Truth is not absolute but is contingent upon language, which in turn is shaped by cultural frameworks; since different cultures develop different languages and worldviews, they arrive at different sets of truth, which has significant implications for how we should discuss and value truth in our conversations.

Where Does Truth Come From?Ajouté :
Where does truth come from? Truth is contingent upon a language. The language has to produce the truth. They're called truthbearing propositions. And the languages are evolved from these frameworks. And it's from these individuals with within these frameworks the language develops and gets adopted.
But my language is not going to be the same as yours from your framework and specifically a different culture. What this presents to us is that if truth is contingent upon language and language is contingent upon human beings, the human beings are in a very specific adopted cultural framework. The truth might be different for other people. We might have completely different worldviews.
And if the world views that we're coming at the world with are different, we're going to get different sets of truth, which is fascinating for how we should be discussing truth and valuing truth.
