On Saturday night we did a debate review to God logic Avery's uh debate with Captain Taria where they spoke on if Gentiles can be saved. We did a debate review to that. So, it was a good debate. I actually enjoyed it. I should do more.
So, we're going to do part two. I don't know how many parts I'll do of this, but we're going to do part two of the debate review. We're going to try to get through the video.
Um, I think I'm going to use the summarize feature because this summarize feature on YouTube kind of gives the, you know, timestamps of biblical passages that were discussed.
So we have Romans 11 obviously this goes for a long time and we have Romans 9 verse 24 19-26 uh and then we have Isaiah 49. Those are the three main passages.
So we're going to 1926 it says Israel metaphor of natural branches the wild gentiles are king of Israel being restored. So, we're going to continue where we left off, which was in regards to the previous to Romans 11. If you if you're unsure, we when we're reacting, we were we left on off on the points that they both were making regarding Romans chapter 11.
Tazarak was saying that Romans 11 refers to scattered Israelites which is obviously unbiblical and fits nowhere in the text of scripture and logic was refuting that foolish heretical uh doctrine and we have made various points on Romans 11 while we're reviewing this debate. So without further ado let's just get into it. Let's continue. But yeah, as I was saying, they always try to force this Judah, southern kingdom, Israel, northern kingdom distinction into into the word Gentiles when it refers to the Gentiles and the Israelites. The text doesn't say that. That's the thing, like these Hebrew Israelites, just like in my video I uploaded on Monday, how I said quote unquote pastor Gino Jennings hates the Bible, which he does. is because they import things into the text that the text never says or never demonstrates.
And the Israelites do the same thing.
The text never demonstrates. Text never says anything regarding the southern kingdom northern kingdom distinction in regards to the Gentiles in Romans 11. It never says anything regarding that.
There's nowhere where you infer that.
Nothing. It doesn't mention that at all.
However, these guys will go and try to import this distinction right back into the text. The text has no mention of it at all.
The text is clear. It's talking about native Israelites and how because salvation has left them for the rejection of the Messiah, the Gentiles have come in to make Israel jealous. If Israel is coming back in when it was taken from Israel, then Israel will not be jealous. It's using Israel as one group. It's not making a distinction within that group. It's taking one group, which is Israel. There'd be no reason for Israel to jealous if Israel is coming back in. What would make Israel jealous is if another group of people are given the kingdom, which is similar to what Jesus says. Actually, Jesus says this in Matthew chapter 21.
Let's turn there. Matthew 21, I think it's like 48 somewhere near the bottom.

Verse 42. Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the scriptures, the stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone."
Uh, this is what the Lord has done and is wonderful in our eyes. Quoting from Psalm 118, I think it was 23, right?

Therefore, I tell you, he to the Israelite leaders, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits. Whoever falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but on whomever it falls, it will shatter him. You see, whoever falls on broken pieces on whomever it falls, it will shatter him. You guys see that? So Jesus is clear that because the Jewish nation because they don't produce the proper fruits, this kingdom will be taken away from them and given to a people that produce the fruits that he wants to see in his kingdom. So they're they're the nonsense they're doing is just funny honestly. Here uh here shall be broken. Shall receive my dance spoken put on a throne will ren raise upon it will grind in the powder who is celebration of glory and for the full improvement bring upon himself aggravated guilt and dreadful unavoidable destruction.
You guys see this? So on whom on whoever falls on it, who shall stumble at me in my doctrine while I'm on earth shall be broken.
Right? That's what the commentator says.
So it's clear that Jesus is making a point that the kingdom will be taken from the Jews and given to a people producing a fruit. It's fruit. You can't take something from a group and then give it to the same group. That doesn't make any sense. What would make sense is if it's taken from that group and given to a different group namely the Gentiles which is the whole point of what Jesus is saying here right this is the word used ethnos and you know how this word ethnos is translated can be translated I should say a race a tribe a foreigner a gentile hea You guys see? So this could clearly be rendered given to the Gentiles producing its fruits.
So they keep trying to import the Jew and southern kingdom northern kingdom distinction into the world into the word gentile when it just simply is not there. This distinction northern kingdom southern kingdom distinction the word gentile is not in the text. So when they try to import this in, it's it's just them adding to the Bible. It's unbiblical and it has no basis, no backing in the holy scriptures. It's ridiculous. It's crazy. Let's continue.
You want to say northern kingdom and southern kingdom. Some people say that because when Christ was on the scene, Christ said, "I'm not sent but into the lost sheep of the house of Israel." The tribes of Israel as a nation was not there. They were cut off. Another excellent example is the prodical son.
In the prodical son, you had the two sons. The two, you always notice it's always in twos because you had northern kingdom and southern kingdom. So the northern kingdom gets kicked out. He's wallowing himself in the swine. And when he comes back to the house and accepted of the father, who's angry about that?
The son that stayed. And so Judah didn't want those son, excuse me, didn't want his brother to come back. Isaiah 11:13 is another example. When it says that, >> what's this guy talking about?

