The Department of Justice, under the Trump administration, has established a dedicated Second Amendment section to actively protect gun owners' constitutional rights by challenging state and local gun regulations through litigation, with Assistant Attorney General Harmy Dylan predicting that the Supreme Court will declare AR-15 rifles legal everywhere in America as a violation of the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.

MASSIVE BREAKING NEWS! TRUMP ANNOUNCES MAJOR SCOTUS AR-15 UPDATE!Added:
Major breaking news as President Donald J. Trump, just posted on his truth social account, a statement by Harmy Dylan, the lead civil rights lawyer for the United States that indeed they expect the United States Supreme Court to step up and strike down AR-15 bans once and for all for violation of the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. The Overton window continues to move in our favor, my friends. And the Trump administration continues to do great things for the Second Amendment.
Yet another one and more just now. Let's break it all down when we come back.
Hey folks, I'm Mark Smith, host of the four box and proud American gun owner, constitutional attorney, member of the United States Supreme Court Barn, and I'm proud to say the top voice of the Second Amendment in America. Thank you.
2025 and 2026 Gunies awards. All right, exciting news. If you support the Second Amendment, now you understand exactly why you should be supporting the administration of Donald J. Trump and all the lawyers that are fighting for our rights in the Department of Justice.
That's right. A huge announcement was just made today on Truth Social by none other than President Donald J. Trump himself repost on Truth Social that indeed he supports the view of Harmy Dylan and the Department of Justice that AR-15 bans in those radical outlier insane blue jurisdictions shall fall by the wayside. Those bans will go by the wayside and go bye-bye when the Supreme Court declares those laws to be unconstitutional. And that is my view as well. As I've explained before, all we need is the Supreme Court to grant cert in one of these cases and we will win that case possibly even nine to zero. Anyway, to start off, here's what President Trump did on Truth Social with respect to a statement made by the civil rights head of the Department of Justice, Harmy Dylan. Check it out.
Here's the post on Truth Social by Donald J. Trump where he states that top DOJ official, top DOJ official, that's Harmy Dylan, predicts Supreme Court will declare AR-15 rifles legal everywhere in America.
That's right. And of course, he's referring to an interview that Harmy Dylan gave on Just the News. We'll get to that more in a second. That's fantastic news. When you have the president of the United States, I want you to understand the context here, folks. You have the president of the United States who has been the target of no fewer than three violent assassination attempts. The butler Pennsylvania, he almost was killed by an assassin's bullet. Then they try to kill him in Florida. Now they try to kill him at the White House correspondents dinner. This is a man that will not blink and will not back down and is standing up for the Second Amendment and for AR-15s. And as I've explained before you, as I've explained before, the reality on the ground is this. If we get a Supreme Court decision that says all semi-automatic rifles, including AR-15s and AK-47s, are protected arms under the Second Amendment and cannot be banned, that is groundbreaking. That is huge because the anti-gun movement has sunk billions of dollars, I suspect, billions of dollars into making sure those guns are banned. And if that all gets blown up and thrown into the trash bin of history, which is where the Second Amendment division at the Department of Justice or Harmy Dylan and Barry Arrington are going, that will be spectacular and really just groundbreaking. There's no other way to phrase it. And I suspect there's a good chance that's going to be happening soon. We'll see what the Supreme Court does in the next few months. With that said, here's Harmy Dylan doing an interview on the Joe PAG show, an excellent show over there, where she's talking specifically about her view of the Department of Justice's role in enforcing the Second Amendment right, which is a fundamental right on par with all other fundamental rights. Here's what she has to say. Check it out.
>> There's a a Second Amendment division now that you're overseeing, and you're commenting a lot over on X on this. Why is it Har from the very beginning, why did states have the ability to regulate something I was told the second amendment said would be unf uh would not be infringed. I'm not sure I understand why different states like Colorado specifically or Denver inside of Colorado specifically why they think they can tell me that I don't have the same second amendment rights there that I have in Texas.
>> Well, you rais a very important point and the Supreme Court has said they can't do that anymore. Uh, in the Heler decision, they said that the state can't prevent a law-abiding citizen from having firearms in their home. And in Bruin, the Supreme Court ruled that uh there's a must issue shall issue regimen for um concealed carry permits uh for for law- abiding citizens in public. And yet, I've gone to court now four times, including today, uh suing Denver over illegal bans on lawfully permitted firearms. And we've also gone to the Supreme Court and the Wolfford case.
We're waiting for the opinion. Wolfford versus Ohio uh Hawaii. Um with Hawaii's extreme regimen that effectively makes it impossible to carry uh openly or concealed in that jurisdiction because you have to ask for permission every time you cross a property line, which is insane. And so uh unfortunately these rights do not protect themselves. And that's true of all of our civil rights.
The fourth amendment I think is a very important right, the first amendment.
Uh, and so here, this is the first time, however, in American history that the United States Department of Justice is on the side of the citizens in enforcing the Second Amendment. I'm so excited and proud to be at the helm of that with the full support of acting attorney general Todd Blanch, who himself is a enthusiastic supporter of Second Amendment rights, goes to gun gun events with me and others here at the DOJ. And uh we will eventually get to whatever jurisdiction you want to complain about in my DMs and my um mentions on X. We will we will get there.
