[00:00:08]>> Since being here and being on video a lot, I think because everyone else is really embracing fake tan, I look really pale compared to everyone. I'm like, why not having this? The celebrity engagement that everyone is talking about. I'm just already thinking like, what's she going to wear? And we have our say on whether it's okay to eat on public transport. But this morning, someone next to me was eating two large corn on the cobs.

Laura, >> I am wearing It's like their first outing, but I've gone with some caros today, which feels quite extra for me, but I'm kind of enjoying them. Yeah.

[00:01:27]>> Um, I love the Citizens ones, but I thought I would not invest straight away. So, I've gone with these from ASOS Design, and I love them.

[00:01:35]>> They're great. I like the Citizens ones as well, but I'm a bit like little bit too expensive to wear out, but they are they denim, too.

[00:01:42]>> Thanks. Yeah. Yeah. And then I've got on my trusty maybe white shirt, which I love, and some I wanted to wear my new heels, but they didn't arrive in time, so I'll talk about those later. So, I'm in my old old trusty Mangoes.

[00:01:55]>> Okay. Very nice. Do you starch your shirts to give them like because they look so crisp?

[00:02:00]>> No. Iron.

[00:02:01]>> Just a really good iron. Really good iron.

[00:02:03]>> A good iron.

[00:02:04]>> And a husband that's quite good at ironing and very particular.

[00:02:06]>> Oh, really? Can't buy that on your stuff and he'll do it for you.

[00:02:10]>> And he's really, really good.

[00:02:11]>> Does he enjoy it as well? Yeah. Yeah, that's the trick.

[00:02:14]>> Very particular. Helps.

[00:02:15]>> It has its perks.

[00:02:16]>> It does have it. You can roll them out when you need to.

[00:03:25]All right. Should we go into some things we love? Jen, what have you been loving recently?

[00:03:29]>> I have been watching Beef series 2. Did you have you watched the first series?

[00:03:33]Talk to me about what Beef is.

[00:03:35]>> It's so It's the second series, but it's not connected to the first series. It's the same sort of themes. And it's a dark comedy that kind of looks at wealth and race and privilege and kind of how like awful people can become when those things interact. So this series has Carrie Mulligan and Oscar Issacs as sort of middle-class couple in America who I think she comes from a very wealthy British background and he uh is the manager of a country club. Then there's a Korean family who have just bought the country club who are billionaires but they've got kind of scandal going on in Korea. And then there is a young couple who work at the country club who um are both poor and kind of get involved with the middle-class couple via kind of a blackmailing >> and it's just the interlink stories of them. It's really funny, very um kind of eye opening. And it's one of those series where you watch where you it's so kind of shocking, but not in a sort of gross way, just in a social way, I suppose, that you're watching it and you go, "Oh my god." Or like, "I can't believe that happened." You're kind of out loud responding to it because it's really well written.

[00:04:45]>> Okay.

[00:04:45]>> Very good. Very funny.

[00:04:46]>> Well, who watched that?

[00:04:47]>> Netflix.

[00:04:47]>> And you series 2's just >> series two just started, but you don't need to see series one. It's not at all connected. Yeah. But it's so funny. Cara Madigan plays that she plays that character so well of like the kind of privileged but sort of clueless white British woman. You know, there's one scene where she's sort of like she's an interior designer and she's showing the new Korean owner around the clubhouse and she's like, "I just love light and I just love color." And then afterwards her husband who they have this really tumultuous relationship like everyone loves light. What the [ __ ] are you talking about? Like such a stupid thing to say. But she's like quite unaware of her privilege I think. But yeah, it's really good. Yeah.

[00:05:22]>> Sounds very good. Yeah. What else? I'm loving the start of barbecue season.

[00:05:26]This weekend just gone the first weekend.

[00:05:29]>> The weather this weekend was so >> It was gorgeous, wasn't it? And slightly like you with your shirt. The reason I like barbecue season is cuz my husband >> worried that was going really good on the barbecue. So he for years was like, I really want to get this uh Komodo jo.