Let's go to the scriptures. He's trying to show that the nor this northern kingdom was left and the southern kingdom stayed and when the northern kingdom comes back, it's like the southern kingdom's the angry son. None of this is biblical, brothers. None of this is biblical.
Even by what he's saying, he's trying to basically state that the Gentiles refer to the scattered Jews of the northern kingdom. That's basically what he's trying to say. And that the uh the southern Jews they they stayed already, right? They they they have stayed. They have they are the prodical son who was upset. The son, not the prodical son, the other son who was upset. But Paul says, "I too am an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected his people."
Paul is calling himself an Israelite.
And he's talking about the group of Israelites saying that they have rejected God, but God has not rejected them. And he says he's a from the tribe of Benjamin. The tribe of Benjamin was joined with the tribe of Judah in the southern kingdom. So the southern kingdom was a part of those who were scattered. Was a part of those who were taken out. [laughter] You understand what I'm saying? The southern kingdom was part of those who were taken out.
So the southern kingdom was not always loyal, was not always faithful.
And even then, the northern kingdom was not some special tribe that's now being grafted in. They, like the southern kingdom, were disobedient.
So Paul is not making a distinction between north and south like he's trying to push and import into the text, which is unbiblical. Paul's clearly making a distinction between native Israelites and non-native Israelite. That's the whole point of what Paul is saying.

The subject is about Israel not being cast away according to the first verse verse 13 when it says I'm 14 rather when it says I provoked the emulation them which are my flesh that's found in Romans 9 and4 them are my flesh who are Israelites to whom pertain the adoption the glory the covenants the services and the promises.
So this >> okay I got you. So so when you said I didn't answer about 16 I feel like I did because when I you said that they're being grafted back in but in this context it doesn't say that they were never part of the natural tree to begin with. Exactly. Logic is 100% right there. The text is not mentioning anything about being grafted back in.
The text is saying that they were wild.
In the last reaction, we already went over what the term wild means. That it's not natural. It's something foreign.
It's something distinct.
If it was Israelites being grafted back in, they would not be distinct. They'd be the same group, just scattered Israelites.
But the text is clear. They are wild.
They are not of the natural habitat.
Israelites are the natural habitat. What would make sense is if these wild branches refer to Gentiles who are of a different nation, who are of different peoples, who are of different tribes, different kindreds, different groups of the world, who have taken up faith in the Messiah and are joined to Israel through the faith that they have in the Lord Jesus Christ. So him trying to push this northern southern kingdom distinction into the text to support his false doctrine isn't working. Avery shut it down right here.
So that's what I'm saying here when it says but if you I'm sorry but if some of the branches were broken off and you although a wild olive shootute were grafted in these people were not broken off of this tree in the first place.
They're bringing they're being grafted into the tree and now taking part in the nourishment. So you have the natural branches that were cut off before and now there's room for the unnatural branches to be grafted in. Like when you when you bring up like you said uh Judah and who else was it?

