Why was the detention oversight office really shut down?

[00:00:00]So, the Trump administration officially shut down uh immigration detention oversight offices.

[00:00:05]So, there was a watch a watchdog group that investigates uh abuse, unsafe conditions, and deaths inside uh ICE facilities. Um so, the Trump administration shut down um you know, uh every oversight office for any type of immigration detention. Um so, there's no accountability. Um there's no checking of the facility.

[00:00:25]There's no um you know, making sure that that if anybody is in a detention facility that is is humane. Like, the whole department has just been uh been wiped out by the by the administration.