>> And again, the good news just keeps right on rolling. Here is an interview that Harmy Dylan gave on just the news to John Solomon, a great guy, uh where she's talking specifically about why she does predict that the US Supreme Court is going to declare AR-15 rifles to be legal everywhere in America. And I believe that's going to happen. I do believe that's going to happen. With that said, here's what she has to say.
According to reporting by John Solomon over there on Just the News, the Justice Department's top civil rights lawyer believes the Trump administration's lawsuit this week against the city of Denver's gun ban will one day soon lead to a Supreme Court decision legalizing the AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, revered by gun owners and reviled by liberals in every jurisdiction in America. Quote, "We intend to make sure they do that."
Assistant Attorney General Harmy Dylan said in an interview to be aired Wednesday night on Just the News Noise television show. And that's great stuff.
And again, she points out that it's because of the leadership of President Donald Trump, former Attorney General Pam Bondi, and current interim Attorney General Todd Blanch that she has been given the freedom to bring these lawsuits in support of the Second Amendment. Here's what she tells John Solomon here. Check it out. Dylan says, quote, "I want to thank the president for setting the tone at the beginning of his administration and having an executive order. Having an executive order, they made clear that the Second Amendment is a first class right in the United States." And Pam Bondi and acting attorney general Todd Blanch have fully backed that up. We intend to make sure that citizens of Denver have the same rights as citizens of the rest of America. And we do have other cities like this. The District of Columbia also has a similar ban. We have sued them already and we will be absolutely looking for other opportunities and there will be other types of issues as well. And that's fantastic news. As you know, the Second Amendment unit within the Department of Justice led by Harmy Dylan and a bunch of excellent lawyers there including Barry Arrington, a well-known famous second amendment litigator before joining the Trump administration. They have sued the city of Denver over the AR-15 semi-automatic rifle ban in that city. It's absurd.
They've also just sued the state in a separate lawsuit, the state of Colorado, over the state's magazine ban. And I'm embarrassed to say, I feel like, what is wrong? I know what's wrong, but here we are. That Phil Weiser, the NYU law grad, who's the attorney general of Colorado, uh, was also at NYU law with me. So I feel like between Bob Ferguson, my classmate out there as the governor of Washington, now Phil Wiser in Colorado, I feel like NYU law is like, you know, flooded the western states with these terrible anti-gun politician types. But I'm happy to say that um Mark Smith, this NYU Law grad has sway in other places that are even better than what they got. But again, you know, only history will tell as to who wins this war for our Second Amendment rights. I got my uh I know where my chips are chips are being bet and uh it's right here on the four boxes diner and not on those west lefty politicians. But anyway, the history of the future is yet to be written. But I feel pretty good we're going to do really well on the Second Amendment thanks to the election of Donald Trump and the people over in that administration fighting for our race. Finally, just for the record, it's also important that on the website of the Department of Justice, they now have a detailed description of the Second Amendment section of the DOJ. Never ever ever happened in history before. But check out what they have to say.
Fantastic stuff here. Take a look. This describes the Second Amendment section of the Department of Justice. Quote, "The Second, Fourth, and 14th Amendments, the Police Pattern or Practice Act, and the Executive Order 14206 protecting Second Amendment rights secure the National Firearm rights of law-abiding American citizens and ensure that such rights to keep arms will not be infringed. The mission of the Second Amendment section is to ensure that law-abiding American citizens may responsibly possess, carry, and use firearms. The Second Amendment section will work diligently to investigate law enforcement agencies that engage in a pattern or practice of infringing on law-abiding citizens second amendment rights as well as be as well as be proactive proactive in searching for litigation opportunities to secure such rights. Hear that folks? So, if you see opportunities to sue over the Second Amendment, let them know. It goes on to say, "The Second Amendment section will also seek opportunities to advance a broad interpretation of the Second Amendment via statements of interest, motions to intervene, amikas briefs, and original lawsuits where applicable on behalf of Americans. Thank you for fighting for Americans on behalf of Americans across the country and all attorneys within the Second Amendment section will advocate with zeal on behalf of the United States of America in furtherance of all the objectives to which they are tasked." Great stuff.
Again, the Overton window continues to expand in favor of the Second Amendment rights to go back to a place they never should have left in American history.
And again, I think the trend is our friend and the Second Amendment is on the rise as well it should be. And these handful of outlier, insane anti-gun blue jurisdictions, they're definitely on the run. I'm sure they're quaking in their boots as well. They should because they're about to get their dupa kicked, not just by this Department of Justice, but I suspect by the United States Supreme Court and a lot of things coming up over the next few years. Not everything is as fast as we want in the Second Amendment community. Not everything is perfect. We don't live in a land of rainbows and unicorns, unfortunately. But the good news is we are making huge strides uh strides. And for those of you uh behind the enemy walls in those blue jurisdictions in those blue states, um it looks like you have a friend in Harmy Dylan and this department of justice and that is a very good friend to have if you care about the right to keep and bear and all fundamental rights under the constitution. All right, folks. There you have it. Hope you enjoyed today's episode. Make sure you follow me on X4box. Don't forget to subscribe both the YouTube and the Rumble. And I'll talk to all of you again real soon here at the Forboxes Diner. Orders up. Table 2 A.