Even in the text that Tazariaak is bringing up, this olive tree that's flourishing, that's beautiful, that's well-formed fruit refers to the house of Israel and the house of Judah. He's trying to say that these branches broken off refer to the house of Israel, the uh 10 tribes that left uh from the southern kingdom tribes of Judah and Benjamin. But in Jeremiah 11, the branch that was the the olive tree that was set fire to represent an Israel both north and south and both of them were burned because both of them were sinning. So even the text he's going to help his case.

So even in what they're saying, what he's saying here, it cannot be that the Gentiles are the northern kingdom because in the same books where it mentions the northern and southern kingdoms being restored, it also mentions the foreigners joining to help and aid Israel and the foreigners being brought back into Israel.
But I won't go into that right now because Logic will go into that when they mention and speak on Isaiah 49. So we won't go into that right now. When they mention Isaiah 49, they will speak on that. There we go. Isaiah chapter 11 mentions this. It says verse 10. On that day, the root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples. And the root of Jesse refers to the Messiah. This is also shows the Messiah's divinity because he's at one point the branch of Jesse and he comes from Jesse's roots. But then the Messiah is called the root of Jesse, showing that he is the one who sustains the line of Jesse because he is the God who sustains the the line and lineage of Jesse. He's divine. On that day, the root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples. The nations will look to him for guidance and his resting place will be glorious. On that day, this time about the Messiah's kingdom.
When the Messiah comes in glory in his kingdom, the Lord and the Messiah's uh messianic kingdom, the Christian church specifically, the gospel era, the gospel age, the Lord will extend his hand a second time to recover the remnant of his people who survive from Assyria, Egypt, Paff, Kush, Elam, Shinar, Hamoth, and the coast and islands of the west.
He will lift up a banner for the nations and gather the dispersed of Israel. He will collect the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth. Ephraim's envy will cease. Judah's harassing will end. Ephraim will no longer be envious of Judah. And Judah will not harass Ephraim, but they will swoop down on the Philistine flank to the west. To there they will plunder the people of the east. They will extend their power over Edom and Moab. And the Ammonites will be their subjects. The Lord will divide the Gulf of Suz. He will wave his hand over the Euphrates. and it there'll be a remnant for his people who will survive from Assyria as there was for Israel when they came up from the land of Egypt. So the Bible is clear that Israel be will be reunited.
Even in the early chapters of Isaia it's clear that Israel will be reunited.
Those who went to Assyria the northern kingdom will be reunited with Judah.
Ephraim will have no reason to be jealous and Judah will harassing will end because Ephraim and Judah will be reunited. So when the text mentions the strangers even in the book of Isaiah in the book of Jeremiah in in context of the Bible these strangers would be nonIsraelites. It's contextual. This is what the Bible teaches. So when they say this nonsense like what Taz is saying they directly contradict the text of scripture. They are directly contradicting directly going against the text of the Bible. It it it's absurd.
They're just directly going against the Bible. They can't substantiate their points. Can't substantiate their claims.

So can you show me what nations did they become?