[00:05:45]It's like a big green egg. It's the other version of it. They're the same price. They're just different colors.

[00:05:49]But he wanted it for years and I was like, no. Like you're not spending that much on a barbecue. It's ridiculous. So much money.

[00:05:54]>> And eventually I uh let him spend his money on something. Um and I'm so pleased I did because he loves it and he's out there like smoking stuff.

[00:06:04]>> I feel like people that have them, they become like their personality.

[00:06:08]>> Personality, but I'm kind of okay with that.

[00:06:09]>> And they go out at like 7 in the morning and start like turning. Yeah. Yeah. He's got all the gadgets to go with it. Um so this weekend he made some really delicious lamb kebabs and I did all the sides from this chef called Sabrina Gaya. Okay.

[00:06:22]>> So, she does kind of um Persian, Middle Eastern cooking. So, I did like a harissa rice, >> a red pepper yogurt, some hammering beans. I made some flatbreads which was so easy.

[00:06:39]>> It was delicious.

[00:06:40]>> Can I come around? Oh my god, it was really good. Yeah. And her cookbooks are so good and so easy. Like the flatbreads for the rice. I'm not going to tell you the whole recipe, but basically you put, she tells you the measurement of the rice, 300 gram, 450 ml of water, >> cold water on the stove, >> steam it, >> 30 minutes. Don't touch it.

[00:06:57]>> Yeah. You're not allowed to touch it.

[00:06:58]>> Perfect. Perfect rice.

[00:07:00]>> Really?

[00:07:01]>> Yeah. Can never get rice.

[00:07:02]>> I know. It's really difficult not to touch it.

[00:07:04]>> Perfect rice. Interesting. I was amazed because I've always used a rice cooker cuz my mom's Asian and and Asian culture, everyone actually uses a rice cooker. They don't do it on the hob. So, I'm kind of distrusting of all the all the tricks and stuff people tell you, but this was perfect. Only put a tiny bit of butter in it. I think that helps because it kind of I guess loosens it up a bit. And >> yeah, it was >> after it's cooked or when it's >> before it's cooked. So, yeah, I just literally chucked the harissa paste in.

[00:07:26]I'm telling you the whole recipe now. I just literally put the harissa paste in, a bit of lemongrass, butter, salt, and pepper, cold water, lid on, 30 minutes.

[00:07:33]Perfect. Rice.

[00:07:34]>> Yum.

[00:07:36]Yeah. Yeah. So, that's what I'm loving right now.

[00:07:38]>> Yeah, that sounds delicious. food and hungry enough which is not food >> along the same theme.

[00:07:44]>> Yeah. Um Laura, what have you been up to >> this weekend? I I mean obviously the marathon has been huge chat. I mean amazing. Anybody that did it that day makes me weep. I just think it brings out the best in humanity.

[00:07:57]>> The runners and London I think is famously like the best at that in the world. I think you hear a lot of people who have done multiple ones saying London is >> I think cuz it's one of the last ones that's remaining that's really really charity based.

[00:08:11]>> Um and so it's what they've raised like over time is incredible.

[00:08:16]>> Um but my daughter did the mini London Marathon on Sunday which was so sweet. I just absolutely loved it. I mean it's just 2.6k and they run they get the they get the best bit. They get to run down the mile at the end but the sun was shining. It's all obviously beautifully organized because it's part of the London Marathon and it was just such a happy, gorgeous day and London just looked >> incredible. So, do you do you run it with them or >> Okay, they just do it.

[00:08:43]>> Yeah. Well, she was doing it as part of something with her school. So, there were teachers running, but yeah, they >> off she went. I got to cheer and like everybody was cheering. Such good turnout. Yeah, it was really lovely. And then on Sunday, my brother-in-law has just um he's got a real he's a car enthusiast to say the least. And um there's this amazing guy. His Instagram is Project 88. I am not a car enthusiast, just to be >> um honest here. But he's just bought this amazing restored >> Land Rover and it's the long wheel. Is that what you call it? When it's a bit longer. Sure. Um anyway, it's like 9 or 11 or something in the back. And so because the weather was so sunny, we took off the top because it's got the canvas top and we just cruised around London like an urban safari we kept calling it with it was just amazing.

