[00:00:05]>> Hey, Chicago. We're out here. We're out here today in front of the Obama Center that's being put up right here in stone in St Stony Island. Probably about 62nd or 601st Stony Island, right adjacent to the Museum of Science and Industry.

[00:00:21]We're out here today because we need the Chicagoans to know, especially the black Chicagoans, to understand the harm that has been done to us by the Obama Center.

[00:00:31]Mainly because number one, it has caused our environments over here and our communities over here to be ultra gentrified. They're coming for everything that's over here to get it out. Starting with the apartments that's on 65th and Stony Island, for example.

[00:00:48]those apartments that have probably been under building code violations for years. They've allowed those buildings to sit here and now because of heavy gentrification because the Obama Center, they're moving the people out. We all know my story. We all know about how I talked about for the last three years about how they're stealing black people's property. I too am affected by the Obama heavily gentrification over here. That's the reason why we are saying JB Pritster must go to jail. You all need to understand that JB Pr is a vital part of this situation. In fact, JB Pritster appoints the public administrators. The public administrator Lewis G. Apostle, public administrator Leah Jubakoski and public administrator Tina Lstropolis are all part of the real estate theft that's going on over here by the Obama Center in Southshore.

[00:01:44]There's documentation to prove that that's what they're doing. Yet, he's still doing it. They're stealing our property in the name of this Obama Center. You look at this Obama Center.

[00:01:54]It is not a beautiful piece of architecture that this city is accustomed to getting. Look at the Obama Center.

[00:02:02]>> The words that's at the very top of it, we can't even tell or decipher what that what that statement is. It's poor architectural work is what it is. And they put it over here in our community.

[00:02:14]Brandon Johnson did a meeting at Parkside Elementary School probably about um maybe eight, nine months ago or so where they talked about the CBA agreement that they had with this community as it pertains to the people that were displaced because of the Obama Center. One of the most bogus aspects of that CPA agreement, I believe the CPA stands for community bargaining agreement. One of the most bogus aspect of it is that they're saying that that CBA agreement will allow the people that were displaced from over in this area back in 2016 that it would allow them to come back and move back into this area.

[00:02:53]The question becomes what exactly would they move back to? The question becomes, how would they be able to even afford the rents that would be over here now?

[00:03:01]It's a bogus CBA agre agreement and it's just vindicative of the type of politics that's going on in Chicago right now that has gotten this city in a democratic political headlock that we are in.

[00:03:17]There are no serious steps to preserve our community. There are no serious steps to keep our real estate or to protect us from this aggressive property tax scheme that's going on on the south side and west side that will surely result in a lot of us losing our properties. We are here in front of the Obama center. In fact, we're demanding a apology from Barack Obama for allowing them to put a museum, a library in his name over here that would have such a negative effect on the black community.

[00:03:50]a community that stood behind him, a community that he rode from on and on and on bragging about how he and Michelle were from the south side of Chicago. And this is the thanks that we get.

[00:04:04]This is a shame. This is a shame. And we are encouraging especially young black people to pay attention to this. Move the needle in a different direction. Get away from these Democrats. They mean us no good. They mean us no good. get away from them and put as much pressure on the Republican party as we absolutely can. We will not allow them to play kick the can with our lives. We will not allow the Democratic party to give us absolutely nothing. And then after we advocate for the Republicans to come into what's supposed to be the land of Lincoln and they don't show up, we are demanding that the Republican party show up and put some pressure on the Democrats to make them stop this nonsense that's going on in our communities. This is black Chicago speaking and we're demanding white politics.

[00:04:53]Say no to the Obama Center. It's here, but we don't have to deal with the consequences of it laying down. We can continue to fight for our communities despite of what this has done over here.

Just like Brandon Johnson, who's from Elgen and a loser his whole entire life, doesn't understand the culture of this city and the vibe of the city and doesn't appreciate the city.

[00:10:34]>> JB Pr is also my understanding, we're going to use the term allegedly that he's part of that Apple Seed Foundation for Fair Courts.

[00:10:44]>> They are connected to the Chicago Council for Lawyers. The Chicago Council for Lawyers is the public agency for a judge seat and those that are looking to remain in their judge seats.

[00:11:02]The Chicago Council of Lawyers are in charge of those evaluations. one of the agencies, the Chicago Council of Lawyers allowed, Judge Terrence Maguire, probate judge and evaluated to be not qualified by the Chicago Council of Lawyers. Yet, by way of signatures, he was able to get on the ballot unopposed and was appointed by Timothy Evans to serve for 12 years.

[00:11:40]After learning that he is incompetent and has messed up probate cases like mine, Timothy Evans refused to remove him and in fact he was allowed to jump probate cases into public administration wrongfully. JB Pra has complete knowledge of this. He reappointed the public administrators.

[00:12:03]You all need to understand how bad that is. How bad that is that he would knowingly appoint public administrators that are stealing real estate wrongfully through the probate process over in this area.

[00:12:17]>> Yes. in the Obama Center to aggressively gentrify over here while doing this very illegal act behind our back as black citizens. He came over here or sent people over here that he pays minimal fees, probably a hundred or $150 a day to come and put his campaign signs in the grass over here for for us to vote for him while he knowingly is orchestrating with the public administrators to steal our property.

[00:12:49]That's criminal. the same thing that he did with this CBI money, this criminal violence intervention money, the fact that it's billions of dollars that has been spent on that, but yet the violence won't stop. Nothing is being done. Come to find out, even that picture that JB Pr took with that uh man from the peacekeepers and only to find out that he had a record and I believe that they're saying that he was part of that uh Louis Vuitton snatch and grab that happened right after that. These are the people that JB Crystal is putting in our community, using their faces to get our vote while he's inflicting all type of harm on us in that governor seat. He has to get out. He has to get out. We have to stop letting him buy these elections, letting him as the most uh uh what the most rich politician >> using his money to have these to control these seats.

[00:13:49]You almost it almost looks like he's controlling even the Republican opposition because they're not fighting hard enough. We want Christa to be held accountable for the wrongdoing that he's doing. It's not enough to just sit around and promote abortion rights all day for our folks.

[00:15:18]So, we have to see how we can overhaul all of these things to give kids a chance to give business owners a chance and to also decrease crime. Property crime has skyrocketed. It's skyrocketed.

[00:15:29]Your car and your vehicle are not even safe being parked on the street for a few minutes or even in a Walmart lot.

[00:15:35]These are all things that are deeply concerning for a lot of people. for a single parent, they can't afford to have their cat converter or taken off their vehicle. So, we have to start to push back against these concerns to give Illinoisans a chance and to allow them to live in peace because right now they have no [laughter] and tell to just real quick tell them about your campaign a little bit.

[00:16:01]>> Yes. So, like I said, I'm running for Congressional District One against Jonathan Jackson. And then my entire purpose for running is because I'm hyperfocused on children, safety, and then also prosperity for business owners and people who have a dream. Right now, it's not easy to have an actual dream for your future in Illinois. They penalize business owners and then they also allow for criminals to literally just proliferate throughout the city.

[00:16:23]you are more likely to go to jail for legal for having a gun as a legal citizen than you are if you actually are repeat gun offender in this state. These are things that do not make sense. The safety act did not work and we have politicians selling off our community causing property taxes to go literally through the roof. So, I'm running to see how I can uh support you at the federal level to counteract some of those things.
