The Great Vending Machine Rebellion of Two Thousand and Twenty-FourAjouté :
The Great Vending Machine Rebellion of 2024.
You know that feeling when the school cafeteria food is so bad it actually feels like a human rights violation?
Well, back in my junior year, my buddy Jackson and I decided we'd had enough of the mystery meat. See, our school had these ancient healthy vending machines that only sold cardboard-flavored protein bars.
But, thanks to a summer internship in IT, Jackson found a way to reprogram them.
One Tuesday during the most boring assembly in history, Jackson tapped a few buttons on his phone.
Suddenly, every single machine in the west wing started spitting out snacks for free.
And I'm not talking protein bars. I'm talking the good stuff. Classic chips, chocolate bars, the works. It was like a slot machine hitting the jackpot over and over and over again.
Within 10 minutes, word spread like absolute wildfire. The hallways were a total madhouse.
Kids were sprinting out of class, backpacks open, catching falling bags of Cheetos like they were winning Olympic gold.
Our principal, Mr. Miller, was standing there, face turning a bright shade of purple, screaming about order and restitution.
But, you can't stop a thousand hungry teenagers with free snacks.
By lunch, the machines were picked clean, and everyone was sitting in the quad sharing the loot like a band of merry outlaws.
The best part? They blamed a server glitch from the district office. They never even looked at us. My graduation quote?
Sometimes the best things in life are free. Especially when they're nacho cheese-flavored.