[00:09:35]It's so beautifully done. So if you have any car lovers >> in your life like definitely check project. It was it's very very cool.

[00:09:43]>> What about you Polly?

[00:09:44]>> Um well mine are actually two food based things. Kind of got that on the brain.

[00:09:49]One is a substack actually called Dinner Tonight and it I've just been getting so much midweek dinner inspo from it.

[00:09:56]>> It's useful. Yeah.

[00:09:57]>> Because I just find it can get into a bit of a rut and I really enjoy making something at the weekend and taking a bit of time over it. But then I kind of let the the weekdays just fall into a bit of a like I'll just chuck some.

[00:10:11]>> You just want something quick, don't you? But what um Margie who writes the newsletter does is the idea is that they are like, you know, healthyish, quick, tasty, and you can like scale them up.

[00:10:23]And I tell you, one thing I really like about her recipes is that >> in the in the instruction bit, in the method, she puts like the amounts in in there as well as in the ingredients.

[00:10:35]Keep going up and down.

[00:10:36]>> Literally, I know it's such simple, but I find that so annoying when it keeps going.

[00:10:42]So so annoying. Um, but I've made a couple of really good dishes from that and actually made them for like dinner parties as well at the weekend. So you can get from it.

[00:10:50]>> Oh, there's one. There's a sausage and fennel pasta recipe that I've made a few a few times. It's quite obviously like indulgent that one, but it really works for like big groups.

[00:11:00]>> Yeah.

[00:11:01]>> And when you're feeling just a bit like you need some pasta.

[00:11:05]>> Yeah. Uh, and my other one is a sandwich restaurant. Restaurant sandwich place I'm going to call it. Yeah, where I live outside of London, but it's called Two Hands. I have been in there a couple of times and got their fish finger sandwich, but it's just so freaking good. It's massive. I think the reason why it's called two hands is that you need two hands to eat these sandwiches cuz they are so massive. But really like crispy massive fish fingers with gerkins, shredded lettuce sauce. The bread is really good. It's just fantastic. If you're in the area and you like a sandwich, on to some fashion, shall we? Laura, anything?

[00:11:47]>> Like recently, like I'm just endlessly like adding stuff. That's the >> thing about this job is that there's so much product in front of me all day. I'm always adding to my basket. But I have just ordered um actually I've ordered them twice because the first pair arrived and they come up quite big. But Alex Steiner came in the other day and I I have always loved white shoes and finding the perfect pair of white heels is actually really hard.

[00:12:10]>> She came in the other day and I was in a meeting and all I was like my shoes I need to find out where they're from. And they're naked and they're kind of white heeled. They've got a little peep toe.

[00:12:20]They're kind of a liar Kate vibes with the heel and the peep toe. They're real leather. They I think they're about 80 quid >> and not too big a heel.

[00:12:28]>> Not too big a heel. Definitely daytime.

[00:12:30]And I ordered them in one in my size.

[00:12:34]They came up a little bit big, so I've just ordered a smaller size, but they are excellent.

[00:12:38]>> Great.

[00:12:39]>> I also popped into cos very quickly this weekend and they've got amazing annoyingly they didn't have my size, but amazing satin trousers.

[00:12:48]>> Like I always wear satin trousers like the Almalda, all of those, you know, a Reformation. I think I've got literally every pair you can get. But these are amazing quality and they were about £85.

[00:13:00]And they came in cream, navy, brown.

[00:13:03]Really heavy, like won't crease super easily. So good. But they were sold out on my site, so I'm going to keep an eye on those. Um, and actually, well, I've also found a set on Zara, which is like a runaround set for the weekends, but it's a navy quarter zip with matching kind of sweatshirt shorts, which I thought would be really nice for summer.

[00:13:22]But my real find actually of today is not a major fashion find. It's more of like a hack. But these trousers are quite big for me. And you can get on Amazon these like little buttons.

[00:13:33]>> Yeah.

[00:13:33]>> That you pierce your trouser with like an earring.

