When political leaders depart, the key to maintaining party unity is having a clear succession plan and replacing removed elements with positive alternatives rather than leaving voids that can be filled by worse elements; this principle applies to both political movements and broader organizational contexts.

Democrats Have NO ONE for 2028... But Who Follows Trump for Republicans?追加:
How are you, my friend?
>> Glenn, I'm fine. I mean, if you want me to get a guy that can get you some propol, I have to make a couple calls, but I think we can get it shipped to you somehow. I think you have to administer, but uh >> I'm sure you can. Yeah. I mean, I I you know, geez, there have been nights that I've just been like, propall would be so good. I understand Michael Jackson. I strangely I understand him. Um anyway, uh how you doing, Dave?
>> It's good to see you, my friend. that you know I'm fine as every time I see you I think I say the same thing for the last you know probably two plus years which is my life is good what happens in the in the four walls of my home and with my family and and my colleagues and things like that is all good the state of the world is just wacky and that's what people come to us for so I guess let's dissect it >> I know I know the the most important things we will ever do will be in the four walls of our homes so it's all that really matters um >> so let me uh can I start with can I just be my nickname years ago used to be oblivio because I'm oblivious to so much. Okay, just oblivious to so much. Um there is a tweet that uh came out of Tel Rico Terico, sorry, Terico uh in a in a Texas flag shirt eating a turkey leg. First of all, the guy has on record saying he's a vegan. He doesn't like meat. He's eating a turkey. I think this whole what I saw in this is here's a guy almost mocking um uh Texans. You know, this is what Texans really look like. So, I'm going to pretend I'm one of them. Um however, Ricky, who is absolutely debased, she is she's not a good human being. She she comes in uh and she's like, "This this is a this is appealing to, let's say, nonsisgendered uh voters." And I'm like, "What are you even talking about?" And she said, "Your rumor is, you know, he says he has a girlfriend, yada yada." I have no gaydar. I think she's I think she's an abomination, Ricky. I think she's probably going to spend more time in hell than most of us and in a deep >> I've always liked her but okay you know >> what's your gayar say on him and what is there is she is she just going to hell or does she have a point on this >> you know I must say this is very strange I got a text from Billy Bush broadcaster Billy Bush yesterday asking me about my gaydar on Terico if this is what the remainder of my career is going to be just figuring out who and who is isn't gay. Well, I have a very long career in politics, but I don't know that this is what I signed up for. Um, look, I don't know if this guy is gay there. Look, there's obviously some weird stuff when he tells you that Jesus is non-binary and that there are six genders and there's this, yeah, there is a slight affeminite thing to him, but you know, Glenn, look, there are affeminite guys who are straight and there are straight acting guys or masculine guys who are gay and all of those things. So, to me, that's not so important.
>> I feel better about myself.
Yes, Glenn. As far I've known you quite well for many years at this point and I can confirm to the to the listeners that you are straight as far as I know.
>> First, let me tell you about real estate agents I trust. Let me tell you a little secret about real estate. The housing market doesn't care how you feel. It doesn't care that you think your house is worth a certain number because you love the kitchen. It doesn't care that you saw the house three streets over selling for something crazy last spring.
And it definitely doesn't care that you need a certain price to make your next move work. The market responds to timing. It responds to inventory, interest rates, local demand, which is why you need somebody who actually understands these things to help you.
Real estate agents I trust is a network of experienced, vetted professionals who know your market inside and out. They know how to price strategically. They know how to negotiate. Most importantly, they know how to tell you the truth, even when it's not the easiest thing to hear. Go to real estate agents.com.
We vet every single one of these people to make sure they're the right person to help you sell or buy a house in this market. Real estate agents.com.
>> No, no, no. I mean, I just I thought I feel better because I didn't think there was anything to this. I didn't see it that way. And then Ricky comes in, you know, with >> I thought I thought this was I thought this was just a crazy ruse to get me to affirm your straightness, but okay. In any event, >> no, no, no. All right, let me ask you.
>> Yes.
