[00:00:03]Uh You know, I'm I am pretty much as defined by, you know, kind of my parents teaching to me. I'm a pretty conservative Democrat. I'm Uh I had a shotgun when I was 3 years old and my father made me carry it around till I was 8 before I could shoot it. So, I'm uh pro-second amendment. I believe that that uh the gun laws should be restrictive enough to prevent those from who shouldn't own guns to from owning them. Uh but so I'm pro-second amendment and as I said on social issues, I'm pretty conservative as well, which is not to say I'm not going to have to deal with these issues if they get to my desk.

[00:00:45]But I'm going to talk about stuff that matters to South Carolinians and governing every day. And some of these other issues to me are a distraction from what we ought to be talking about.