[00:13:37]>> So you pierce the back of your trouser like an earring and then you've got and then you use your normal button hole >> to put it through.

[00:13:44]>> So you can put put it anywhere you like.

[00:13:46]>> Yeah. And we just pull it tighter together. I'm going to show you properly later, but they're amazing. The pack was about £3 for eight of them. And I'm like, "My god, it's gonna transform."

[00:13:58]>> I think especially like, you know, certain times of the month and stuff, you literally get if you want to go in or out. Yeah. So good.

[00:14:09]>> Jen, I um the Victoria Beckham Gap collection.

[00:14:13]>> First of all, I'd like to have a word with Victoria cuz I went all like Mr. or Mrs. Gap. I went online. It was at 9:00 a.m. launch and I like at 3 minutes to 9 was like, "Oh, get on now." You know, so then I can like hit refresh at 9. and it was already live and already like mostly sold out. So then I um just kept refreshing them and then like ordering random sizes of the white jeans that Lou was wearing last week and obviously anything models like I'm like oh I need to buy that cuz I'm going to look exactly like her. Of course I look exactly like Lou. But they I've ordered like a size eight which I know are going to be too small and I ordered size 14 which >> wow nowhere in between >> because they didn't have any so I was like just paying extra delivery each time. But if they um I haven't tried them yet, but I'm assuming they're both not going to fit. So, I found a really similar pair at Masimo. Okay.

[00:15:00]>> That kind of ecru color. They have a fold up uh hem, but I think you can fold it down. Um so, those I'm looking at.

[00:15:07]And then the Burberry Hanza collection.

[00:15:11]>> Love it. It's so good, isn't it?

[00:15:13]>> So cool. Yeah. And it's just a kind of obvious match as well, like two British brands.

[00:15:18]>> I wasn't quite sure what it would look like, but they've been very clever. Yes, like the piping on the edges >> with the red was mega.

[00:15:24]>> Yeah. And I think the tank I mean I don't know how flattering tankinis are always, but like the tankini is so 90s.

[00:15:29]>> I think I saw that one.

[00:15:30]>> It's like it's like a bando tankini which has the the >> I like that it's bando rather than it being like with straps. I find a tankini like a little bit tricky to >> It feels quite like Posh Spice vibes.

[00:15:41]It's really really nice. Yeah.

[00:15:43]>> Um >> it's really nice. I love it.

[00:15:44]>> And then my other discovery is not fashion but I have very recently discovered fake tan. Yes. I mean, welcome.

[00:15:51]>> Like, how you've been in this office for this long anyway?

[00:15:55]>> I'm quite like olive skinned, but I since being here and being on video a lot, I think because everyone else has really embraced fake tan. I look really pale compared to everyone. I'm like, I'm not having this. So, I I started I mean, I very much went in like I guess I like raw dogged it first of all. Like, I just picked up a fake tan. I hadn't moisturized. I hadn't exfoliated. I hadn't didn't wear gloves. I just went the whole way. I know. And I am like quite I am like spontaneous in like the unsexy ways. So I'm not like last minute weekend to Paris. I'm like let's just put some fake tan on with bare hands. So I used >> that the next day.

[00:16:30]>> Do you know this is the thing? Actually went okay. I think it didn't. So I used this Clarins gel. I did wash my hands afterwards. You know, that was one thing I knew to do. Um, and it wasn't too patchy and it was what I liked about it was I could apply it in the morning and it kind of dried and I could put my clothes on 20 minutes later after I done my makeup or whatever rather than I don't want one that have to put on at night and have to sleep in and whatever.

[00:16:53]>> So, I'm up for all the tips.

[00:16:55]>> Yeah, we are an office of fake tan lovers. I think I I just I just love it.

[00:16:59]Makes me feel so much better.

[00:17:00]>> Makes me feel so much better.

[00:17:02]>> Felt like >> you're like I felt like Jazelle. Honestly, the next day I was like, I look amazing. Like, what's happened?

[00:17:12]>> So good. Yeah.

[00:17:12]>> What's your fave, Polly?

