[00:00:08]This was what we saw not only in Albuquerque, but Rio Rancho yesterday.

[00:00:13]Not only a wall of rain, but dust associated with it. Thanks to Chris Kentworthy who sent this in. Look at that outflow boundary from that thunderstorm producing the dust. And look at those mattis clouds likely I would say in the mix occasionally in the dark clouds way off in the distance.

[00:00:30]Chris, thanks. Thank you for sending that in. And you have to be careful when you're outside during those thunderstorms. We saw the reduction in visibility in the Estansia Valley as well yesterday looking from our Sandia Peak time-lapse camera around 103 restaurant. Look at that dust moving through the Asansia Valley yesterday.

[00:00:48]the dark hanging clouds and look at the fog that formed yesterday evening rolling on through around sunset. So, ever since then, we've become even more humid around the peak with some chilly rain on top Sandy Peak this morning and a lot of moisture with a few rounds of storms trickling through the Rio Grandi Valley and a few afternoon storms yesterday and more storms overnight. And look at those storms moving through southeast New Mexico. We did see them blossom yesterday. East New Mexico, a lot of lightning, some flash flooding in southeast New Mexico, now moving into the Peran Basin of West Texas, Roswell, rain this morning. Hobbs, Tatum, and now through Tukum Carry. Some of the storms trickling now back through Santa Fe.

[00:01:32]We're starting to clear out, but that curvature, that upper low, that'll swing on in, bringing in more rain. By the way, the rainiest in months the past 2 days 68 ines of rain so far at the Sunport. The wetest since July 22nd and 23rd of last year. Our May total of rainfall so far 1.03 in that's 67 in above average for the month of May. So a great start in terms of rainfall. By the way, rain is starting to move in in Santa Fe. Six mile visibility, 7 mile visibility in Roswell. We're starting to improve a bit in Hobbs out there. Your air temperature 59, 49 Santa Fe, 55 Albuquerque, 59 Roswell, 45 Alamosa.

[00:02:17]Last check at 32 Wolf Creek. Some probably rain, wet snow in the mix out there. 55 in Farmington. Look at that sneaky chilly Gallup. 39 56 at TRC, 49 Silver City. A decent amount of rainfall around parts of southwest New Mexico yesterday. Today warmer in the upper 80s in Deming near 80 in Sakordo in Silver City and high 70s in Albuquerque low to mid70s Santa Fe high 70s near 80 in Carlsbad 60s in Raton toa Alamosa so we'll be cooler if you guys are attending the isotopes game today as they take on the El Paso Chihuahua was the first pitch at 6:35 we may drop in the high 60s low 70s with storms possible muggy conditions gusty conditions out there is a marginal chance of flash flooding along the central mountains to the east and a slight chance of flash flooding in far eastern areas of Lee County, meaning a few storms may be capable of producing runoff rainfall in the royos, the streets, by the way, the burn scars around Rudoso. And we do notice there is that slight chance of severe weather with also the potential of reduction visibility with the rain, the dust, the hail, the frequent lightning. Those storms will start to weaken moving to the northeast this later part of the morning. Still some light to moder showers moving away. But as the sun comes back out, daytime heating producing storms with shifting winds aloft and gusty winds from the outflow boundaries at the surface around the Capitan, Oregon mountains, Sacramento mountains. More storms in the northern Rioani Valley to the northeast highlands. Snow in the high elevations.

[00:03:45]Storms moving to the east, clipping Albuquerque, and moving through Santa Fe this evening. Starting to weaken as they move through after sunset with only a few storms left over. As that low pressure moves away, drier air moves back into the New Mexico area on your hump day Wednesday. Storms left over in the central mountains to the east. Fire weather alerts, by the way, in effect for Wednesday in Dove Creek all the way to Agnosio. And we will be seeing those temperatures warming back up Thursday.

[00:04:14]By the way, those storms out east may produce gusty outflow, easterly winds.

[00:04:20]Farmington, Galp, and Cuba, high 60s, low 70s for today. 80s and low 90s eventually late in the week. Glenwood to the south, 80s today, drier compared to yesterday. Low 90s Thursday and Friday.

[00:04:31]And despite storms moving away eventually tomorrow in Roswell, the more storms late this week will produce alpha wind boundaries moving through Katzoso.

[00:04:39]70s for today as well as Tukum Cara in the 60s. Kapalene in the low 60s and all the way from the northern northern mountain communities to Espanola ranging from near 16 Red River to 70s Espanola and Santa Fe. Sandia Park, Mountain Air, storms still likely nearby when thunder roars go indoors from the north to south valley of Albuquerque. Hello 70s. Our average high 84 closer to that Thursday.