>> Let me ask let me ask you a couple of things. There is another thing that was put out. Um Steven Miller, he shows this picture of Terico and he says, "Democrats made history in Texas by nominating their first transgender state senate candidate." Okay, funny. Okay, but the response from the Democrats, the Democratic party was, "Shut up, you ugly f."
And I can see that coming from personalities. I can see that. I could see Donald Trump even saying that this was the Democratic party.
That tells me they believe their constituent is a lot different than I think what most Democrats think the other voters that vote like them are.
>> Yeah, I think that's a good point to that. No, because in this case, you know, look, the we live in the world of the internet and social media and there's trolling back and forth and Trump obviously says colorful things about people and we've all been through all those things. But there is definitely a level that now is being achieved by the Democrats where they're constantly, if you note lately, Democrats constantly on the stumps uh stump speeches are saying the f-word.
They're they're doing this soft kind of, you know, soft shoeing around violence where it's sort of okay that Brian Thompson, the United Healthcare CEO, was killed by Luigi Manion or, you know, Charlemagne, the God, I hate calling him that, his real name is Lenny, the radio guy, he, you know, after the last assassination attempt on Trump basically said, well, I can understand why people would do it. So, they really are changing all the norms. And and the crazy thing about the Tarico situation is you have to remember his primary was against Jasmine Crockett who was as bananas lefty as you could get. And he said, "Hold my beer. I'll show you what bananas lefty is in Texas."
>> In Texas, it would be one thing if this was happening in Cali. We would all be like, "Okay, they had a they had a kind of crazy lefty and they went a little crazier." But it's really But Glenn, think about it this way. This is what they do in their prim in their primaries. And then when you have a bad lefty, you get a worse one. Think about Chicago. They had Lori Lightoot, as bad lefty as you can get. Now they have Brandon Johnson, the Jasmine Crockett, Terarico thing. You had uh what's his name in uh you had Garcetti who was a terrible lefty in LA. Then you got Karen Bass. There are so many examples. You had Delasio and then Eric Adams in New York and now you end up with Mami. So, for some reason, and this is something that uh our friend Jordan Peterson was talking about for years, the left never knows when the left goes too far. So, everyone's always trying to out crazy themselves. And congratulations, you've now ended up with Taller Rico.
>> In Texas in Texas.
>> I know, I know, I know, I know. Um let me let me switch to uh Dantis and to uh Donald Trump leaving um in this way. in um in the Bible in Ma I think it's Matthew, book of Matthew, um Jesus tells this story about you know somebody who chases an evil spirit out um and uh and then the spirit goes out and it's wandering and it comes back and finds that that guy hadn't replaced it hadn't cleaned he cleaned out his house but he hadn't replaced it with anything and so it goes back in but this time it goes back in with seven more spirits It's worse than the first spirit. And I I feel like we've chased bad guys out, but we're not necessarily replacing them with anyone. Who are we going to replace Dantis and and Donald Trump with? What happens when these guys leave?
Because we could get seven more that are much worse than what we chased out prior to.
>> Yeah. I mean, the key to that is realizing that you have to have some kind of plan of secession and no matter how good things may be in Florida and you're a new Floridaian resident, you see how great things are. I saw you a couple months ago and you were just beaming about how much you love it here and there's reasons for that. Um, look, from a Florida perspective, you know, in terms of the next governor, it likely I would say there's probably about an 80% chance that it's going to be Byron Donald's who, you know, I've interviewed many times. I've hung out with him. I think he's a good guy. He's done a nice job in Southwest Florida, you know, Naples area as a congressman. I think he's really good on television, and I think he will likely continue much of the the Dantis agenda. It's probably him. It might be another great guy. We have Jay Collins, who's former military vet, who is the lieutenant governor right now, who I think would be completely in line with uh with Dantis.
He has a much more uphill battle because Byron Donald just has great name recognition and he's all over the media all the time. Florida. Also, keep in mind Florida got 2.3 million residents since CO and we've now seen the numbers.
I mean, they are voting red, red, red.
When Dantis took over, I think there were a couple hundred thousand more Democrats than Republicans in Florida.
