That is life. The biggest barrier I see for people going through periods like this is that their expectations are way too high. You think, if I can't do it perfectly, then why do it? Going in with the expectation that you will not always be perfect will help you focus on what you can do. Just had a kid, in a busy season of life, getting ready for a move, and just passed away. You may not be able to meal prep weekly. You may not have the capacity to prioritize balanced meals.

Maybe it's stocking up on some protein shakes to have when life gets too crazy and you forget to eat. Maybe it's grabbing some balanced frozen options for when you don't feel like cooking. Maybe it's just giving yourself permission to rely on takeout in order to get yourself to eat.
