[00:02:29]>> Uh well, Anisha, right now the situation is pretty calm because ED officials have uh you know left the residence and only party workers and media are outside Pundra Vijayan's residence. But 5 minutes ago that was not the case. There were multiple hundreds of party workers who had gathered outside Pundra Vijay's residence. They were raising slogans when the ED officials were leaving the residence. uh the police tried to create a barricade and rest restrict the workers from going near the ED officials. Uh but uh they could not you know keep that barricade for a long time. The workers initially began a clash with the police. There was a push and pull. Later it escalated into a very dramatic situation in which the ED's vehicles have been vandalized. Three of the ED vehicles official vehicles have been vandalized in the uh clash that broke out. Very dramatic scenes that unfolded. Uh at the same time Vijan was seen coming out of his residence to the party workers running to him greeting him with slogans saying that uh you know whatever whoever tries to attack whatever uh in from whatever direction we as a party stand together is what the slogans that were raised by the party workers but absolute chaotic scenes in fact these were the similar in scenes that we witnessed in Kandur and Kor also in Kandur Prains in Kandur residents also there were ED raids that were conducted two hours ago when the when the raids got over the ED officials struggled did a lot to get out. They had to call in the CPM leadersh in Can hold a discussion with them and only later they could come out after the party workers uh what party workers went and stood on the side. Uh so similar arrangements were made here also but at a point it became very uncontrollable at a point the party leaders could not control the cadders as they raised slogans and they ran to the ED vehicles.

[00:04:08]uh not just raising slogans but also uh resorting to extreme steps like vandalizing the uh ED vehicles.

[00:04:15]>> All right. Uh Shibi, we saw the kind of violence that was committed. Uh we're also looking at what Pinar Vijan has said. How are you seeing this entire episode that has happened and what exactly are we picking up from the ED and from the government sources?

[00:04:38]Uh well uh you know this is in connection with the CMRL case. CMRL uh and Excelogic case. So Excelogic is an IT firm that was that's owned by Pindra Vijay's daughter Vijay. In fact there was a case registered two years ago that uh uh the Excelogic was in an agreement with CMRl to uh rent IT services to the company. uh the case is that despite not giving any services uh a certain amount was transferred to her account to the Exologic account. The investigation was surrounding the financial regularities in in the CMRL accounts and uh uh as a continuation of that a case was registered in which Excelic and Vina Vijay was also uh you know included. Uh following which the SFI the serious fraud investigation officer office and also ED had also launched an investigation. uh it is following that uh uh you know this ED raid was conducted today. It is in the backdrop of this case uh that the ED raids were conducted. What Pinay Vijan was the chief minister back then said was uh this is a very legal agreement that his daughter's company had entered into with the uh with the CMRL. So there is uh this is political vendetta involving central agencies is a political vendetta against the opposition rule uh chief ministers and the opposition leaders across the country. This is a follow-up of it is what chief Pendra Vijun was the chief minister back then said. Uh now uh the workers here are also getting a little emotional saying that you know when you know the party lost power after being in power for 10 years. So if you think that uh the the party can be weakened using a central agency then we're not going to let is what the party workers and that's one of the reason also we saw very emotional very uh you know uh uncontrollable scenes taking place uh in uh in this in Thirand not just in Kore also there were raids conducted at CPM leader residence there also the ED officials could not get out of the houses uh could not get out of >> I'm going to have to interrupt you here we're getting some more breaking news coming in ED team.

[00:06:39]ED team attacked outside Van's house left workers vandalized ED vehicles and ED officials held hostage and ED now says they will move an FIR over the attack at Pinere Vijayan's house.

[00:06:54]Remember left workers threw stones and helmets at the ED team did not leave them did not allow them to leave for quite a few minutes. Now ED is saying they will file an FIR on this issue.

[00:07:14]Manish Pande, what are you picking up from the enforcement director? What exactly are they saying?

[00:07:21]Well Amisha at this point of time the senior officials in Delhi are in touch with those who are in uh who were involved in the searches at linked to Pinari Vijam and others and as far as the attack on ED team is concerned.

[00:07:36]Sources within the enforcement state have told India today that uh they will be approaching police and they will file an FIR against those who were involved in attacking not only the uh ED officials but also uh they created such a recurs that >> all right Manish I'm sorry I'm going to have to interrupt you here I'm being joined now by Tom Vadakan of the BJP Tom Vakan thank you very much for speaking to India today uh how are you viewing this entire episode that has happens. Uh the ED has raided the former chief minister of Kerala Pinay Vijan's residents workers of the party saying uh uh stopping the blocking the ED officials saying that this is a political vendetta because just days after the government changed this ED team has been raided. Tom Barak >> this is not acceptable.

[00:08:32]The ED team should be should be investigating this issue. The penian should have been cooperating with them instead of using his workers to create this ruckus.

[00:08:46]and the ED has rightly filed an FIR and action should be taken against all those involved because ED is an institution which investigates and when they investigate and they find solid proof of uh malified then they act. So it is therefore important that Pinay Vijan or anybody else for that matter and particularly Pinay Vijan who was the former chief minister of Kerala should abide by the law instead of taking a page from Ma and her classical methods of evading ED and attacking the ED. Now finally uh Ma has uh faced the music and so has pin that's so no there's no sense in following those course of action because the constitution is clear yet the attack on the ED is just not acceptable.
