Proper property maintenance and cleanup can significantly improve neighborhood aesthetics and community perception, as demonstrated by how a neglected abandoned house attracted community curiosity and inquiries about its ownership and potential sale after being cleaned up.

Neighbors Couldn’t Stop Asking About This ABANDONED House After We Cleaned The Yard追加:
I was just wondering if you own this house.
>> I don't own it. No. You're like the third person to stop by and ask who. So, this property here, I got a text from I'm assuming the homeowner. I'm not really sure. And said that she owns this property here on this corner lot and um it's been just run down for years.
that's abandoned for years. Um, it's actually has a sign on the front door that it's like in a bait court or whatever. It says she has a big problem with squatters and people just vandalizing her property and the city's just honor for not cutting the lawn. So, we told her we can get over there and get it cleaned up for her. So, interesting enough, even though this property is abandoned, it's a hot commodity in this community because while we were working on this property, we had like three or four people stop by and ask me if I knew who the owner was and if they're wanting to sell and this and that. And had realtors stopping by, neighbors stopping by. A lot of people actually just wants to know what's going on with this property. Apparently, it's just been abandoned for a long time. And uh yeah, apparently a lot of people want to buy it for whatever reason. So, I hope you guys enjoy this video. Stay tuned to the before and afters. Um, this transformation is pretty cool. Um, thank you for watching. We'll see you guys in the next video.

All right. So, as you guys can tell, this place needs a lot of work. Uh there's all kinds of stuff to cut down over here in the back. There's stuff laying on the house. Um I'll I'll show you guys some pictures, but um so basically, we're going to try to get the front cleaned up and this sidey yard over here cuz she said she was having problems with the city and things like that. So, this will keep the city off their back. Um yeah, I don't know if we're going to be able to touch the back with all the tree limbs and stuff kind of hanging on the house.
that's kind of out of out of my realm of uh expertise and uh this is a pretty old house. It's pretty run down and so you got problems with uh maybe falling through the roof or things like that. So I'm not really wanting to risk all that.
Um so so basically we're going to get it cleaned up for her, make it looking good for the city and um hopefully she can get somebody to come in and help haul off all those trees that are laying on the house. And yeah, it's just it needs a lot of work.

All right. So, this is obviously the house we're working on right here, but this little stretch right here is considered city property. Uh, but I'm going to go ahead and do it anyway because there's a lot of people that have been walking up and down these streets. A lot of people, there's a college right down the road, Witchaw State University, and a lot of people walk to and from, and I just thought it'd be kind of cool to uh make the whole thing look nice, even though that's not really our responsibility.
Let's mow it and trim it and uh edge it and get it looking really good.
