Some people thought the place was cursed. [music] Some people thought there was a creature under the ice, but the truth is honestly just [music] weird. Deep under Antarctica, there's an ancient lake trapped under the ice for millions of years and inside that water, tiny microbes survive by eating rocks [music] and releasing iron waste. So, when that water finally comes out and touches oxygen, it instantly turns dark red [music] like blood. So, no, Antarctica is not bleeding. It's basically just ancient microbes taking the biggest rusty piss of all time.