[00:17:14]>> I'm a bear by Vogue gal. Really good thing.

[00:17:16]>> Which one? The pale pink mousse.

[00:17:18]>> I get the clear foam because it it has no guide.

[00:17:23]>> You want a guide?

[00:17:24]>> Well, I've really used to it. And obviously, like look, you know, disclaimer, I don't always get it right, especially around my feet.

[00:17:29]>> No, I've been your legs. No patchiness.

[00:17:31]>> But I think that's just cuz, you know, I could be better at like buffing it in or whatever. But I do think the color is really natural. It doesn't dry my skin out too much. And I love that it doesn't transfer onto your sheets. I can't be bothered.

[00:17:42]>> Although I do think if you if you put any on and let it properly dry before you get into bed, it does transfer much less.

[00:17:49]>> Yeah. So that's a hot tip. But um >> yeah, if you're a sweaty sleeper perhaps, then the clear water is the one. And then I've actually got something to recommend which is a new Bear by VU product. Sounds like this is sponsored, but it's absolutely not. I was just one of the lucky few to try it before it's even launched, but she's launched a um like a mask. So, I really like her face tan products as well, but it's like a really thick indulgent like face mask. It's just like a really like rich night cream, I guess, um that you can slap all on over on your neck as well. And the color is really nice cuz I sometimes find the face tans like just generally, not just this brand or anything, that can be a bit like, you know, patchy around the face, whatever, but it's just a really nice even >> I don't find the face tans work that well for me either. Yeah, the one that I do like cuz I've used this for a while is the Sanrope mist. And actually what I did was cuz last week I was quite patchy and I just used it on areas of my legs and hands where I noticed a bit patchy so I just sprayed a bit of that mist on.

[00:18:45]>> Like a pro someone that's very new to fake 10 days and >> it is it is my job to Yeah. be good of you.

[00:18:54]>> No, I want all the tips. I want all the tips cuz >> Well, kabuki brush. That's what my tip is.

[00:18:59]>> Yeah. Brush the feet. Yeah. And the hands.

[00:19:02]>> I wish I listened to myself. Sometimes like at night time when I know I have to put it on before bed, the idea of like having to strip off and do my hand as well as buffing my hands, I'm just like, >> "Yeah, that's why I'm going to do it in the mornings, I think, cuz that's when I'm more like in in the zone."

[00:19:16]>> Yeah, it is like my worst bit is doing my tummy, especially if I'm cold. I'm just like, >> "Oh, I haven't done that. I look I look like I've got like a white swimsuit on and no one's no seeing my stomach at the moment." Yeah.

[00:19:29]I really rate that. I just have to do it all. Which I just I think >> every time.

[00:19:34]>> Yeah, cuz I'm just like I hate looking at my like pale ass. Just look around.

[00:19:37]I'm like, "Oh, that's upsetting." I've got to do I got to do myself a favor. I can.

[00:19:42]>> Lucky Harry.

[00:19:43]>> Yeah. Or not so lucky Harry, depending on how you look at it. Um well, I've got one little thing on my wish list currently that I went to. When I went to Harvey Nichols this morning with Rebea, there was a pair of little flats, little mules from Jude. Do you know that footwear? I love that brand.

[00:19:59]>> Yeah. So, they're like they're quite known for a sort of peep toe that's V-shaped and they do high heels. I think Nana actually wearing the red today, like having just done a marathon, which is mind-blowing to me. Um, but fair play to her, but I'm more of a flats girl and they they've got a pair of white flats with a little peep toe mule shape and I just thought, gosh, they'd be so useful going into spring. I need to have a look at those.

[00:20:23]>> Yeah. And I've not seen their flats. I think white shoes generally are like aren't they flattering? Yeah, >> very useful.

[00:20:30]>> Very useful. So, I actually didn't check the price. I thought probably best not to on this occasion, >> but I will be dreaming of them.

[00:20:38]>> I think as far as designer shoes go, >> yeah, they're not >> they're not they're not mental mental.

[00:20:44]>> Yeah, I'll talk myself into that scale.

