You're probably wrong about how much somebody else wants to help. Some recent Stanford research found out that we underestimate this by about 50%. Now, I'm not an expert on this, but maybe that's one of the reasons why we have this loneliness epidemic that we keep hearing about. I have experience with not asking for help rough patches of my life when I should have asked for help because I really needed it. If it weren't for people who really cared about me and told me to get the help I needed, I probably wouldn't have ever asked. So, this is my ask for you. I want you to ask for things that you need. This behind me is an experiment I'm calling need-based networking.
