TVK Chief Secures 120 MLAs For Tamil Nadu Government As Governor Cancels Kerala Trip For Meeting

[00:00:00]The big breaking news that's coming in right now after the appointment that was sought by the TVK was shot down by the governor. We're getting confirmation that in about 20 minutes from now at 6:30 Vijay has been given that appointment with the governor. So behind me here at the Lok Bhavan, Vijay will be coming in about 20 minutes from now. He wanted an appointment at 6 p.m. But here's the important news we're getting which is that the governor has now cancelled his trip to Keralam. canled it and will be accommodating Vijay's request for an immediate meeting. [00:00:40]>> Yes. So, what we can tell our viewers right now is that active Vijay and the entire delegation because he has sought an appointment. I believe there'll be a delegation that will be going to meet the governor that is going to happen at 6:30 p.m. Now that he has uh completed all the formalities and protocols that is you know perhaps given in Indian politics uh governor later has given him time for 6:30 p.m. 6:30 p.m. is when that meeting will be happening at Lok Bhavan and then um Axita we know about whether the threading in ceremony is going to happen which date will be happening that become that will become clear. So if the governor gives a letter immediately to Vijay to uh to come and swear uh you know to constitution perhaps in next couple of days then he will be seen as CM designate but till then we'll have to wait and see but yes 6:30 is when the appointment has been given by governor arka to meet active and the entire delegation. this will be perhaps the fourth time correct me that he will be going to meet uh the governor uh and this time I believe he will be carrying all the signatures uh which the governor has been asking for so that there is no confusion around uh uh you know any any kind of stability of this government and now that AIAMK a huge faction of it has also extended support I think it's it's evident now that um Vijay is ready to be the next chief minister of Tamil Nadu.

We're just going to be coming here to the Lok Bavan to meet with the governor and this time he'll be hoping that he's fourth time lucky. But we'll have to wait and see what we're hearing. The assembly tenure ends on 10th A that's why you know as far as uh avoiding a constitution situation in Tamil Nadu is concerned that's why the governor is prioritizing this over Keralum. Tomorrow is when the legislature party meeting of the Congress party is scheduled to be to be held at 4 p.m. And then uh the leader of the legislature party in Keralam will be going to uh state claim to form the government in Keralam because governor is essentially the governor of Kerala.
