Australia has experienced unprecedented migration growth, with nearly one-third of its population now being first-generation migrants born overseas, and Indian migration overtaking English migration for the first time in history; this rapid demographic shift has created significant social and political challenges, including strained infrastructure and political polarization, as the Labor Party has become heavily sectionalized by pandering to specific migrant communities to secure votes, making it reluctant to reduce migration programs despite concerns about social division and lack of political leadership.

India overtakes England as top overseas birthplace amid massive shift in Australian migrationAdded:
Well, let's go to to migration. The issue there, Dan, the IPA's analysis.
Gee, that was instructive. First generation migrants totaling nearly 9 million of us as at June last year. You can see the change there on the screen since 2005. It's fully onethird of our population now are people that were born overseas. But also too in the data, for the first time ever in our history, Indian migration has overtaken migrants from England. in terms of our source country that's also a big change.
>> Yeah, it is. I mean, so much has changed in this country over the last couple of decades when it comes to our population and demographics, both, you know, economically and also socially. I I think the thing that grabbed my attention, Peter, from the data was that we've had more new migrants arrive to our country since the year 2000 than from Federation in 1901 to the year 2000 itself. And so in just a generation, we've had more people come here than the century prior to that. And that's what's causing angst in the community. I mean, you look at the social infrastructure, the housing, the roads and so forth.
Obviously, we've had a lot of social division that's taken place and a complete lack of political leadership.
And the problem that we've really got is this division is now baked into Australia's political system because along with a bulanized society, we have a bulcanized political system. And we know Labor is heavily sectionalized by their pandering to certain migrant communities in order to get votes at the expense of the national interest. And so aside from the economic problems, Labor is loathed to want to cut back on the migration program because they're scared of the the backlash that they would receive in in certain electorates that they rely upon. So we are in a very challenging set of circumstances and unfortunately we're really lacking the political leadership uh to fix some of these issues.
Caroli, the donation of a plane to Pauline Hansen from Gina Reinhard certainly caused a few headlines. Jim Chararma says she's now a wholly owned subsidiary.
I think that's pretty rich. They all use donated planes from the raft. He does it plenty plenty of times himself and we know the defense minister puts his golf clubs in the back. When I looked at this and I looked at the rules, this is an allowed donation. It's fully declared.
It also means there's no cost to the taxpayer for her travel. And it's pretty arrogant, I reckon, because she wants to go to places in remote and regional Australia where there are no scheduled flights. So what's Labour saying that those people are not entitled to to have their say with a politician?
>> Exactly. It's all about controlled honestly. I mean, Pauline Hansen has held her own for more than 30 years in the Australian political spectrum. Let one could say that Labor is a wholly owned subsidiary of the CFMMEU and the Labor Union. I mean that is ridiculous.
Dr. Charas, you don't have time to be commenting on other parties or other politicians. You've created enough issues for normal Australians in this country with your ridiculous policies.
You've got a budget coming up. We're all predicting what will be in it. Don't worry so much about Paulina Hansen. Why would you worry? This is one of the only times in history that I've seen Anthony Albanesei and Jim Charas go on the direct attack after Pauline Hansen. She stuck to her guns for 30 years. People know what she stands for. You don't have to agree with her, but suddenly she's gaining some mileage and it shows that they're getting a little bit worried.
And as I said in Victoria, we've got $15 billion of alleged union corruption that's happened in this state, which the Commonwealth will end up having to bail out, which means every single Australian taxpayer will be liable for this. Fix Australia's problems and stop wasting people's hardearned money and stuffing around with intergenerational bits and pieces that you have no right to do. And I'll just say one other thing. Bill Shorton in 2019 went to the um electorate and said what he was going to do. So did Chris Bowen and said if you don't like for us don't vote for us.
Absolute arrogance of Jim Charas and Anthony Albanes because they have won an election. They've actually said that they won't be touching anything and they're so arrogant and everything they say is a complete backflip. And now they are going to stuff around with people's livelihoods. People have saved hard for the last 30 or 40 years, whether it's superanuation or whatever. They're treating the taxpayer dollars like their own purse when they they don't have a clue what it's like for everybody else out there. So, Jim Charas, don't worry about social media and making comments on Pauline Hansen. Do the job that you're meant to do. Our standard of living is going backwards and I'm fed up of my taxpayer dollars being wasted on these ridiculous green hydrogen renewable schemes that don't work.
>> I will leave it there. There you go. You got your writing instructions. Jim Charvis, thank you to you both. Stonew World Caroli Kabanis
