The series is mixing the world of British boxing with crime revenge and family betrayal. That combination is what makes the show feels like a major move for it stars, especially as the network continues building more of its own original programming. The story follows Duke Gilroy, played by Howard Charles, a former heavyweight champion whose life falls apart after a brutal attack leaves his brother dead. Duke spends 8 years in a US prison. And when he finally gets out, he returns to London believing a criminal power player from his past helped destroy his life. That gives the show a personal engine from the start.
