Trump says gas prices will 'come plummeting down' amid hopes that Iran war will end 'very quickly'

[00:00:00]So, we're here at the congressional picnic, members of the Senate, the House, and President Trump's cabinet all here on the South Lawn for this annual tradition. We just heard from President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. And the president was touting the stock market and his overall economy.

[00:00:14]And he did mention the war in Iran and said that it's going to come to an end fairly quickly. And then he says that the prices uh for Americans for gas will come down.

[00:00:23]>> I think we're going to be uh finished with that very quickly and they won't have a nuclear weapon. And hopefully we're going to get it done in a very nice manner. You're going to see oil prices plummet. They're going to come down. There's so much oil out there.

[00:00:36]They're going to come plummeting down.

[00:00:38]He also is talking here tonight as the results in primaries across the country are beginning to come in. That's in six states across the country. [music] And it comes as the president is getting ready to hit the road. Tomorrow he'll be in Connecticut and Friday in competitive New York. Again, touting his domestic policy as he returns here from China and really focused in on affordability and his message.
