When political parties run under different names to capture specific voter demographics, they risk losing control over their voter base and cannot guarantee that votes cast under one name will translate to support for the party's original platform, as voters may have supported the alternative name for reasons unrelated to the party's core ideology.

Restore Briatin Missed OpertunityAdded:
And I think everybody else did as well.
I think most people, and it's not everyone wants to get that data because for me it then comes down to right, if they prevented reform getting two seats in this council and two seat or one seat in that council or three seats in that council. I mean, ultimately what you've got to look at with Norfolk is reform took 40 seats there and and Great Yarmouth first, not Restore Britain, Great Yarmouth first took 10. So now what you've got is when anyone looks at Norfolk County Council, it's going to be independent and yet and I personally think they're going to defect to Restore Britain later down the road, which for me is a [ __ ] shady thing to do anyway because there's no way Restore can guarantee that every single person that voted for their independence is voting for Restore Britain. And that's my issue with it. It's It's like you fronted up this other name and people have because there will be people in the Norfolk who wanted to vote for independence because they don't believe in the party system and they want genuine independence that represented Great Yarmouth. And if they all then turn around later on and defect to Restore Britain, that's going to piss some people off cuz there's no way Restore can guarantee that those 15,000 votes were all genuine Restore Britain votes. And I'll tell you why they can't guarantee that cuz they didn't stand under their own name. And that for me is a major red flag. That's not me being critical cuz I'm a Reform UK voter.
That's me sort of looking back as from that from electoral point of view, I just think it was a really, really badly missed opportunity for them. And what it would have done for someone like me is said, "Actually, yeah, they've They've They've got a lot of support." support this is going to cause unless they did it because they didn't want to show or or show Reform or anyone else where their support actually is. So if you want to catch up with all of us on Sunday, the link is below. See you there. 8:00 a.m.
