1 MIN AGO: Epstein Guard Breaks Silence — Shocking Prison Confessions Exposed by CongressAjouté :
Ah, Donald Trump, the man who thinks he's an expert at or remotely wrote The Art of the Deal. Welcome back in Occupy Democrats and in this breaking story, Donald Trump when the key is in any negotiation to have some form of courtesy and decorum with your partner, nah. Donald Trump's The Art of the Deal.
He's so savvy, he actually believed that this is the way you start out buttering up Greenland at the outset. This. I'm not talking about money for Greenland yet, but right now we are going to do something on Greenland whether they like it or not.
>> Not so much, Donnie, which of course is not well received by the Prime Minister here. Talking about acquiring Greenland, that's of course unacceptable. And the impression I have is that we have some clear red lines. Sovereignty is a red line. And other world leaders kind of reminded him of the same. But while there's been a lot said about Greenland from world leaders.
>> Greenland belongs to its people.
>> It's not for sale? And yet at the core of this breaking story, what are the attitudes of the actual residents of Greenland? Given the events of recent weeks, people here are preparing for the worst. One parent told me her daughter asked if they can escape to Denmark before Trump invades. This should be a discussion about the Greenlandic people and its needs for independence. And once we be independent, choose how to use our own economics and land.
>> Danish defense forces have been teaching young Greenlanders war preparedness skills.
>> Seriously, escape to Denmark? How is this even a thing in 2026? Yet, Donald Trump goes on his standard angle of trying to play nice guy and compliment, but he still winds up bashing someone to the ground like an idiot. Here.
>> And by the way, I'm a fan of Denmark, too. I have to tell you and I'm and you know, they've been very nice to me. I'm a big fan, but you know, the fact that they had a boat land there 500 years ago doesn't mean that they own the land. So, the PM of Greenland once again makes it clear.
>> We choose the Kingdom of Denmark. We choose the EU. We choose NATO. So, Donald of course denigrates, dismisses, and always ends with some threat.
THE PREMIER of Greenland said today, "We prefer to stay with Denmark." Do you see that as the >> Who said that? The premier of Greenland.
Well, that's their problem. I disagree with him. I don't know who he is, don't know anything about him, but that's going to be a big problem for him.
>> This is not only a situation for Greenland and the Kingdom of Denmark.
It's about the world order for all of us. So, in the final tally, as I show you this breaking story, Donald of course decides the art of the deal is to sound like a freaking mob boss.
>> I would like to make a deal, you know, the easy way, but if we don't do it the easy way, we're going to do it the hard way. So, now that enough time has passed in this breaking story, Trump, typical, sends someone besides himself the sacrificial lamb to go over and play nicey-poo and either try to buy Greenland and or con them, and let's just say it didn't work out so well.
Check this awesome breaking story out and how the Greenland residents reacted to Donald Trump's ploy. Awesome. Trump envoy hands out MAGA hats to Greenland kids and gets middle fingers in return.
Donald Trump's latest attempt to win over the people of Greenland crashed and burned after the president dispatched Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry to the Danish territory as a goodwill ambassador. Only to have locals greet him with middle fingers and rejections of his giveaway MAGA merchandise.
According to the New York Times, Landry arrived in Nuuk, Greenland's capital, on Sunday claiming he was on a mission to make a bunch of friends.
Within hours, the Times reported, he got nothing but cold shoulders and dismissals. Landry toured the town in cold drizzle offering free MAGA hats to Greenlandic children only to be greeted with refusals.
He then attempted to sweeten his pitch by telling some kids that if they visited his Louisiana mansion, they could have all the chocolate chip cookies you can eat.
Landry's delegation carried cardboard boxes stuffed with mega hats, but few residents wanted them, the report said.
As Landry travel All right, J.D. Vance is currently crashing out in front of the press as they tried to ask him questions about Donald Trump's insane corruption over the past week. If you haven't heard the news, Trump is creating a 1.8 billion dollar slush fund meant for anybody who he thinks has been unfairly prosecuted. Primarily, the January 6th insurrectionists who beat cops, who stormed the capital, tried to overturn an election, and many of whom who turned out to be like, I don't know, pedophiles and random criminals who have illegal weapons. All of them were just complete degenerates, and Donald Trump not only pardoned them, but is now creating a 1.8 billion dollar slush fund for them. When I heard this news, I immediately thought to myself, every single member of this administration should be hounded on Capitol Hill by reporters, question after question about this slush fund and the state of the economy. And would you look at this, J.D. Vance got the brunt of it because he is filling in for a pregnant Caroline Levitt. You know, Caroline Levitt is very annoying in my opinion. Like, I really don't like her relentless lies, but J.D. Vance's annoyingness supersedes hers somehow. He's got this smug, annoying, low charisma, overconfident that is so incredibly off-putting.
