[00:00:00]Well, we're inching closer to the midterms, which means a lot of eyes are on a Senate race in where else? Texas.

[00:00:05]And on one side, you have Ken Paxton, a former attorney general down there, who spent the better part of the last two decades shamelessly screwing Texans over in order to enrich himself and his cronies as much as possible. So, naturally, Donald Trump sees a lot of potential in him and offered his endorsement. Seriously, Paxton's scandals are so bad he got impeached by his own party a few years ago. Do you know how much of a corrupt piece of lunatic [ __ ] you have to be for state level Republicans to hold you even a little bit accountable as a white man?

[00:00:30]Like I'm saying even by MAGA 2026 standards Kim Paxton sucks. So naturally he won the Republican primary in a landslide and now moves on to the general where he will face every godless lefty's favorite church boy, James Talerico. Talico seems to be that rare breed of Christian who tries to live in a Christlike manner. He believes in things like empathy, unity, compassion, uplifting the downtrodden. So, you can see why Christian conservatives think he's the devil and must be stopped. But the problem is Terico is not an easy target. You know, he's like a super wholesome straight white family man Christian. They don't they've had trouble figuring out exactly how to attack him, right? Until this week anyway. This week they landed on it.

[00:01:07]They came out and said Texas, listen up.

[00:01:09]We have some alarming news about James Tarico. Oh no. What is it? Is he a communist? Probably. But that's true for every Democrat. No, it's even worse than that. He's from Oklahoma. No. No. worse.

[00:01:21]I'm afraid. No, I'm afraid so. No, don't say. Yes. Yes. We think James Tyer Rico is a vegan. People just passing out mass hysteria and this vegan. Not a ve anything but a vegan. Is it true they have deer's teeth? Like just Texas is so funny. But the funniest part is as far as anybody can tell James Terrio is not actually a vegan. Like if you got your opponents just making [ __ ] up like that, you're probably doing pretty good. But also, this is just another reason why I can never run for office y'all. I can't handle people saying [ __ ] about me that ain't true. And this particular accusation, I'd be losing my mind. Tyler Rico's a better man than me because I'd be setting up a smoker in Ken Paxton's front yard today. I'd be going on CNN talking [ __ ] to him between fistfuls of bacon I'm shoving into my mouth.

[00:02:03]Challenge Ken Paxton to a hot dog eating contest. Spot him 10 dogs. Still whip his ass. Say I want these people. Just pisses me out. These people Y'all act like y'all own meat. Y'all don't own meat. All right. Your god emperor eats steak well done with ketchup. You [ __ ] philistines. is like this Texas please get this one right man and I got to say I'm not overly confident you know I mean every American knows for the decade plus now every election cycle people like who you seeing these numbers in Texas watching the Texas poll this could be the year the Texas turns and every every election night Texas is just like got you que right and every time it's like no it's different this time it's different no Paxton's even worse than Cruz people like Taller Rico it's different and I hope y'all are right I do it's just I'll believe it when I see it but look I'm from Tennessee I can't talk, you know.

[00:02:48]So, Texas, I'm going to still [ __ ] with y'all even if you don't get this done.

[00:02:51]But be a lot cooler if you did. All right. And the other thing about this is is like, dude, it just it all depends on where you're reading about this race or either of the candidates in it. And it's all colored by where you get your information from. Let me show you what I mean. Like, here's an article from the superlegit sounding townhall.com, right, with the headline, Trump just clowned vegan James Tarico into oblivion with these remarks. Now they got vegan in quotation marks there. Does that just imply that Trump called him a vegan or they hinting at the fact that you know he's not? Well, it's hard to tell, especially if you don't think about it, right? And it's all about Trump slamming Tyler Rico. And it's written in a celebratory fashion. If you read this, you're just and you love Trump, you're just going to come away thinking as Trump says right here that Tyler Rico is a pathetic candidate, especially for Texas. That's all you need to know. Said all of a sudden he's a vegan. Texas doesn't like vegans. He's a weird weird guy and this is a hit on Jesus, right?

[00:03:46]Aunt Tammy reads this article, she's like, "Well, not for me, Mr. Terico."

But if you sort instead by left-leaning outlets, CNN notes right up top immediately in their headline that it is a false accusation.