Children born to you after them will be yours and will be recorded in the names of their brothers with regard to their inheritance.
So the text says that many nations will come from you and I'll give this land as a permanent possession to your future descendant. We're not disagreeing with that, but the tribes themselves count as nations. I I don't think he he's understanding this. Like in the same way in the same way that Abraham's children were nations or Noah's children were nations. For example, Canaan was a child of Noah. Canaan became a mighty nation where Ishmael was a child of Noah. And Ishmamail and his descendants became mighty nations. Or Lot had children from his daughters. And his children, Moab and the Moabites and the Ammonites became mighty nations. The tribes of Jacob were nations as well. They counted as nations in the same way that these other patriarchs, their children, their children, their their seeds counted as nations. It's not like Ephraim was just one man and Israel is the nation. And Israel, Israel's the nation cuz they were all living in one air in one place, but they were all their own nation. Even if you if you read the book of Judges, you read all about this how they would they even fought wars against each other. The 12 the the 11 tribes fought against Benjamin. I think that's Judah.
That's um Judges chapter like 191 17. So they were nations. It's just that they all had a very closeness to each other because they came from one being Jacob.
Look, let's even look at the word used in Genesis 48:3 for nation. Let's look at the word Genesis 48:4. Let's look at the word used here. For example, let's point. Make you fruitful of people to come and I'll make you this land of peoples. This is the word. I'll make you fruitful of peoples, a company. So, this is the word translated uh nations. I will make you this land and will give for after you sense everlasting a possession. So uh I don't know what speaks it. Behold to me. And he said be to me behold I'll make you fruitful and numerous and I'll make you a company of peoples. Two words used here a company or group of peoples.
So the text is saying I'll make you a group of peoples. And that's exactly what happened cuz these na these tribes can count as nations because they were large people groups. They were large groups or assemblies or congregations or companies. That's a proper word. So he made out of Jacob came a large group of peoples because out of Jacob came the 12 tribes which was how many millions of millions of people. So this was fulfilled.

Genesis 48 says nations because the tribes can be considered nations because they're large groups of people which is what the Hebrew text literally says. The Hebrew text literally says I'll make you a company or a group of peoples. That is what is written here. That is what happened. that out of Jacob will came many groups of people, many companies of people or it could be said many nations because the tribes can be counted as nations. The tribes have had wars against each other. The tribes are large groups that just have such a closeness to each other because they have that brotherhood because they come from Jacob. Like people act like the 12 tribes are like just not nations themselves. But that makes no sense. That would be the same thing as saying that Moab and Ammonite Ammonites are not nations. They're just, you know, brothers. They're just tribes of Lot, the nation. That doesn't make sense. They are considered nations. And the 12 tribes, they are just strongly connected because they come from Israel.
So, they are the 12 tribes of Israel.
But they are still nations themselves.
That's why they actually could be considered nations even when they split.
The southern kingdom, the Roman kingdom, those were nations themselves. And even then, you still have the tribes that were nations considered nations. and what not you. Does this make sense? So many nations, many groups of people came from him, but they are still native Israelites. That's the point. That is the point. He He doesn't understand what he's reading.

So even what he's saying, it doesn't make sense cuz both of them in context would have been broken off because both of them were disobedient to God. The disaster uh the house of Israel and the house of Judah brought on themselves by burning incense to be both of them were doing it. So both of them would have been broken off. So he keeps trying to use that to say that in Romans 11, the brokenoff branches refer to the scattered Israelites of the northern kingdom. But none of that fits in the text. That fits nowhere in the text because the northern and southern tribes would still be natural to Israel because they would still be nativeorn Israelites. So they would still be natural to Israel. The only ones who could be wild, could be unnatural to this olive tree, which is Israel, would be those of other nations who are not native Israelites, who would be considered Gentiles.

It's contrasting those which were broken off to those who were grafted in. It would make no sense to say Jews were broken off and then Jews were grafted in when it's literally contrasting two different groups, the natural and the wild. As it says down here, the natural and the wild. So if it's contrasting the natural and the wild, then it's contrasting two groups.

That's not what the text is saying. Text is saying that compared to the greatness of our God, he is exalted.
No one understands him except his spirit who his spirit enlightens us about who he is. So he is exalted. He is above all things and nobody understands him. The nations are nothing. Lebanon cedars are not enough. The animals are not uh or his animals not enough. The nations are nothing compared to him.
Look this. That's why it says in verse 18, with whom will you compare God? You know what I mean? So it's talking about how God is exalted above the nations.
That's the context of Isaiah 40 that God is exalted above the nations. Even in the context of what you read in Isaiah 40, which Paul's quoting, it would include Israel because it says all man, all humanity is like grass because they fade away, which include Israelites, but God never fades away. But Paul's quoting this to show that God is exalted above mankind, which would include Israelites.