Caroline Levitt lies a lot, but man, J.D. Vance makes her look like a professional. As always, make sure you drop a like to help boost our video. If you want to join the pro-democracy coalition and movement that we're building, you can subscribe below as we get closer to 2.1 million followers.
Absolutely beautiful. Let's jump in with this first clip of J.D. Vance trying to defend this $1.8 billion slush fund and then he gets asked about it again and he begins to get increasingly frustrated.
Take a look.
>> John.
Mr. Vice President, thank you. I want to ask you about that $1.8 billion fund set up weaponization fund as it's being called.
Why should taxpayers be paying to settle a $10 billion lawsuit that was brought by the President of the United States and should people that have attacked the Capitol building and assaulted police officers, should they be eligible, should they receive money, should they receive money from this fund? Good question.
>> Well, let me say a couple things about that. First, John, I I I think in some ways the media has misrepresented what this is actually about. This is about compensating Americans for the lawfare that we saw under the last administration. And by >> Oh my god, the spin. My head is spinning right now.
>> anybody can apply for it. Republicans can apply for it, Democrats can apply for it. As you know, the President of the United States has pardoned a number of Democrats who he felt were actually subject to this lawfare. I mean, if Hunter Biden wants to apply for this particular fund, he is welcome to. It's going to go through a normal process where we vet everything, where we try to identify whether people's claims are actually legitimate. But but but Okay, so the same administration that vetted the January 6ers and then pardoned them en masse on Donald Trump's first day, which by the way, they didn't vet any of them. Donald Trump was, according to the reporting, going to only pardon a select few January 6ers who he deemed were wronged.
But then he decided at the very last moment and in the swipe of a pen to pardon all 1,600 J6ers. So, there is no discretion in this. It's just loyalty.
The test is simply loyalty. When Donald Trump pardoned Democrats, I will be the first one to say it, as a Democrat, he pardoned corrupt Democrats. If you read the indictment against Henry Cuellar, if you read the allegations against Henry Cuellar or Eric Adams or other Democrats that have been let off the hook, they were corrupt. Corruption does happen, believe it or not, on both sides, but it is just way more prevalent on the Republican side because of people like Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Rick Scott of Florida. I could go on, but >> But here's the question. The end of Mike Johnson's speakership represents the end of Donald Trump's entire term. There will be no stooge in the house to stop votes, to stop hearings, or to stop impeachments, which is why Donald Trump is just as terrified as Mike Johnson of Mike Johnson losing his job. And it looks like that is coming soon. It might not even require us to win the midterms.
It might happen before then, but no matter what Donald Trump does to gerrymander the South, it is looking like Mike Johnson is going to lose his job. And that is certainly being helped by a leaked DUI, a leaked drunk driving video, which is making the rounds and going viral in the worst way for both of those men today. I want to get into it all, but I do want to start with the real reason why Mike Johnson is scared, or the broader reason, I should say, and that is that Donald Trump, him, John Thune, J.D. Vance, the entire Republican Party has failed to live up to the lies that they told voters about solving their problems. J.D. Vance was confronted about that today, and I think it perfectly sets up Mike Johnson's fears about losing his job and the drunk driving video that we're going to get to that's going to end his career. Mr. Vice President, um, midterms are well underway. You've got voters going to the polls in six states today. You and the president ran on a platform that included no new wars, cutting gas prices, cutting inflation. What do you say to the people who are going to the polls today and who feel like those promises are unkept? I'd say a a few things. First of all, we've delivered great wins for the American people. We ran on delivering tax cuts to the American people, which we did, the largest tax cuts in American history. We ran on cutting taxes particular on people who are working on overtime, working on tips. We cut taxes for those Americans. We ran on the promise of bringing investment back into the United States of America that rather than factory closures, we were going to have factories opening. And we've seen both construction jobs in manufacturing, but also manufacturing jobs have great rebounds under the Trump administration and under our leadership. We are very aware that because of what's going on in the Middle East, gas prices have gone up and a lot of Americans are struggling because of that. Our view is that it is a temporary increase. We're taking a number of steps to try to push back against it and try to ensure that Americans are paying as little at the pump as possible. But I feel quite confident after we've taken care of business in the Middle East, those prices are going to come down and there have been a lot of prices, as you know, a lot of prices from rent to housing, where we still got a lot of work to do, but we do see some real progress made across the economy on pricing, but also on people's jobs.
J.D. Vance cannot answer for the failures of this administration because J.D. Vance never really believed that they were going to get anything done.
What was the Republican plan to lower cost? They didn't have one. So he can't say that they didn't live up to it. What was the Republican plan to stop Donald Trump, a madman who even before he began his term wanted to conquer Canada, Greenland, and the Panama Canal? What was going to stop that guy from senselessly bombing brown people who he doesn't care about all around the world?
