I Hated To Admit It But I Need Help So I called In The Mammotion LUBA 3 AWD

[00:00:00]Well, we finally got a dry afternoon evening here on the homestead.

[00:00:06]It's been rain, rain, rain, rain, and you guys can see the grass has really taken off.

[00:00:16]You guys know just how busy we are here on the homestead, jumping from property to property, maintaining things, building a cabin, doing all the things that people do in life. Um you guys are busy just like I am, and if you can take some of that busyness away and uh put it towards something that can do a job for you, that's probably a smart move. That's what I'm going to be doing today. I'm actually going to be putting the new uh Mammotion Luba 3 All-Wheel Drive Series uh to the ultimate test today here on the homestead, and uh hopefully it can handle the task at hand. I'm going to unbox this, put together, charge it up, and we're going to see if it can handle my rocky, uh hilly, hilly yard.

[00:01:07]They say it's pretty much plug and play, won't take long to hook up, so I wanted to unbox it for you guys, show you how it comes, and we'll see if it's really as easy as it says.

[00:01:42]So, my first initial uh thought of this, this thing looks great. I've never seen wheels like this on a robotic mower, and we have put several to the test, and this looks like the real deal.

[00:01:58]One thing I I really like about this already, it already comes ready to go as far as the blades. Sends you a bunch of extra ones, too.

[00:02:12]Okay, so one thing I wanted to point out with this Mammotion mower is that the Mammotion has now opened up their iNabi Net RTK service here in North America.

[00:02:21]What that means is no RTK antenna, no base station, and no complicated installation process. So, as long as you have Wi-Fi connection or the optional 4G module, you're ready to go. Really cool part about it is the iNabi Net RTK service is included free for the lifetime of the mower. So, there are no subscription fees to worry about. It delivers centimeter-level positioning accuracy, works in all kinds of weather and terrain, and helps the mower maintain precise mowing patterns without needing a separate antenna setup. So, for people like you and me, that's less equipment to install, less hassle, and more time getting the mowing done. It's just a simple clean setup that works right out of the box. All right, so while this charges for the initial first time, I'm going to uh hook up or download the app so we'll be ready.

[00:03:08]All right, so I got it powered up. I got the app downloaded, and now we're going to start mapping what area we want mowed. So, let's do that. So, as you can create multiple zones.

[00:03:22]All right, I'm going to get this mapped out.

[00:03:25]And then we're going to get to mowing.

[00:03:31]Okay, we're getting our first first initial cut.

[00:03:34]And I'll show you guys some before and after.

[00:03:37]I maxed out the mapping area, that's for sure. And when I say that, I literally mapped all the way around the chicken coop, by the pigs, around all this, and over there.

[00:03:46]Got it all mapped out. You guys seen some of that. We set the boundaries.

[00:03:50]This thing has been awesome. It has a trifusion navigation with the 360° lidar RTK AI vision camera. So, most robotic mowers rely heavily on boundary wires or one navigation system. This combines three technologies together. So, it can recognize up to 300 different obstacles.

[00:04:07]It works around toys, buckets, furniture, cars, pets, all that stuff, rocks. So, you guys can see we're going down a steep hill over here by the chicken coop. Um this thing can handle it no problem with the all-wheel drive system, adaptive suspensions, and the omni wheels. It can go up to 80% climbing ability. This is the kind of terrain where most robot mowers would get stuck on the rocks, the sticks, the inclines, the mud, all that stuff we have here on the homestead, and so far it's handling it with ease.

[00:04:44]Okay, so it's the next day, and uh he has been I call it the homesteader.

[00:04:50]He has been working his tail off the last 2 days and with a couple rain delays. So, that was pretty neat to see that. Um we had a lot of not a lot, we probably got half inch of rain over the last since I started filming this. Um so, the mowing so far what it's done looks pretty dang good. How awesome is that? How great is he?

[00:05:12]So, he is back to work again. He's right over there by the well house.

[00:05:18]And it's making its pass through here.

[00:05:21]And I got it set up on a a diagonal cut, diagonal cut right here. I don't know if you'll be able to tell.

[00:05:31]But, if you guys remember before and what it looks like now, yeah.

[00:05:37]I'm super impressed.

[00:05:39]Here, we got a wet spot in our yard.

[00:05:42]When it rains a lot, it stays wet.

[00:05:47]And uh I can't believe it made it through there and didn't get stuck.

[00:05:52]Like, right now it's poking around through there deciding there's I'll be I'll be There's no way That's like a bush. If it can go through a bush, I don't know. Wow.

[00:06:09]So, here's a wet spot.

[00:06:14]And, uh, it decided it didn't like it.

[00:06:20]It seen the girls and got out of the way.

[00:06:23]And I got it on the fast mode to cut fast.

[00:06:31]All right, let's see if it's going to get stuck.

[00:06:50]My lawn mower uh would get stuck in that every single time.

[00:06:55]But, the Mammotion is doing its job and it's not complaining.

[00:07:40]And right out of it, no problem. Wow.

[00:07:44]All right, we're going to continue let it do its thing.

[00:07:53]So, you guys can see this thing has went through tall grass, thick grass, has made long passes. I mean, it has been awesome. What powers this thing is a dual 165 W motors. And it actually has the adjustable cutting height, I think I showed you guys earlier. And has a 15 amp hour battery. With that 15 amp hour battery, it can mow up to 1.7 acres per day. That's a lot. So, it's super quiet operation and consistent cut quality is unmatched. And also has the auto recharge and resume mode. That means it gets low, it will automatically go into the station, charge, when it's charged, it goes back out and goes back to work with no complaints. Has multi-zone management, that means you can do multiple zones. Um you can have one day it can be this zone, later on the day it can do that zone. I mean, just depend on your schedule and how you want to do it.

[00:08:38]So, you can literally actually go up to 100 different zones and schedule mowing for those zones. How cool is that? And it has a smart path planning. Um also has a lawn printing pattern, which is pretty cool. That means you can get in there on the app and uh you can draw your own pattern. So, just imagine, it does multiple mowing areas without physically moving the mower around. It will do it on its own as soon as you put that into the settings. Actually has free 4G included, 3 years of free 4G service. So, like I showed you earlier, has rain detection, OTA updates, and IPX waterproof. The rain sensor graphic app controls the phone connectivity. So, the pros, there's no wires to run around your yard, it's all-wheel drive traction, which I've shown you guys going through the mud and everything else. Um it's super fast to set up, it handles the steep slopes, and covers a large mowing area. So, after spending time with the Motion uh Luba 3 all-wheel drive, what impresses me the most is that it's not just a robot mower, it's basically a smart all-wheel drive lawn management system that can handle terrain most robotic mowers won't even attempt.