And now it's over a million more Republicans. So, Florida, I think for the next, let's say, five, six plus years, I think, will be just fine. On the national stage, look, the Republicans, I think Trump's going to want a contested convention. I I don't think they're just going to hand this to JD in a conventional way. I think obviously every you know almost everyone right now is high on Rubio. So you have competent people. You've got Rubio, you've got JD, maybe Dantis gets involved again. Who knows? Could HGset throw his name? I mean there there's enough people there that whether you agree with all of them or maybe you like this one on this and that one on that.
There's enough people that I think most of us who are right leaning would say, "Hey, this is a good crop of people and and let them fight it out and I I think that's what Trump's going to want. I I think he's going to want a show to hand over his legacy. Maybe Junior gets involved. I mean, who knows?
>> I think Tulsi Gabbard is a name that you should throw in there.
>> I think Tulsi Gabbard is >> Absolutely. Absolutely. You know, obviously her husband's dealing with some health stuff right now, so they have to see how that shakes out. But, you know, Tel Tulsi, this is someone who was a Democrat congresswoman who was who ran for president as a Democrat. you know, she me and her, we have a a sort of familiar uh kind of roadway to becoming Republicans, let's say. Um she's really she's wellliked, you know, and there's going to be different factions in the Republican party and they're going to fight it out.
>> So, where does this end? You you know, um Dave, you and I have talked several times the the right is just dividing itself. Got to stop dividing ourselves.
Um but it's just dividing itself. this breaking up and how does this end? What do what will bring us all back together?
Is that possible?
>> Well, yeah. I mean, you know, unfortunately, the way the world works or humanity works generally, the things at this point that could probably bring us together are are real tragedies and and horrible events. So, let's let's pause on that for a second. Um, you know, in terms of the division, you know, if you look at Trump's last 118 endorsements, as I'm sure you know, he's won all 118 of them. Now, some of them were easy primaries and whatever, but this is gubernatorial, this is Senate, and this is the House. So, the idea that Trump that that MAGA is seriously divided, I think it plays well online, and I'm not sure how much actual traction it gets. You know, Glenn, even some of the guys that you you and I used to be close colleagues with that have gone in this other direction that are attacking Trump constantly and going after him on the war and Epste and stuff and all this stuff. Their numbers are not doing great right now. I don't think numbers are the ultimate arbiter. I think truth is the ultimate arbiter. But I don't sense that things are as divided as they think. Even if you look at the Massie race, which was the most contested, Trump's backed candidate Ed Galleran won and won by a lot. And it would have been an aberration had Massie won after going against Trump. So Trump still has control of the party. There's going to be fighting online for sure and and maybe we need to make better arguments about certain things. Uh I think that's possible. Um, but I also think that the the real white pill right now is that the Democrats are so out of control, partly from what you just showed before with the language, but also the, you know, Mami talking about asset seizure, the crazy race in LA where people are realizing how bad Karen Bass is, that as we roll towards the midterms, you know, after our 250th anniversary, the Iran war will wrap up one way or another, gas prices will go down, that I think people will be feeling, boy, all right, maybe there's some things that I didn't like about Trump or I wasn't thrilled with war or this or that or the other thing, but I'm not going full communist and that's what they're offering at this point. And Americans are not communists. Americans are not communists.
>> Hopefully, hope hopefully >> for now.
>> Um you I I want I have to take a quick one minute break and then come back and I want to talk to you about something.
You invited me to um to join you on something. Unfortunately, I'm traveling.
I've just so much travel in my schedule here in the last in the next few months.
Um, but you are doing something at the Filillmore in Miami Beach. And Dave, as much as I love you and I love the people who are coming on stage, you should have said, Glenn, it's at the Fillmore. The Fillmore is known as the Jackie Gleason stage >> at the Jackie Gleason Theater. Yeah.
>> Oh my gosh. I am the biggest fan of Jackie Gleason. Just to be able to stand on that stage where Jackie Gleason stood, it would be a dream come true.
Thank you for thinking for yourself and being part of a movement because that's really what all of this is. If you want the full story, you want to go deeper, go to blazetv.com/glenn.
Go there right now. Sign up. No interruptions, just the truth.
Uncensored and unfiltered. Don't just watch. Take a stand. And I'll see you over there in a minute.
