Break🔥Asantehene met Businessmen in Poland after Golf TrainingAdded:
Your majesty, >> these are the philanthropist, entrepreneurs, you know, from different uh businesses uh blockchain, mobile, uh vending, uh fashion, uh defense, dual use, >> so many things, >> so many [laughter] construction. I think Pre is a good guy to to I will introduce him during tomorrow conference. uh how Ghana is welcoming specifically construction businesses.
investors, any business, willing because of Video evidence in the name of based on Wow. [music] >> [music] [music] >> THANKSGIVING.
[music] [music] >> [music] [music] >> YES, >> that's it. [music] [music] Heat. Heat.
[music] Yeah. [music] [music] [music] [music] Hallelujah.
Nice.
[music] [music] [music] >> Yes. So now is the most important part of the exhibition and the story behind is linked to Dan Cohen and the floor is yours.
>> Yes. So that is the curator of the exhibition. So what we decided to do is to place these two paintings uh as you walk in.
>> There's two portraits both speaking about identity and both of them uh have a very strong message. One is by Allah Ghanian artist at the moment best sold Ghanian artist in the world. One of the best sold artist in the world actually and the other one is of best sold polishing artist. So there are like top names in terms of the art market but also uh both represented by famous galleries. So very difficult to to to to get is speaking about identity of black people and he refers to his situation where he came to study Indiana and fell out of place there and he started he created his distinguished style where he paints the skin with his fingertips. So it's very distinguished from the background. Uh Eva Kibich is painting women um refers to the old painting to the old masters but what she does is she covers their faces with hair with plants so that she presents portraits of women with faces. beautiful pieces. For example, this piece by Polish artist from Kraco is made of porcelain, very delicate. He made everything by hand. Um, and later on he was putting the pieces together step by step. And the tree, as you can see, stays white, crispy, beautiful, and delicate. However, there is this uh red liquid here which can be connected to something a little bit disturbing, maybe a fear, but the roots are covered with the red liquid, but they do not upsell the apple. So, three stage pristine will go under the cover main. So, we were preparing this exhibition for more than 11 months.
>> So, there is the artistic council, the group of very distinguished people, art experts. Yeah. We're choosing when asked which work of art would go under the cover. So that's why the presentation of our Ibrahim Mama fantastic by Ibrahim Mama actually never donates never to donate because he has his own projects charity projects but for us he made the exception because we also support uh and uh he created this work especially for us. is from the leftover fabrics of wax print that we found in Acra on the market. As usual, his practice is to reuse something that's not the same as the the the same artist as the the sculpture that was outside.
Um yes. Uh so uh we'll use two words actually. Uh Philip Cber is a British artist in London and Philip is the author of the beautiful sculpture out there. So we have something more uh of um popups very lucky because we got a donation of Constantin work uh the father of the modernists when it comes to sculpture the most famous sculptures who turned the sculpture into the modern form and actually recently a week ago uh his uh sculpture was sold in Christ during adoption for uh 107 million US dollars.
It's called the light of the mind. So you can see the red ball, the gold ball at the end is the light, it's the mind, it's the idea and you can see a person here who really is at the very end of the journey, the end of the struggle.
And uh it shows how much effort and work you need to put in something to create something beautiful and meaningful. And we also believe it refers to our organization our foundations because whatever we do we we try to put as much of it as possible being surrounded by this uh you know being presented next to next to grain it's a can be a game changer can be something very important for them we want to as foundation want to be a platform for young artists we want to help them out we have problems with our own solutions I say that we are supporting is one of the most important artists actually in Poland. She had a exhibition in plain water. Usually she she does sculptures of humans but is a representation of humanities still very much ground to the ground.
This is two important work of art which are connected very close to original is a Nigerian artist who who portrayed in here two horses in a beautiful stunning moment of a kiss during the auda festival that's happening in Nigeria. So there is a lot of things happening dynamic color and uh she she just wanted to capture the beautiful stories Polish artist who's been going to Kenya for several years to help to support the school there to help. He met Ero. This is a project of Ero. Ero make a big impact on him because Ero was a fantastic beautiful person with a big smile volunteer teaching children math helping um and one year after the artist created this portrait. Ero unfortunately died. So he was left with this portrait of his dear friend um to warn him. And actually a week ago um mother of >> flew here to Poland from Kenya. It was the first time that she got on a plane, the first time that she left her country and she came here to make a tribute to make up putting efforts working.