So see, you're getting a little more context than you're going to get if you just hear from town hall the way Aunt Tammy is doing. All right. Don't be like Aunt Tammy. Get the full picture. Listen, I you know, I don't I hope I didn't come across as too like pessimistic at the end there. I'm not trying to be pessimistic. I try to be, you know, realistic, but also it's like a thing I'm not super proud of myself for is like even though I would, if you ask me, Trey, are you superstitious? I'd be like, no, of course not. I don't believe any of that stuff. But that saying that, you know, that's caught on the past few years. I mean, I'm not superstitious, but I'm a little stious, I guess. But it seems to be the case because it's more about me not wanting to jinx anything really.

[00:05:51]What it is, you know what it is? is that I don't want to at the end of that video, not that anyone will ever remember this come November, but at the end of that video, I don't want to be on there being like, "Yeah, but guess what?

[00:06:02]Our boys getting it done. Y'all ain't ready, Texas. Let's go. Texas going to do it this time. Suck on that, Cam Paxton." Right? Like, I didn't want to do that. And then in November, it go the other way again. And now there's footage of me looking like an idiot from months prior. So, if you want to call that I didn't want to jinx it or whatever it really is is happening there. That was more what was going on at the end of that video than it was me just like trying to be a Debbie Downer because as I understand it, this is a little bit different than the past few examples of this we've seen with like VO and stuff like that.

[00:06:40]Um, Taler Rico, the new polls that like just came out now that the the matchup is set for the general and everything and Terico is like winning as in the polls as of now. And I could be wrong. I could just be misremembering this. I don't recall that ever being the case with Beto. It was more like, oh, he's close. He's closer than Democrats almost ever are.

[00:07:02]So, you know, he's got a real shot at this thing. But like Tyler Rico's like up and obviously things can change, you know. Speaking of Jinx and stuff, I was saying in there that he's like spotless, wholesome and all that. Who knows? You never know with anybody. They could uncover some wild [ __ ] but I don't know. It doesn't seem like it. I don't think that's going to happen. But either way, anything the winds can change. God knows how things can shift, especially down there in Texas. Uh but yeah, the whole vegan thing is just so funny to me because it's like I don't know. Of course, they lie and they make stuff up about people all the time on opposition.

[00:07:37]Normally though, it's based in something. It's like hugely distorted versions of the truth, but there's some kind of nugget of truth underneath it to some degree, right? Usually when they say that, even like Alex Jones, the wild ass [ __ ] that he says, there'll be some little something that you know, whatever. They're making the frogs gain and [ __ ] And then like but you look into it and it's like some big chemical thing put some [ __ ] in some water that made a species of frog that normally was this gender turn to that gender or something because of like the [ __ ] like they did in Jurassic Park. I'm pulling all this out of my butt, but what I'm saying, you find that out and then it's like that becomes the liberals are making frogs gay or whatever. But with this, as far as anybody could tell so far, I mean, it's just it just isn't at all true. And it's so easily provably not true, too. I mean, because I mean, I'm not I'm not advocating for James Terico to do that because he should have, you know, I guess a sense of dignity. I'm not saying he shouldn't do it. And by it, I mean what I said I would do in the video, which I would, by the way. That was not a joke. If I was in his exact position right now, I would have already been on every different cable news show like egregiously eating bacon and being clearly infuriated the entire time, which is not how I like to eat bacon, but like that's what I would do. And you can't let them get to you that much. That's the thing. You have to you do have to have you got it's a tight rope to walk cuz like you know there I don't know. I'm sure he got some savvy PR people. They could figure out a way to do it that's funny. I do think like maybe challenging Kim Paxton to like a brisket making contest, brisket smoking contest or something like that. Look, I'm not saying I'm not looking for a job on Karico's campaign or nothing, but like something like that I think could be fun. And it's like, you know, politicians do that. They'll have like friendly wagers and [ __ ] So, it's not like you're uh you know, it's not like you're compromising your dignity or anything by eating 50 hot dogs in prime time like I would do. So, there's ways to do it, but that's what I mean is it's like it I it's it's just wild just to just to just make straight up make a thing up out of thin air like that with no basis and any kind of truth that you could even point to that you're even distorting. It's just a thing you just said that isn't the case and can be proven to be not the case. Like we just live in so we just reality is just gone, man. It's got Well, it depends. It depends on how this plays. You know what I mean? Like, you know, I think your average Texas voter and anybody who's like a Texas Democrat, obviously, they already know it ain't true. But like people on the right, whatever Taler Rico comes up with besides just saying I'm not a vegan, if he comes up with something else. If they believe that, then that might be somewhat heartening, I suppose. But we'll just have to wait and see about a great many things. And the clock is officially ticking. How long till November?
