Waymo pauses freeway operations

[00:00:00]Waymo puts a pause on its freeway operations. The company is working to improve how its autonomous vehicles navigate certain construction zones. In a statement for California sister station, Waymo said safety is the company's top priority and which is why this pause was put into effect. Closer to home, Waymo began offering rides in Nashville back in April. The self-driving vehicles operate across a 60 square mile service area here in Music City and routes currently do not include the interstate.
