In that whole interview, you told her one new thing, which was that you told Iran that in addition to not making a nuclear weapon, they couldn't buy one. I think the language in the discussions, and I would imagine in the agreement Obama had with them, the one that was working, you remember, back when the Strait of Hormuz was open, I believe the language was that Iran could not obtain a nuclear weapon, which you'll note covers making one, buying one, being loaned one, finding one in a woman's cascading hair, and conjuring one.

You said people ask you if you could ever get along with the Democrats, which allowed you to launch into your well-trodden claim, "I'm not sure that's possible, because I want closed borders and they want open borders. They want every criminal in the world to come into OUR COUNTRY." IT WASN'T SO MUCH A journalistic interview as it was a visit with her kids' grandpa.

[00:02:16]Did you try to comfort them by saying, 'We don't have every criminal in the world here, but I certainly am an access to every kind of crime there is.' Well, Trump, is your daughter-in-law. Couldn't you have given her a scoop like, 'I don't shake hands with my left hand.'

[00:02:32]Instead, you repeated to her your riveting story about your light bulb moment when you came up with Democrats, complete with the accompanying spelling lesson on the word dumb. Here, the skillful cameraman went in tight on her amazed expression. Why not give her the exclusive on the winning Republican strategy against Democratic Senate hopeful James Talarico? I'll bet you and your political instincts were behind it.

[00:03:24]With the assertion that a vegan simply cannot win in Texas. Apparently, he's not a vegan, but nonetheless, even an accusation of a vegetable diet is a death knell for a Texas campaign. And if someone asks him for avoiding starch, it is all over.
