Inside Three Restore Britain Branches | What I Found

[00:00:00]Today, I'm off on a road trip. A Restore road trip, where I'll cover about 200 mi and I'll meet three branches of Restore Britain doing three different things.

[00:00:12]First one, first stop is Camelon, where the Glasgow and North Lanarkshire will be doing a litter pick. It's obviously across the nation, these things are great. My second stop will be in Broughty Ferry, where the Dundee branch are doing the same. And my third stop will be later on in Broughty Ferry at the branch meeting.

[00:00:30]That's all be in 5 days. I'll have met four branches at four different events.

[00:00:36]And I hope to do far more in my own attempts and efforts to help Restore Britain. And hopefully when we put all the next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

[00:01:41]Uh a community clean up in Camelon.

[00:01:45]Um so, we've got uh seven or eight people out the day.

[00:01:49]Just picking up the rubbish along the glen here. We've got to get to the the flats at the side there and we'll get all the rubbish up there. We just want to make this place look a wee bit better. And why is that important to our political party?

[00:02:00]Well, it's made important to the people that are using the path.

[00:02:04]So, I mean, with regards to Restore Britain, it's uh it's just a wee thing that we can do. Um as long as we're seen in the public eye that we're out there and good. They've no got to slander as well these stupid comments they've been making of late.

[00:02:21]Um cuz I think we've got uh we've got weight behind us.

[00:02:24]We're looking at the Restore Britain and it's going to be going to be most excellent for everybody.

[00:02:30]I think that we need a support Restore.

[00:02:35]When you were running before, I was thinking of independence. And how do we get independence sort of elected, especially if they have zero visibility in the the communities?

[00:02:46]And I'm thinking of the local elections next year in Scotland.

[00:02:50]Because the turnout's like 40 45% at the most.

[00:02:55]So, if we can get independence or Restore, whoever it may be, in the power, we first need to get activists in local areas.

[00:03:07]So, my idea is in my community, I will clean it up.

[00:03:14]I will talk about Restore to my neighbors. I will leaflet the place. And I will try and build sort of awareness of Restore.

[00:03:23]The sort of the ideas and the principles.

[00:03:26]Um and hopefully get people to join in.

[00:03:29]And um let's face it, if we can get people in every city joining in, come next year when the elections come, we've we've already got the support and the activists on the ground.

[00:03:46]So, that's me left Cumbernauld and on my way up to Broughty Ferry, which is just the other side of Dundee.

[00:03:53]John O'Groats take you up through a lovely part of the country, through Stirling, Perth, and then turn right and go up to Dundee. And when did the scene come about? Well, it's great. There was between eight and 10 volunteers out. Uh proudly high-vis up with our restore logos proudly adorned on the chest and backs of them.

[00:04:14]And they had a lovely little path. Now, Cumbernauld is one of these uh new towns that are situated across uh Scotland, which represent '60s built '60s and '70s. With the same sort of rough plan, a town center with shopping, etc. And then the outer area uh changing between residential and commercial. They give people work opportunities. And Cumbernauld does get quite a bad reputation. They maybe weren't they designed very great at all.

[00:04:43]Uh desire to make them attractive-looking uh civic buildings, etc. But and Belly from Liverpool, who I was fortunate enough to meet at Tommy Robinson rally on Saturday. He came up from Liverpool a few months ago and found some particularly nasty bits of Cumbernauld.

[00:05:02]But the bit we were in was um a bit city don't understand exist because when you're going to Cumbernauld, you don't really go to these places. Lovely um sort of way that walkway, which was lots of people, couples out walking, families out walking, young kids learning and they go scooters and bikes. And they'll utilize the lovely little bit and there was some rubbish and stuff about it.

[00:05:26]Little park is over lost and others.

[00:05:28]But, you know, there's a lot of time and effort taken to um really make a difference to that that community. And it is great and you know, these things are are are really, really simple, but really impactful to local communities. Long may it continue. So, let's see how we get on up in Dundee.

[00:05:54]So, I got that wrong. I got something mixed up in the messaging.

[00:05:57]We're not doing a lot of picking Broughty Ferry.

[00:06:14]I mean, it's hard to find a reason why not to join Restore to be perfectly honest. Um I think Rupert Lowe, who leads it, is a man of conviction and integrity. He clearly wants to have a party by the British people for the British people, which I really admire and I agree with.

[00:06:30]You know, I think for too long we've been putting up with the um political establishment. They've been trying to undermine us. They've been trying to almost in a way replace us, you know.

[00:06:39]We need to be serious about the future of the country and what's it going to look like in 10, 20, 30 years. You know, is this uh home that we can continue to have for ourselves as it should be. Um at the end of the day, it is our ancestral homeland.

[00:06:53]I think we need to be serious about reversing mass legal immigration in order to reclaim that, you know. Got no problem with people wanting to come over here and contribute, but only if that's what they're doing. It needs to be learn English and integrate with British culture. Needs to be paying their way.

[00:07:10]We have already enough people who are shirkers and not paying their proper fair share of society. And frankly, we don't need more people from outside of Britain contributing to that as well. We need to reward the grafters of the country. We need to get a bit of a kick up the backside of people who aren't even paying their way.

[00:07:30]And ultimately, we need to get back the demographics where it's Britain by the [clears throat] British for the British.

[00:07:36]And I think that's fundamentally what we have to do.

[00:07:39]Um I have had uh an incident of uh abuse in the past by a migrant and I think that they they should not be here for for the reason of that I'm not the only one and I'm definitely not the only case of all. Um Is that been your reason for joining this up? Yes. Yes.

[00:08:04]So that was your study.

[00:08:06]So clearly clearly there was some good people [music] doing some wonderful things.
