Early childhood memories can be vivid and detailed, including specific locations, people, and events from around age 3-4, though these memories may be subject to distortion or modification over time, as demonstrated by the speaker's recollection of living in Detroit in 1974, attending Monnier Elementary School, and being placed in school a year early, which resulted in being the youngest student in the entire school.

And uh I remember uh I remember that whole block.
And then I remember when uh I went to elementary school. Uh I went to elementary school at Monnier, m o n n i e r.
In Detroit. My teacher's name was Miss Vance. She was real nice.
I didn't know what the [ __ ] school was.
I thought them [ __ ] was dropping me the [ __ ] off for real.
My oldest brother always told me, "Yeah, we we found you under a rock and decided to keep you."
And I said, I thought it was Here Here we go.
Birthday in kindergarten was like, "Oh well, I guess I'll see never see y'all again." My older sister sat in there with me till I could uh get my bearings together.
>> [laughter] >> And they put me in school a year early, so you know what I'm saying?
Uh when I graduated from school, I'm the class of 1988. I was supposed to graduate in '89.
Uh and uh Yeah, they put me in school early.
My mom said cuz she was tired. She was ready to get this [ __ ] over with. So in all my classes, I was the youngest. I went to high school freshman year, I was the youngest person in the whole school.
Nobody knew that [ __ ] Then I had to remember uh how they did it, like I didn't even know what the [ __ ] my birthday was. I mean, I knew when my birthday was, but my birthday to my family was different than what my birthday was in school.
>> [laughter] >> My birthday is December 19th, but in school my birthday was December 1st.
At first, I didn't know I didn't know we had to write a book when I was in third grade.
I gave up the beans cuz I I I couldn't keep track of the lies. That's another thing I learned about lies.
Um Like my pops say, if you keep your [ __ ] straight, you ain't got [ __ ] to straighten out.
And a lie is it takes too much energy. It it What do they say the worst enemy of a lie is the time and a bad memory. You know what I mean?
So, uh yeah.
Memories, man. Oh man, I remember mine.
You know, I remember my pops uh putting a mattress in the basement and we shooting at it with a [ __ ].22 rifle.
I knew how to do all that [ __ ] before I was five. Um eating cabbage. I used to love cabbage.
I'm going to talk about cabbage and peas and spinach, too, cuz I ain't really like spinach and peas till I was 20.
