When political leaders fail to deliver on campaign promises and governance expectations, they face mounting pressure for resignation from their own party members, as demonstrated by Labour MPs calling for Prime Minister Keir Starmer's resignation following poor local election results and perceived policy failures.

The moment Labour MPs turned on Starmer | RESIGNATION CALLS EXPLODEAdded:
Well, well, well. I've got to say I'm on a strict diet of Labour tears today as things are going from bad to worse.
We've seen a number of Labour MPs nearly in tears about the absolute bloodbath of these local elections. And if that wasn't bad enough, they're now coming out and begging Karma to resign on live TV. And I do have to say I am getting some pleasure watching this absolute train wreck unfold after what Kiama has done to our country. There's that one moment that is burned into my memory where after Southport we were all going through national mourning due to Star's brand of politics flooding our country with millions of third world immigrants that ultimately led to the death of three young innocent girls. That moment when he came out and called us all farright thugs.
I utterly condemn the far-right thuggery we've seen this weekend.
be in no doubt those that have participated in this violence will face the full force of the law.
>> For me, that solidified just how much of a despicable traitor this man is. And I think as a country, this is one of the turning points ingrained into the public consciousness around Kiama, whether people realize it or not. That was only a few days into Kiama's premiership, literally less than a month. Another moment that sticks in my mind is January of 2025. This was a few months into his premiership. Labour obviously came to power in July 2024, but in January of 2025, he called a national inquiry into the grooming gang scandal a far-right bandwagon.
>> And when um politicians, and I mean politicians um who sat in government for many years are casual about honesty, decency, truth, and the rule of law, calling for inquiries cuz they want to jump on a bandwagon of the far right.
then that affects politics because um a robust debate can only be based on the true facts >> and things just got worse and worse from there. In my opinion, these are things that really attack deep at the soul of the average Britain. The sheer arrogance and the complete disregard for the genuine concerns of the British public is not something people forget easily.
So yes, I am enjoying watching this absolute train wreck. It's honestly very cathartic to watch these horrible traitors get exactly what they deserve, which is a resounding repudiation from the British public. Anyway, let's get into this. But two sex, just like to say how much I appreciate everyone who watched these videos and how grateful I am if you did choose to like and subscribe.
>> Should Andy Bernham be given the time to come back?
>> Look, I think I think blocking Andy Bernham was a real mistake. It demonstrated again a sort of a weakness in KIA as well doing that. It didn't help us. And if Andy wants to run, if anyone wants to run after Kia got elected, if you remember at Beth, they changed the rules stand to protect him. So let's have an open debate with as many candidates possible.
>> Look, if Andy Bernham were in parliament right now, he would be challenging would have been gone by now. That's the reality.
>> Yeah. So it appears Karma played this pretty well. He knows there's literally no one else in his cabinet except for maybe West Streeting who could take over the job from him. So I think he's purposely surrounded himself with complete idiots, make it very difficult for Labour to replace him. I think blocking Burnham was obviously part of that.
>> Do you think he has to go? But I think what is abundantly clear is that unless the government delivers significant and urgent change, then the prime minister cannot lead us into another election.
>> We keep talking about this change and how it needs to go faster. But what change? stripping us of our rights to a jury trial, censoring the internet, locking people up for mean words, importing more third world state dependence, record boat migrants, crashing the economy and the job market.
Those are the changes we've seen. Are these people saying we need more of that but faster? I'm genuinely confused on what they mean by change. And I don't think destroying the country even faster is going to help the Labor Party. Many many Labor voters that I represent and I guess through the north of England and elsewhere feel that the direction which the government's taken has not delivered the change which they thought they'd voted for. They're angry. They're upset.
They feel let down and they've sent us a clear message. The party and the government including the leadership must change with immediate effect if we want to recover.
So the prime minister must go.
>> What I would say about the prime minister is he has been a problem for us. Now I've been around a long time as you've just said all labor leaders and I think probably all party leaders come for criticism but the strongest I've ever known in in really a lifetime of being an activist have been reserved for K star. It's hard to know exactly what caused it, but I think that the initial decision to take money off pensioners winter fuel allows. He was never forgiven for it or Rachel Reeves either and they've never the government's never recovered. So, what I would say the message from my constituency is that it's curtains for KIA.
>> Well, yeah. I mean, the winter fuel payments was a big one, but there's a litany of things here and labor have done that the British public has recoiled at with disgust. U-turn after U-turn, lie after lie, his government has easily been just as corrupt as any Tory government we've seen. Though, I would argue Boris Johnson was an even bigger traitor than Star after he imported 4 million third world immigrants after being elected on getting Brexit done and lowering immigration. They're all as bad as each other.
>> I blame everybody at the top. Um, I think we need to see a real change in direction here. We made some serious mistakes early on. It will be repeated that general election and that's why there has to be a moment of reckoning now. The prime minister has my support.
I think we've got to have some really difficult conversations when we're back cuz as I said, I'm not convinced that we have lost voters to reform. I think we have had slippage to the more progressive parties.
>> She doesn't think Labor had lost votes for reform. Yeah. Okay, love. What is she on? Because she's on another planet.
>> It is anybody but Labor in large parts of this country.
>> Uh if they've listened to what I've said, they will know that I'm not in denial. They'll have heard me say we're losing too many good Labor counselors.
Uh what they hear is somebody I know Kia Starmmer shares a determination that we can turn this round. I think we can. If he came out and said to the cabinet, I've thought about this. My fear is that I will allow Nigel Farage to be our next prime minister. I'm going to stand aside and let somebody else who's better at politics, better at governing, got more charisma.
You wouldn't object, would you? I mean, that would be a perfectly reasonable thing for him to conclude.
>> Well, my starting point is that Kalmer is one of only four Labor leaders in 120 years that's won an election. And he's won a mandate from the public for 5 years. We're not even halfway through that yet.
>> It wasn't this big grand epic victory.
They all make out it was. Labour got in because everyone hated the Tories after 14 years of betrayal.
>> Well, we have had bad results for Labor overnight. But of course that does mean um for us there have been a lot of uh labor counselors, real hardworking people who've lost their seats and I am really saddened and sorry about that especially when I know they've been affected by national issues >> by by what the results look like they could be in terms of what the predictions are. It does look like a verdict on the Labor government, doesn't it?
>> Well, look, we I mean we know these are going to be difficult elections. I mean there's no there's no doubt about that.
Um, often midterm elections are difficult, but in addition to that, it's been a difficult running for the government.
>> At the moment, it looks like Labor are going to be heading for their worst ever set of local elections, their worst ever defeat. Can you even contemplate what that means, not to just you as a as a leading figure of the party, but to your counselors, to your activists? I mean, it how do you when I say it like that, how does that make you feel? Well, look, I I don't want to see any Labor counselors lose their seats. You know, I've met many of them personally.
>> Lucy, you keep saying we've made some mistakes. Are people upset with you?
>> Uh people I'm I represent the Labour Party. We we're one team. You know, we we we hang and fall together here.
>> What I'm What I'm getting to is that you keep saying we, but isn't it that people are really upset with Kiss Armor?
>> Ah, that's pure gold. They all look like they're going to cry. It's especially pleasing to see Lucy Powell upset.
Remember when this horrible said this?
>> If anyone saw the documentary on Channel 4 about gangs over >> We want to we want to blow that little trumpet now, do we? Yeah.
>> There is a real issue.
>> Let's get that dog whistle out, shall we?
>> We're count.
>> Yeah, it really couldn't happen tonight if people, could it? Anyway, thanks for watching.
