When political leaders attempt to brand themselves on government institutions and currency, they often face significant public backlash and legal challenges, as demonstrated by Donald Trump's failed attempt to put his face on a $250 bill, which violated US code requiring only deceased individuals' portraits on currency, and sparked widespread criticism from lawmakers and citizens who viewed it as inappropriate vanity rather than patriotism.

Trump Gets NASTY SURPRISE As $250 Bill BACKLASH Goes Viral!Added:
is there's another story in the Washington Post today which on its face has nothing to do with the Department of Justice investigating anybody. It sounds frivolous. It's the Post reports that their advisers within the White House who want to put the president's face on the 200 a new $250 bill. Yep, folks.
Just when you think the bar of idiocracy can't sink any lower, this [ __ ] steps in to say, "Hold my diet coke, bitch."
But that being said, the dumbest living president for now, dementia Donald Jeffrey Trump, got a bit of a nasty surprise after this announcement. And I don't just mean the memes that have exploded online. Now folks, we will get to the outpouring of mockery and outrage that Trump made for himself with this announcement as as well as run down a humiliating list of other things Trump has slapped his face on only to receive the backlash of a proverbial slap in the face. I want money. I want money. And trust me, I saved the best for last.

So, be sure to smash like and subscribe to Really American to remind everyone who this president is really fighting for and also who he's not. Because slapping his face on the $250 bill doesn't do anything to help his own Republican party ahead of the midterms. When there's a headline like this in one of the big national papers, again, what good does this do for a midterm election? If you're a Republican in the House in one of the very few swing districts left, are you like, "Yay, I'm going to run on the $250 bill."
>> Or when people are saying, " $250 is what it costs for me to buy my groceries and I can't afford that right now." It's it's it's the wrong focus. It's similar to the passport.
>> Yeah, seriously, a $250 bill in this economy. Who the hell can even use that?
Sorry, we're not all insider trading or running multibillion dollar memecoin crypto scams. Actually, you know what? I take that back. You know who will get to use this bill? The patriotic cop beating criminals and pedals that storm the capital.
>> Here's the kicker, though. Not only is this act of vanity obnoxious and unnecessary, it's also illegal for the dumbest and funniest reason. The US code clearly states that only the portrait of a deceased individual may appear on the United States currency. Now, personally, I just think he doesn't know or doesn't care about the law. But I can't help but hope maybe he thinks he's going to croak. At least then he could hang with his best friend, who also allegedly kicked the bucket. You had people online dropping memes like this, putting the picture of Trump and Epstein on the $100 bill. Another great one, uh, they should use this one of him quote blinking with him asleep on the $250 bill. and also someone recommending a Z bill with Trump sleeping on it as well.
So naturally, the only people supporting this latest grift are the ones who supported all of them. And there's been a lot. There are Trump sneakers, Trump watches, Trump cologne, Trump coins, and now there is a Trump meme coin. The websites for Trump's and Melania's coins do make clear that a big share of the revenues go toward the Trump family as the family looks to keep profiting off the presidency.
>> And while this list is by no means exhaustive, I do think I've compiled some of the most egregious ones. For instance, remember this one >> that ripped. That page ripped. It was stuck together a little bit. So that one ripped when I was going through it. But so you get the Declaration of Independence. Oh, more ripping on that one.
>> Look at this Bible. Looks like a normal Bible, right?
>> Yeah.
>> Not a normal Bible. Check this out. Bill Rights.
>> Oh, >> Constitution.
>> Yeah.
>> Pledge of Allegiance. It's a The lyrics to God Bless God Bless. No. God bless USA by Lee Greenwood. The song from the '8s, 1984. It came out >> and I'm proud to be an American. Well, at least I know I'm free. It's just a normal Bible, right? I'm going to shove this stuff in there. Boom. And now I'm going to hand it to you and I'm going to sell it to you for $60. How does that sound?
>> Sounds like a ripoff. the rib off.
>> Does it feel like I'm trying to grift you right now?
>> You are.
>> Yeah. Crazy how close to the point they almost were there. Kind of like how Trump was almost close to the point that he needs to be dead in order to be on the money. Unfortunately, that's something that hasn't stopped him from plastering his name on stuff before.
>> And he said that this is akin to Trump trying to put his name on the Lincoln Memorial, making it the Trump Lincoln Memorial. He said, "You can you can call it that, uh, but that is not legal."
Take a listen.
>> The name is protected by federal law and federal statute. And that obviously hasn't changed. So, um, he can call an apple a banana, he can say down is up, or they can say it whatever that is. Um, that doesn't make it make it the case.
This is not just another building. It's not a skyscraper in New York City. It's not something whose name is up for auction. Um, it is a a living legacy to a man who gave his life for our country.
Um, and uh, one would hope that any American, let alone the president, would understand that.
>> Technically, it would take an act of Congress to officially rename the Kennedy Center. Uh, but as you know, Vlad, that is not something that has overly concerned the Trump administration so far, >> right? When has legality or basic human decency ever stopped Donald Trump's megalomaniacal vanity projects, like our next one, for instance? Get ready for your Trumpfaced passport.
>> Donald Trump's portrait soon to appear on a limited number of US passports. No sitting president has ever appeared on a US passport before. Tell us what we know.
>> That's right. This is the latest instance of Donald Trump aggressively plastering his personal stamp across government institutions, documents, and other tributes. Now, to mark 250 years since the Declaration of Independence, in other words, the United States's birthday, the US State Department has revealed it'll be rolling out a series of limited edition passports bearing Donald Trump's face. Now, these special editions will be issued only in Washington, and they'll feature Trump's portrait on the inside cover, surrounded by the text of the Declaration of Independence and his signature rendered in gold uh underneath. Now there are very few precedents anywhere in the world let alone in a democracy uh where we have the sitting leader portrait in the passport but Mark it's not clear whether Americans will be able to opt out of this special edition if they don't want to.
>> So tell us about the reaction to this commemorative passport.
>> Well this decision has attracted a lot of criticism not just from US lawmakers but also average Americans as well. For example, Senator Gillibrand of New York says that Trump is too busy trying to slap his face on everything to lower costs for uh working people or end his war in Iran. A representative for California Mike Leaven said this is not patri patriotism. It is vanity. And multiple lawmakers have taken to social media using the words megamania or megalomaniac to describe uh this announcement.
>> Jesus Christ. No [ __ ] But hey, at least a passport can't be as piss poor of a product as the T1 Trump mobile phone.
>> Hey, Trump supporter here. This goes out to Don Jr. and Eric. WHERE THE IS MY PHONES? I ORDERED THREE, NO, four gold Trump phones in the summer. NOW WE CAN'T GET ANY UPDATES ON THEM.
>> THE TRUMP mobile T1 phone is finally shipped. The first major review called it a urine sample. So, was it worth the wait? CNET managing editor Patrick Holland went on CNN and described the gold finish somewhere between Scrooge McDuck's coin vault, a jar of mustard, and in his words, a urine sample. He also noted that the hardware performs nearly identically to a phone that currently sells on Amazon for $110.
According to Quandre Peak Research, another comparable device is available for free on some carrier plans. But what about those who pre-ordered the phone and still haven't received it? Well, your data might have been leaked.
According to TechCrunch, Trump confirmed it exposed the names, home addresses, phone numbers, and emails of roughly 27,000 pre-order customers directly to the open internet. Right. And last, but certainly not least, folks, we have what will definitely be Trump's crowning achievement, his lasting legacy of his presidency.
