[00:00:23]Guys, welcome to my channel. Many saving Megan. How are you guys today? Hope you're doing amazing. I wanted to come to you with a Saturday Dollar Tree haul.

[00:00:33]Um, I am going to in the next clip talk a little bit about the surgery cuz some of you guys were curious what I did, what happened, and um, I'm just going to give you like a brief overview. If you have questions, feel free to ask them in the comments section. I'll be more than happy to reply. I usually always do. I'm just sitting on the couch watching TV, so I have nothing else to do but to reply, so I'll be on it. Um, and if you guys are new, welcome. I'm so happy you're here. Hope you enjoy this Dollar Tree haul of all these new fabulous finds. And if you don't want to hear about the surgery, that's fine. Skip the clip and then get into the haul. All right, see you at the Dollar Tree. Okay, just to make everything clear, I did have a vaginal total hysterctomy. Now, total usually means everything. It's everything but my ovaries. They left my ovaries. They were healthy. There was nothing wrong with them. Why not continue getting my hormones? I don't need to be pushed in to menopause sooner than my body and my I'm supposed to. I had an amazing doctor, like a top-notch doctor that um was very hard to get. I waited 9 months, 10 months to get on his surgery schedule and I just toughed it out till then because he has an excellent background. He's amazing and it was seamless and flawless and I know I'm going to do great. So, I'm going to go into this with positive attitude. I was very scared. Yes. Have I ever had a surgery? No. I am a healthy person. I might be a little overweight, but I am a very like healthier person.

[00:02:19]Like everything but my iron was good.

[00:02:21]You know what I mean? And there was stuff going on in the uterus, but I had two kids and I had a pregnancy before that I lost the baby twice. So, my body, you know, the uterus has been through some stuff, okay? So, it didn't need to be there anymore or cause me any mischief. So, I decided that it was the best for my body. The doctor um went over everything with me and it was probably the best decision even though I was really scared. I've never been put under. I've never been intubated before.

[00:02:54]Nothing like that. It was scary for me because you don't know how what can go wrong. But I will tell you, my doctor was so awesome. He's like, "What kind of music do you like?" I'm in the operating room. I'm like, "What do you mean? I'm laying there like at your mercy, you know, and I have to tell you the story.

[00:03:13]So, and I'm like, "What do you mean?"

[00:03:16]And he's like, I'm like, "I like 80s, R&B, some Nicki Minaj, some Cardi B, you know, and he starts playing the music because he says he likes music when he does his operations." So, the last thing I remember was listening to some Cardi B before I got operated on. I I woke up and the doctor was right there and I was like, "Oh, doctor cuz I was trying to get out from anesthesia and I'm all like rubbing on him." It was so funny. But anyways, wasn't like that. But you know, you're like coming out. You're like trying to figure out what's going on.

[00:03:50]Uh, keep planning for a cause took me.

[00:03:52]She stayed there with me. Um, she waited for me and her and her husband helped me up the stairs. I did walk. I did leave.

[00:04:02]Now, they usually will keep they don't they keep you under certain circumstances. They didn't need to keep me. It was a surgery and out like done and out. So, basically, long story short, um and I did I was going to make a whole video, but because people are talking so much crap, I'm just going to like keep it short and easy and we'll just move on. So, um, you know, they put all the IVs, they did, they went over everything with me.

[00:04:33]Like, I had my surgery done at Kaiser.

[00:04:37]Um, great care team. A great surgery care team. Like hands down, I'm very blessed to have the doctors, the nurses, the insurance, you know, my job that, you know, covers my insurance and all of that. So now it's just healing and getting better. Um, I'm excited to not feel so tired all the time and have my energy back and I'm excited for all that. So, um, if you guys have ever thought about doing this type of surgery or maybe, um, in needing it, I was really scared, but I'm Everyone told me I'm going to be happy and I was dreading it.

[00:05:25]I was like, I'm going to cancel. Mel's like, "No, you're not. I drove you here.

[00:05:28]You are having this surgery."

[00:05:31]It was funny. But yeah, I went through with it obviously because I knew I had to. I just didn't want to cuz the whole thing about having surgery is scary. It is. It's not like, "Oh, hey, let's go.

[00:05:45]We're having surgery today." No, I don't know who thinks like that, but if you do, then more power to you cuz I wasn't trying to do that. Um, so that's just a little brief about everything.

