[00:03:10]Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what they used to use like years ago cuz I think what it does is transfers the natural oil, the natural oil in your scalp down the hair to the ends.

[00:03:35]So they didn't have to wash their hair as often as we do.

[00:03:41]I know. I don't know why we don't use those still today. They're like quite expensive. I think obviously modern hair brushes are just to detangle.

[00:04:43]No, I'm so bad. I don't even brush my hair every day. I've always been like that. But I'm quite lucky. My hair doesn't tangle that easily.

[00:04:57]I tend to just brush it in the shower with a wide tooth comb and then I just leave it I've always been quite lazy when it comes to my own hair.

[00:05:17]Like anytime I've had a particular style cut in, it has to be low maintenance. Otherwise, it just won't do it.

[00:14:51]I know we love getting our hair brushed as an adult, but why was it never relaxing when we were kids? It was always like a dreaded time.

[00:16:57]I spent like my late teens and my early 20ies dying my hair constantly to the point that it all started falling out.

[00:17:12]So now I think it deserves a bit of a break.

[00:17:26]Yeah, I think I bleached it for the first time when I was like 15 or 16.

[00:17:36]And then I add every color under the sun. I've added pink.

[00:17:41]I've added blue. I've added green.

[00:17:46]I've added red, orange, black, brown, different shades of brown, platinum blonde, dish water blonde. That's such a weird name for a shade of blonde. It sounds kind of derogatory, but it's a lovely color.

[00:18:21]I know. I was always jealous of people that had naturally blonde hair, but I think I'm like on a self-love journey with my hair now of like trying to just be happy with my natural color.

[00:18:42]Yeah, I had an argument with my little brother recently about that. He was like, "No one who's an adult has naturally blonde hair." I was like, "What are you talking about?"

[00:18:55]Yes, they do. He was like, "Not platinum blonde."

[00:19:00]That's just not true. There's plenty of people who have that naturally.

[00:24:04]Yeah. When my hair was as long as yours, my mom used to like doing kind of fun, intricate styles like princess braids and things like that. Again, like I said, I was I was too lazy to do it myself.

[00:25:02]But they say that if you do trim it regularly, then it grows quicker. But I don't know how true that is.