[00:20:46]>> You need some persuasion.

[00:20:47]>> There's always something more expensive.

[00:20:48]>> There is always.

[00:20:49]>> So, therefore, like I'm actually saving money because I could be spending way more.

[00:21:40]>> But I also I also forgot that she was married before and she had that do you remember she had that adorable >> I think it was Alexander Wang dress. It was like very Audrey Hburn drop waist.

[00:21:49]>> Um >> so I I'm just already thinking like what's she going to wear? And do you think I think they would go lowkey small?

[00:21:56]>> Yeah, I think so. They're not like flashy people, are they?

[00:21:59]>> Probably in Rome. They seem to bloody love Rome.

[00:22:01]>> Yeah, maybe it will be Rome. But I like that they're quite lowkey.

[00:22:08]Cuz he normally he does marathons, doesn't he? He does. He loves >> He did one. Did he do one sub sub three?

[00:22:15]>> Yeah. Yeah. He's super fast.

[00:22:16]>> Like, it's even more of a flex. Another reason to like him.

[00:22:20]>> Which actually brings me on to my other celebrity gossip, which is my new favorite celebrity, Sebastian.

[00:22:26]>> Such gossip. He ran sub two marathon. I mean, >> but do you feel sorry for the second guy? Totally.

[00:22:33]>> So, the guy that came second also did sub two. No, two men in history to have done it under race conditions. And the guy who comes second also did did it.

[00:22:42]>> But like I mean he literally was like 1 hour 59 and 32 seconds or something mental like it's so and I know every second counts but like so close.

[00:25:06]>> Mine is mine is that I'm just wishing wishing people to be less flaky. I just feel like I don't know if you've both noticed this and I don't know if it's because a lot of my friends are currently in the baby/toddler phase. So obviously there's a lot of like sicknesses and having to cancel and I and I obviously understand that but >> I just feel like I put in dates with people now and I I'm thinking they're going to cancel bad >> and it's bad and I have certain friends that I that I don't even bother with anymore basically because you know you try like three times and you just think well I'm not going to bother. And then I had this big 40th a few weeks ago. It was a whole weekend and um one of my friends uh tried to cancel the day before and they had a sort of fair like the reason was I would say like half valid >> but they could have still come to like it was a three-day thing so they could have kind of come to the second day definitely. So I actually just said to my husband like you've just got to call them and say like please do come because we'd we'd also spent a lot of money on people being there like per head and someone else could have had the room. Um >> and they weren't the only person to someone else had canceled a month before the date had been in everyone's office for six months. And you know when people are like, "Oh, I've double booked." And it's like, "Well, you're a grown you're a grown."

[00:26:24]>> And you also should have realized you double booked.

[00:26:26]>> And I just feel like people need to be a bit full weekend. Yeah. Like the amount of effort. I mean, I saw the pictures, but the amount of effort you guys put into that.

[00:27:15]I agree. And I think there there's occasions like my friend and I were talking about it actually and she was like, "Oh, well I you know I never to cancel." And you was like, "Listen, if it's you or I and we're like saying one night after work we'll go for a drink and then on the day one of us is like we're not really up for it. Fine." But if you know if you put in a group thing on a Saturday night or >> a weekend away or >> I just feel like people just aren't reliable anymore. It's >> a shame, isn't it? I don't know what it is, whe maybe it's because we're so easily contactable and you don't have to ple someone necessarily. You can just duck out by sending a text which feels >> um and obviously like you said there are instances where there are very valid excuses and childcare etc whatever but >> yeah I feel like I don't I can't speak from experience but I think probably in the olden days it was harder to flake and you just had to be there at a certain time or you know someone's house because it was polite to and it's harder to cancel. Yeah, I think it's just better to say no earlier on.

[00:28:13]>> Yeah. I think I find it hard because like I'm a bit of a people pleaser and sometimes I'm not I don't have plans and someone's invited me to something in the week. So I don't have an excuse to be like sorry I can't make it because I'm doing X. It's just a actually I just don't think I want to come or because like I don't want to come to London just for the evening. But I find it hard to just exercise my right to say >> but you should.