And by first fruit, he either means the patriarchs or as many commentators understand him, the first converts to Christianity from among the Jews. So as you see commentators refer to first fruit roots as patriarchs which makes sense. So the first fruits refer to the patriarchs and the whole batch. And if the root is holy so are the branches. So if the root the lineage the the base of Israel Abraham the patriarchs those who were uh who spoke to God who God appeared to who were called by God Abraham Isaac Jacob if they're holy then the branches will be holy because they are supported by that root.
So he keeps mentioning verse 17 like it has any bearing to the argument. Romans 11:26 in context is to be understood that all Israel is to be saved because both gentile who has been grafted in and native Israelite the remnant who has been received back to God because the Bible I I do as I said earlier in the first video the Bible I think is clear that there will be a remnant of the Jews who are brought back around the end times whatever the case might be but there is a remnant of the Jews who are brought back who are returned to the belief in their Messiah.
So the remnant of the Jews that saved, the Jews that have believed in the Messiah and the Gentiles, the non-native Israelites who believe in the Messiah will all be grafted into the one tree which is Israel. So the church, the Christian church, the messianic kingdom, the Christian church led by the Lord Jesus Christ, that counts as all Israel.
Because Israel is those who are born of God, not of flesh, not of blood, not of who your daddy is, but of who your heavenly father is, who your Lord and Savior is, who you believe in. That is what makes an Israelite. So all Israel refers to all Israel, all those who are Israel, the church, both Jew and Gentile, based on the context of Romans 11, which he doesn't understand the [laughter] I'm going right to the emulation. Paul is not saying that no other nation has can or has been adopted because even in the covenant as you read in Deuteronomy 29 or Jeremiah 8 or even Leviticus other passage of passages as well strangers and foreigners were part of the covenant. Strangers and foreigners were listed as part of Israel who the covenant was made with. So when it says the Israelites, it's just referring to that the native Israelites, those who are blood descendants of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, they were adopted by God. God chose them as his people.
But then Paul makes it clear in what Tazarad said that said not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.
Meaning the Israelites up here refers to flesh and blood. Yes. As he says in the context, right?
They are adopted. They are chosen by God. God chooses his people.
But if being an Israelite does not mean you're actually an Israelite, then being an Israelite is something deeper.
Meaning being an Israelite is in reference to who you serve. That's why not all who are descended from Israel, descended from Jacob are Israel.
Because being an Israelite is about who you serve, who you follow, who is your savior, not who your daddy is.
So Paul's making it clear that Israel, God gave them the promises. God gave the Jewish people the promises.
He gave it to them, their ancestors, their fathers.
But their rejection means they're not Israel. So those who were in line with God, who were following God, were part of the covenant, which included non-Israelites.
Does that make sense?
Does that make sense everyone?
Including nonIsraelites.

Houston, Matthew 3:9. And do not presume to say to yourselves, "We have Abraham as our father." For I tell you, God is able from God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham.
He's 100% right. Jesus made it clear.
Your daddy, who your daddy is, it doesn't affect who your God is. You have to make that decision for yourself.
He came to his own. John 1:1-13. And his own received him not. But to those who did receive him, he gave them the right to be called children of God, who are not born of uh flesh, nor dwell a man, uh but of the will of God.
Born of God, really, as the text says.
It's not about who your daddy is. It's not about who your blood ancestry comes through. It's about who your savior is.
And if your savior and your lord, your redeemer, your god is Jesus Christ, you're part of Israel because Israel is made up of God's chosen people. Then the chosen ones are those who put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life. God bless you all. Thank you for joining tonight.