[00:05:58]Um, if you guys have questions, you can put it in the comment section and I can voice you a reply. No worries. I just didn't want to go all crazy into it cuz some people have no interest. And there was a lot of people just making negative comments that I just don't want to hear cuz I could care less about that. I don't I'm not going to feed into it or entertain it as you know I could say.

[00:06:26]But um you know people always have something to say. So with that being said, we're going to go ahead and start this haul.

[00:06:40]Okay, I haven't got my nails done. I haven't been anywhere. I've been home since Wednesday. Today's Saturday. I'm not intending to go anywhere this weekend or next week. I'm staying home.

[00:06:55]Like, I'm not doing anything. I just want my body to adjust and heal. Um, so I do have a ton of stuff to halt. So, I'm like, I'll just divide my haul up.

So, I found white ones, which we needed more of, and I got some burgundy ones, like a rustic red color. And this will go with my Halloween um bedding that I have. And I think it's Joker.

[00:10:53]So you guys all know the books are what $125 now.

[00:10:59]So it was totally worth it. And I thought that, you know, I mean, in my 20s, I often felt like I was in survival mode. I felt unsafe, unprotected the majority of the time. My nervous system was out of whack. And I was constantly having to calm myself down. That's why I was drinking a lot.

[00:11:21]That's why I was promiscuous. Remember that song, permiscuous? Okay. And that's why I was overeing. All these things were acts of self soothing and self-regulating.

[00:11:34]Sounds like a really good book. I was very interested in so I picked this up.

[00:11:41]I'm definitely going to read it.

[00:11:48]All right. Next up are my cumin s uh seasonings. And then I got Ethan the chicken winner seasoning because he used the rest of the other one on the chicken legs when he cooked for me last.

[00:12:11]I also picked up the Kingsford garlic and herbs allpurpose seasoning.

[00:12:21]So we love this stuff.

[00:12:23]Don't forget to scan your receipts. As you could tell, I do a lot of shopping at the Dollar Tree.

[00:12:31]Um, >> the Mossy Oak boxer briefs, those were $1.50. Okay. I couldn't remember if I paid $1.25 or $1.50.

[00:12:43]Scan them for fetch rewards. You'll get your points. If you're not familiar with what that is, you scan all the receipts.

[00:12:52]It's kind of like you're getting free money. You gain all these points and then you could pick like if you want movie tickets or if you want an Amazon gift card. So it'll like 10,000 points is $10, you know. Um Oh, my ear itches. Um or something um from the list that they have. They also do electronic receipts. So, if you hook your Amazon account, your email, anything electronically that comes through, you could get points for that, too.

[00:15:04]I like cleaning my windows with them. I clean the bathroom with them. and they are a little more durable where I don't have to keep a rag and then wash it and reuse it. I can use it to the point where whatever I'm cleaning is clean and then I toss it. Um, but yeah, these are great. They're thicker and they're they're more durable.

[00:18:09]And then, okay, so let's talk about this cream. I did buy another one. I'm so freaking happy. This is the Kyo Eye Cream Dual Action Formula. Hold on.

[00:18:21]Okay, this is the Kyio eye cream dual action vitamin C hyaluronic acid dark circle cream. Here's the ingredients. It has beeswax in there. does have glycerin, which isn't the greatest. Does have alcohol, sodium hyaluronate extract. It's got some stuff that I've heard, eh, but here it is. So, with that being said, my son scanned it. It's what 57 57 and it says poor. Okay, I'm not going to lie, but I've been using it on my eyes and it's been brightening my eyes. Now, I don't have an issue with it. It doesn't irritate my skin. It seems to be doing what it says it's doing. I don't know if I always believed that those apps. The packaging's really cool. It targets fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, puffy eyes, and crows feet. and that I feel it definitely does, especially with the darkness here. It's lightened mine up immensely. So, I'm going to continue using it. And this is the packaging and I love it.

[00:19:42]Okay, next up is this is the Kai Blush palette that I'm really excited about and I'm going to try this soon. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm going to try it. I got one from me and I think I got Ameilia the contour.

[00:21:58]And it does spray nice. It sprays evenly. I will say it's like a nice mist.

[00:22:04]And I'll never forget Twisted Gypsy. She was like, "I did my all my makeup just to spray this stuff and get my face wet." And I started cracking up cuz it literally makes you feel like that. But hey, it's nice. It's a bottle. The packaging's really nice.