[00:28:36]>> I think that's the thing though. I think if like manage your own expectations and everyone else's when it comes to your time like >> Yeah.

I think it's the time of day as well that really gets to me. Um, but this morning someone next to me was eating two large corn on the cobs. Do they still have the husks on or not?

[00:29:47]>> Yeah, they did. And I was just like straight from the field. Yeah, it was >> time a day.

[00:29:52]>> This is pre a.m. Wow.

[00:29:53]>> It was at like 5 to 8. She had a real setup actually. Like she had her iPad was watching something and she had like a sandwich bag with two massive [ __ ] off corn and the cobs and then also some dumplings that she' just eaten beforehand. But like there is no delicate way to eat a corn on the cob and but she was properly going for it and >> getting it on your jacket.

[00:30:13]>> I was just like what are you doing? Like I just obviously I can't really say anything cuz she's not she's not doing anything illegal but it feels illegal.

[00:30:21]Like it was just so gross. And then a couple of months ago, again, someone pre8 a.m. whips out a pepperami, which is so feral, and then ate it, which again, so smelly, disgusting, and then she got another one out and ate that as well.

[00:30:35]>> That's not even a hangover. I was going to say like >> it was like a Monday. And it's like, babe, like I just feel like as someone who was quite acutely aware of like things that I might be doing to piss someone off, whether it's like, okay, I don't want to play my music.

[00:30:49]>> Yeah. Or like, you know, is this like Take a sip of my water.

[00:30:53]>> Yeah. Yeah. It's so amazing to me that people don't think is my eating this massive [ __ ] off corn on the cob so aggressively like a little bit disgusting for the people around me.

[00:31:05]Like it might gross them out like they're just trying to enjoy their commute.

[00:31:10]>> I think with food on public transport especially the tube which I just think is so grim like if you get on the northern line for more than a couple stops and you blow your nose it comes out black. Like that's horrible. I think if you're choosing to eat all those germs, then fair enough. It's not hurt anyone else. But if it's something that is either messy or smelly >> in those two cases, then that is not acceptable.

[00:31:33]>> Yeah.

[00:31:33]>> Any kind of hot food really is kind of unacceptable because the smell >> unless it's a 10 p.m. train and you've got a drunk McDonald like like all the rules are out the window. I think past a certain time and everyone's pissed.

[00:31:46]>> Yeah, it's the morning. It's very inconsiderate. So, okay. I'm glad we're we're in agreement.

[00:31:51]>> Yeah. I think anything anything messy, loud, or smelly.

[00:31:55]>> Yeah. Shouldn't be allowed.

[00:31:56]>> And like I don't disagree with, you know, if you want to eat your food on a train, like I understand maybe you're like really hungry, anemic, or whatever, and you need to have them, but you can just have a bit of bread. It's inoffensive >> or like a little pasta salad, fine.

[00:32:09]Good. Yeah, pasta salad.

[00:32:10]>> But no, cuz then you need a fork. I think there's something a bit >> I've definitely been like I guess when I worked regally, I would like get a Leon and eat it on the train or something. So maybe I am guilty actually cuz Leon smells a bit stinky.

[00:32:26]>> I'm the problem. But I wouldn't do a corn cob. Corn on the cob. No.

[00:32:57]This is where we answer some of your awkward scenarios. First one's a good one. I accidentally stalked my boss on Instagram and liked a photo from 2018.

[00:33:07]>> Do I address it? No, you unlike it firstly.

[00:33:11]>> Yeah, obviously you just unlike it. I don't think it shows up if you unlike I thought that I don't think it's that deep. It's worse if you've like watched their Instagram stories because then they can see that. But I think a like I would just immediately unlike it.

[00:33:23]>> Yes. I think and if you haven't done that then >> go and do it.

[00:33:27]>> Then do it done it >> and have a stiff drink.