>> Polish artist, daughter of very famous Polish artist presents in her work Alsa who's a witch from um yes who who a witch from Ludicariosto's po is turning her lovers into animals. So you can see her.
>> So you can see her she turned her lovers into animals. She's packs uh you know which were used for transportation of uh of cocoa of coil of um of imported goods. Of course it refers to the transport between uh Africa and Europe.
It refers to the very dark history but again reusing the elements that are no longer useful. And as you walk in a beautiful piece by um one of our favorites >> most important part of this exhibition which is actually the common name of our this year's season of fury because it's rooted in our so we want to present in front of Polish audience international guest uh where is the beginning of our foundation where is the beginning of our mission uh and we want to present the true about the beauty of the heritage legacy uh culture in Africa. So Miss Monica spent few weeks in Kumasi and she will really briefly talk about uh this part of the exhibition. Yeah. And we must say that people who are just entrancing here exhibition directly go right and want to see this and they want to get to know what's going on. What's the what's the message hidden behind really? Maybe Monica could also say how what are the reactions of people when they do around here >> because Monica is passing the information now maybe in a very short way we can present because um your mother's going to judge is the >> story is dedicated to her royal families and it speaks about the high status and uh and 12 then we have Obama Maka that was created to honor the visit of Barack Obama in Kasi. And at the very bottom we have Adas. Yes. That says all fingers are not the same and talks about the differences between.
>> Thank you so much.
>> Thank you.
which I have loved last year in Africa artist.
>> Yes, this is one of my favorite artist from Ghana Cornelius.
Yeah, Cornelius.
Yes, >> very good artist. very good artist and he was chosen by the Neo and Neo is her really good um her art creator. She's supposed to do this is this is one of our student who we support from the stud was also one of our artist who represent ouratic during move in >> these are the philanthropist entrepreneurs you know from different uh businesses uh blockchain train, mobile, uh, vending, uh, fashion, uh, defense, dual use, >> so many things, >> so many [laughter] >> construction. I think Pre is a good guy to to I will introduce him during tomorrow conference. Uh, how Ghana is uh, welcoming specifically construction businesses uh, and and like opening tenders for European companies. So uh Rafal who is like uh in charge of the largest entrepreneurial organization and more than happy to organize I think specifically a kind of dedicated topic for the Polish entrepreneurs. So all in all like um right people big hearts supporting toa and our top charity uh and all with handicap below 30. [laughter] So your majesty, thank you for >> coming here. We have a promise that you want to come and conquer the golf course. Uh yeah, Charles. Yeah, we are we are making that once again for sure.
Uh great uh great golf course and I think Poland is like warmly welcoming.
Uh you your majesty. So um do we have >> [music] >> I don't [music] slow up. No, I don't take I got no love for the fakess.
If you want to play tough and want to hate this, I'll always show up.
>> I don't never slow up. [music] No, I don't take I got no love for the fakess. If you want to [music] play tough and want to hate this, I'll always show up and make a statement. I don't never slow up. No, [music] I don't take I got no love for the fake. If you want to play tough [music] and want to hate this, I'll always show up and make a statement. Everything I do so instinctive and so passionate. Every word I move so descriptive like an adjective. I [music] got a vendetta against people who patent it. Being negative when you should be getting after it. I got facts over facts [music] over tracks. This and that. Spitting slow, spitting fast like a roast, like a gas. Think I'm okay at last. But I don't know [music] if that can erase all the past and the pettiness, a reflection of the emptiness. Hilarious. You think you're worth my time. You're delirious, [music] mysterious, because you find behind a fake exterior. Inferior. You know, I'll always be a bit superior.
[music] Get off of me. This ain't no humble brag. I want you to hear words you can say them back. I want you to feel free from the chains that last. And to believe in what you [music] got, it was built to last. Yeah.
Now that I've been put through hell, I never got anyone's [music] help. I had to do it all myself.
I don't never slow up. [music] No, I don't take I got no love for the fake. If you want to [music] play tough and want to hate this, I'll always show up and make a statement. I don't never slow up. No, I don't take I got no [music] love for the fakess. If you want to play tough and want to hate this, I'll always show up and make a statement. You want to learn [music] the consequence of being incompetent. Mental health is confidence. Dreams and some modestness. I'm not here to save the day. That's for you to take away. I could play a million mind games, but instead of say something not illogical, something that is typical. [music] Rub it on and watch you go. Make yourself unstoppable. Things are irresponsible.
But they're always possible. If you just believe, you could be so remarkable.
Thoughts in my [music] head, a collage, and they spread. I'll be great one day.
