Here's what to watch in Georgia's primaries

[00:00:00]Hey, Budge Ball Nation community, Max Cohen here taking you through what I'm watching tonight in the Georgia [music] Senate Republican primary. Georgia is a state that President Trump won in 2024 and is currently represented by Jon Ossoff in the Senate. He's up for re-election. Republicans think they have a good shot at flipping the seat. But the question is who will be their candidate? Tonight, we're going to see who's going to advance to the top [music] two runoff between Mike Collins, a representative from Georgia, Representative Buddy Carter from Georgia, and Derek Dooley, a first-time [music] candidate and former college football coach. Now, it's important to note President [music] Trump has not yet endorsed in this race. He's stayed totally out of it. Brian Kemp, the governor, however, has endorsed Derek Dooley. He thinks that we need someone who's outside the political system who does not have a voting record to attack.

[00:00:47]Carter and Collins, of course, both members of the House have a lengthy voting record. Polling shows Mike Collins as the frontrunner. He's likely to advance and so between Buddy Carter and Derek Dooley to see who will get that second spot in the runoff. [music] Stay tuned.