What was going to stop that? Nothing.
And so of course J.D. Vance cannot answer for the question of what do you say to voters who are upset that you lied to them? Cuz the plan all along was just to lie to them and then obstruct progress and write a tax cut for bill >> So, who was on Capitol Hill today?
Was it the acting attorney general of the United States of America?
Or as one Democratic lawmaker put it today, was it Donald Trump's consigliere?
Todd Blanche came under withering questioning from Democrats over the wholesale replacement of the Department of Justice's 150-plus year-old mission of upholding the rule of law in this country and around the world with instead doing the bidding of an aspiring autocrat named Donald J. Trump. A key focus today, that $1.8 billion settlement funded by our money, taxpayer dollars Our taxpayer dollars will now be used to compensate people who claim to have been wronged by the Justice Department, the so-called victims of weaponization.
Here's Senator Van Hollen on that.
This is an outrageous unprecedented slush fund that you set up. Simple question, will will individuals who assaulted Capitol Hill police officers be eligible for this fund?
Well, as it makes plain, anybody >> I would just let me know if they're eligible for the fund.
>> As as as was made plain yesterday, anybody in this country is eligible to apply if they believe they were victim of weaponization.
>> Mr. Attorney General, let me ask you this.
Are there going to be rules that say that if you've assaulted a Capitol Hill police officer or committed a violent crime, you will not be eligible? Why not make that a rule? I expect that the Well, because I'm not one of the commissioners setting up the rules. I expect that there will be rules >> members, aren't you, Mr. Attorney General? Pardon me?
>> You're appointing four of the five members. I am appointing all five members.
>> set up There's also an individual who after being pardoned by the president uh went on to molest two children.
And that person actually tried to buy the silence of these children by saying that he would pay them some of the funds that he was hoping to get from your slush fund.
Can you commit to making the rules so that that person is not eligible for a payout under this fund? Well, you're obviously lying in your question because there's no way that this person committed to that the slush fund as you call it, which is not didn't exist. I I'm sure Mr. Attorney General Don't ever do that again. I am reporting what he said. He said on the expectation that he hoped to get some of the funds from a payout. He's he's been hearing >> that he said from the slush fund, Senator, and that didn't exist when he said that. This is the fund that the president and all of you have been telegraphing all along that you are going to use to help the president's friends. Can you point to a single telegraph What telegraph did I I have a last question for you.
Do you know that it is a criminal offense to lie to Congress? I am very well aware of that. I'm glad to hear that.
Couple of headlines there, Blanche acknowledging it is a slush fund and we'll use his quotes if you'd like us to, but also suggesting that the child molester who was convicted for the crime of telling the child he molested that there was money coming to him restitution.
Um Didn't he even know couldn't he have even known about the slush fund?
The person that Senator Van Hollen was asking Todd Blanche about is named Andrew Paul Johnson. He's right now, as we come on the air, right now his status is this. He's serving a sentence of life in prison for molesting minors. NPR reports this about him. Police reported that that man, Johnson, 45, tried to keep the children quiet by telling them he would share the millions of dollars in restitution money he expected to receive from the Trump administration in connection with his January 6th case, end quote.
At one point, as part of his bungling defense of the slush fund, Trump Blanche suggested that anybody, any Republican, any Democrat in this country, could apply for money if they quote believe they were victims. Watch that.
It is true that this is unusual. That is true. Um but it is not unprecedented and it was done to address something that um and their lawyers Well, I'm I I I've been told directly uh from the representatives they've not had a chance, at least this group, to meet with you. So I I I I'm >> represent the So I'm glad to hear that.
>> represent they asked for a meeting? Can I Can I Can I ask you to commit that the Justice Department will not recommend a pardon for anyone named in the Epstein files.
Can you repeat that question? I'm sorry.
I didn't hear what you said.
>> Can you commit that the Justice Department, you, the acting attorney general, will not recommend a pardon for people named in the Epstein files.
>> When you say people named, I have no There's tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of quote people named.
>> Ghislaine Maxwell? Can you commit that you will not to >> Yes, I can commit to that, of course.
About 12 hours after President Donald Trump started this new war with Iran, his FBI director Kash Patel took to social media to reassure the American public about safety here at home. He said, quote, "Last night I instructed our counterterrorism and intelligence teams to be on high alert and mobilize all assisting security assets needed. While the military handles force protection overseas, the FBI remains at the forefront of deterring attacks here at home.
President Trump's attacks on the federal workforce, along with some of his most aggressive policy positions, have prompted a number of former civil servants to enter the political arena.

Attorney's office in Washington, is running as a Democrat for Virginia's newly proposed 7th congressional district. He told the New York Times that the biggest catalyst for his decision to run was the fatal shooting of Alex Preddy by federal agents in Minneapolis.
