryan and Eric Caner and Kevin McCarthy. That was not a party that was conservative. That was not a party that was trying to oppose Obama from a right-ward direction. They agreed on the same core values that Obama had, except it wasn't any of the things that he mentioned like rule of law or judicial independence. They agreed on the core values of the liberals in Washington and the elitist in Washington no better than the American people. That was the core values they all agreed on. He had a loyal opposition that agreed with those things. Sure, they had ceremonial votes against Obamacare and against Obama's policies, but it wasn't until the Tea Party movement in 2012 and the Make America Great Again movement with Trump in 2016 that we saw a truly right-wing conservative Republican party rise up and stand against this liberal insanity.

[00:02:20]And also, Steven Cob Bearer is out here saying that the divide right now on the left is between the liberals and the leftist. the centrist like Abigail Spamberger.

[00:02:32]Abigail Spamberger, the same woman who just signed and allowed the passage of one of the most radical redistricting bills in the country. The same woman who's pushing for some of the most insane gun laws in the country. She's a moderate. She's a liberal. She's a moderate liberal.

[00:02:50]What world do you live in? What world do you live in? Because it's certainly not the one that I do. We are not talking about the same people. If you call Abigail Spamberger a moderate.

[00:03:15]>> There's a debate on what the direction of the Democratic Party should be. It looks like it's going to be a fairly good uh midterm election for the Democrats.

[00:03:24]>> Um chance to take the House, if not the Senate. But there's a big debate on what the leadership would be like going forward. Basically, it's liberals versus the left. To be very reductive about it [laughter] as as as my children say to me, "Dad, you're a liberal. We're leftists." Because they're like, "Liberals are people who think things should basically stay the same." You know what I mean? And the next generation really wants things to change. So, you have great leaders. You have people like Abigail Spanberger and Mikey Cheryl, very [snorts] centrist.

[00:03:56]But then you have further left like AOC or Zoran Mandani. What [cheering] do you what direction do you think would be best for this party to actually achieve um change?

[00:04:07]>> Well, two things I want to say. First, you're right. The presidential center is nonpartisan.

[00:04:13]And the reason I want to mention that is because I'm worried about the Republican party, not just the Democratic party. U when I was president, people would ask me, "What change would you like to see in Washington?" I' I' I'd say I'd love a a loyal opposition. I I I'd love a Republican party that was conservative in some ways that uh you know didn't agree with me on a whole bunch of stuff but believed in rule of law and judicial independence and um empirical empirical evidence and science and wasn't constantly tapping into our worst impulses. Um, and there has been a Republican party like that in the past, and I want to see that return because I think you have to have [music] two healthy parties.
