Trump posters are appearing on Indian auto-rickshaws for a 'Happy Birthday America!' campaign

[00:00:00]These are auto rickshaws, popular three-wheeled vehicles you'll see everywhere in India. Normally, they look like this, but these days some of them are looking like this. President Trump's [music] face is on the back of the auto rickshaws, and so is the slogan "Happy Birthday, America." Some of them also have the Statue of Liberty on them. The advertising campaign was unveiled by Sergio Gor, the US ambassador to India.

[00:00:20]It's part of a broader push by the US to mark the 250th [music] anniversary of American independence.

[00:00:25]For some of the auto rickshaw drivers, this campaign has little meaning.

[00:00:55]Washington is seeking to stabilize relations with India after ties soured over Trump's tariff policies, which raised duties on several Indian exports.