[00:33:31]>> Yeah. my friend, she like a while ago, I mean she's quite a voracious like stalker of like she likes everyone's business, but she got into a habit of not only watching her like ex partners' like stories like multiple she would also stalk their like new girlfriends and also watch their stories, but then she didn't realize that they can see and and we told her that she's like no they can't. We're like she's like I've been don't even follow them just go on and watch their story. So, beware. It's >> beware. Next one. What are your thoughts on voice notes? I hate getting them, but they are so much easier to send sometimes.

[00:34:11]>> Oh, I'm with her on that.

[00:34:12]>> Yeah, it's a lovehate relationship.

[00:34:14]>> It is a lovehate relationship.

[00:34:15]>> I think if you think that they're easier to send, but you hate getting them, you need to get off your high horse. Like, >> but it's just there sometimes the reason I don't like them is if I'm at my desk >> and someone sends you a long one >> and someone sends me a long one, like I wouldn't listen to it. So then I feel like I'm delaying it.

[00:34:32]>> Yeah.

[00:34:32]>> Yeah. I I think you've got to know your audience as well. Like I have certain friends that I voice not know with and I have others that I don't.

[00:34:38]>> It's a completely different relationship.

[00:34:40]>> I think like it's >> I feel like it's also quite like somebody voice notes you, it means that you're a little bit >> closer. Do you know what I mean?

[00:34:48]>> It's always for a goss as well, isn't it? It's never like >> But I think sometimes people use it inappropriately and it's like, I don't know, a work thing and they're like, "Hi babe. Um, just thought I'd send you a voice note because it's easier." It's like easier for who? For you, not for me. And you just want something from me.

[00:35:03]I have no problem with friends just being like, I've got some juice for you and like you can just listen to that your own time. But when someone just can't be asked to write a nice email to you being like, I would like to work with you or whatever. I'm like, no, >> it's a no for me. I think you've hit the >> nail work capacity.

[00:35:20]>> Yeah. People sending voice in work capacity.

[00:35:22]>> I think when someone says because it's easier, >> is it easier for both of you or just one of you?

[00:35:28]for both.

[00:35:29]>> I do love a juicy one though. Like I see one especially in like a little girl group.

[00:35:34]>> You see a voice you're like going in.

[00:35:38]>> But I do like a double speed too.

[00:35:40]>> Oh yeah. Double speed. Thank god.

[00:35:42]>> But sometimes I find if someone wants something from you, I'm much more of a like need to see it in text like in point so I can then take it off.

Would you rather be overdressed or underdressed at every event?

[00:36:30]>> I think as a rule in this office, we are usually more overdressed than a lot of people.

[00:36:38]>> Yeah.

[00:36:38]>> But I think if I'm going to an event, I pair it back often. Do you know what I mean?

[00:36:45]>> Yeah.

[00:36:46]>> I would rather I'd be more comfortable if I was slightly underdressed.

[00:36:50]I'm always I always go under at events because I think >> if you're over I think it depends on how you carry yourself. I don't generally like to dress.

[00:36:58]>> I don't wear a lot of bright colors anyway cuz I just don't like a lot of attention on me a lot of the time. But I think if you walk into room overdressed, >> everyone's going to look at you. And if you walk in underdressed, everyone might look at you. But I think if you do underdressed in like a cool way, you can get away with it. Yeah. You can get away with it. Yeah. I guess like it's such a fine line to toe, isn't it? Because if you turn up to something and it's like I know someone else's event and you've gone all out on this like outfit, they'll be like, "Oh, does she think it's all about her?"

[00:37:24]>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:37:25]>> So, I think I'm with you. Maybe just a tad underdressed, but >> not not like tracks on the thing.

[00:37:32]Underdressed, but like >> and even small things like clean, like if you're going to wear trainers to a dinner, like just make sure they're clean trainers, not like covered in, you know, scuffs and dirt or whatever. Have you ever like got the dress code wrong like for a wedding where it was like black tie and you didn't realize or something?

[00:37:50]>> My wedding was black tie and someone wore trainers >> but but she looked she looked fine.

[00:37:55]>> She looked fine. She looked fine >> if she was going on a day trip.

[00:37:58]>> She looked fine. No one wore white. I didn't have to kick anyone out.
