You Won't BELIEVE What Chris Murphy Admitted About His Trump Derangement Syndrome...Added:
Somebody needs to intervene with Chris Murphy. The man is an addict. He's suffering from multiple maladies. One is his addiction to the media and being in front of a camera. The other is Trump derangement syndrome. And that combined with the fact that he's trying to sell a book, it's a dangerous combination.
And we're going to get to that story in just one minute. But first, there's something that has real consequences for those of you 64 or older. If you're on Medicare or you're about to be, it's not a decision you want to guess on. See, the wrong plan can mean your doctor isn't covered. Your prescription costs way more than they should. You're locked into something that doesn't fit your life, and it's incredibly confusing to find the right one for you. Now, between us, I think there may be a special place in hell for the folks that create all those Medicare mailers. That's why I point people to Chapter, including my own mother. That's right. Chapter is independent. They're the only Medicare adviserss that compare every plan nationwide. Their adviserss are honest.
They're not incentivized to push one plan over another. They look at your doctors, your prescriptions, your priorities, and then they give you a straight answer. If you're on the right plan, they'll tell you. If you're not, they'll help you switch. In fact, seniors who found better fitting plans through Chapter have saved an average of $1,100 a year. Please call Chapter 5803080975.
It's free. It's under 20 minutes, but don't guess on this one. 5803080975.
All right. Now, back to the video.
Here's Chris Murphy being nuts. So, >> well, I've certainly remember that debate as we are all wondering what was happening um in front of our eyes. I feel like we've litigated this. It was a mistake for the president to stay in that race as long as he did. We would have been better off as a party had he gotten out much sooner. Um, but yes, that was certainly a moment where many of us were scratching our heads.
>> Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Biden stayed in the race longer than he should have. He only stayed in the race like three and a half weeks after that debate. So, he should have dropped out when exactly did you see something before the debate?
You think he should have just dropped out immediately the next day? I don't remember you calling for him to drop out.
Or do you mean he should have never run again? That he should have had a primary process so that candidates could actually vive for the votes of the Democrats in this country to be the nominee? What exactly do you mean by that? He should have dropped out earlier. You think that the extra three and a half weeks that he stayed in while everybody was jockeying in the background and strong arming him off of the ticket and then elevating Kla Harris to the top spot? You think that's what did her in? Seriously.
all the follow-up questions that Jake Tapper wouldn't ask, but you know, he's the professional journalist. So, Chris Murphy has a book, so he's doing the media, and that means he's going to go on shows like that. We've got him on the View coming up in a sec. Just wait till you see that. It also means you get to do these events at these fancy YMCAs where a fanboy MS Now interviewer will ask you questions and fawn over you.
Case in point, here he is. I think it's the 92nd Street Y. Uh here's Jonathan Kart, the aforementioned from MS Now.
>> Okay, first um there's one word that's not in that passage at all and it's Trump. Um and and I just want to say just a quick word about the the book and what the purpose of explaining these cults is. I spend my entire day worrying about Donald Trump. He is an existential threat to our democracy. He's a big deal. is the cause of lots of our problems. But I think people in this country understand that there is something deeper that is wrong with American culture and our American experience. That we feel more a drift, lonelier, more frustrated, overwhelmed than ever before. And that Trump is in ways a symptom of that spiritual unraveling that has been happening for a long time.
I love that he's got the uh stubble thing going on. I still think Chris Murphy's running for president. Nobody believes me. I think the timing of this book lends itself to that. And the um flirtation with clean shaven, full beard, and now grayish stubble tells me that he's absolutely doing it because he recognizes that without any facial hair, he looks boyish and charming like uh well, like Pete Buddha Judge without his beard. But he can't go with the full-on beer because then it would look like he's copying Pete Buddhaj. And when you hear him talk like that, you recognize that he's James Telerico, but without the deep spiritual roots that St. Jim brings to the table. Also, if you actually listen to what he was just saying, he was admitting that he does in fact have Trump derangement syndrome. He thinks about Trump every day. Can't get him out of his mind. But then he went on to say, "But the real problem isn't Trump. He's just a symptom of our country being so lousy.
So yeah, I mean that's a winning message for Democrats going into 2028. Here he was with the ladies on the view who agree with him about everything, especially that part where they hate America. Yeah, that part.
>> And and how about meeting the energy that the Republican party has? Because you know when they go high or they go low, we should go high. It seems to me when they go low, we should go to the earth's crust. I think it's a it's a I think a lot of Democrats are um dis they don't feel great about the sort of energy that they're seeing from the Democratic party because it seems like the Democratic Party is playing by a rule book that no longer >> Well, the other party is shameless.
First of all, >> yeah.
>> Yeah. I mean, I'll say two things about that.
>> Melissa calls it a race to the bottom.
>> I I understand that. Listen, the like democracies die when the regime that's trying to convert a country to totalitarianism um breaks the rules and the opposition um follows follows those broken rules. Right? So, you have to if you if you want to confront this threat, the opposition, the Democratic party has to break some norms as well. And I get that that makes people uncomfortable.
Here's the other thing. Um you know, he he tells a story, right, about who's screwing you. And it's a false story, right? Is he talks about immigrants >> and Muslims and gay kids?
>> But there is a story, a true story about who is screwing the American people, right? And it's these technology companies that don't care about your kids, right? It's these massive corporations like Walmart that are emptying um out good jobs from our communities, replacing them with part >> the Supreme Court.
>> The Supreme Court. So, let's tell a story. Let's tell a true story about why you're getting screwed and who's doing the screwing. Um, and that's I think part part of what this book talks about is that real story of who's to blame for the the spiritual um unspooling that's happened in this country. And that if we're going to fix what's wrong in the country, it's not just good enough to beat Donald Trump. You also have to take on all these other forces that have left us feeling really exhausted and lonely.
you guys to make sure that those folks can't get it. That's what that's what we need from you. We need >> not enough time. Not enough time. So, our thanks to Chris Murf.
>> Oh boy. Oh boy. That's a whole lot of gobbledygook to unpack there. The bottom line is they think that something's broken in this country and what's broken is you and the way you think and what you believe. And uh Trump's trying to scare everybody by saying there's a boogeyman out there trying to screw him.
And that's not right. I mean, there is a boogeyman out there trying to screw him.
He's just not telling you who the real boogeyman is.
By the way, Trump isn't telling you that there's a boogeyman trying to screw you.
He's saying, "Hey, we have laws. Let's follow them." And I hope you heard what Chris Murphy just said there. Only way we can fight back is if we break the rules ourselves. Uh but of course, they can never articulate exactly what rule Trump is breaking. You know, he's trying to use ICE to enforce our immigration laws. Well, yeah, because ICE is literally immigration enforcement.
Well, that's unconstitutional. Well, it's literally a federal agency voted on and funded to enforce our laws. You see what I mean? And the only way you can stop them is if you break the law, right? And then I love that Joy Behar throws the Supreme Court in there. The Supreme Court is screwing. Well, the Supreme Court is literally part of our Constitution. And every single person on the Supreme Court is there through constitutional means. And every single decision they've come up with is in keeping with the constitutional role of the Supreme Court. And that's what they hate.
And so they want to upend all of it, but they throw a lot of psycho babble in there and say it's the crisis of the common good. It's like common good. Gee, what does that sound like? Common.
That's sort of a root word of another.
Oh, communism. That's what it is. Yes.
It's all for the greater good. give up your rights because people like Chris Murphy know better. Oh, and speaking of Chris Murphy knowing better, he's got some advice on the current status of the peace negotiations with Iran. If Chris Murphy and his party were in charge right now of the military engagement in Iran, this is how it would end.
>> The bottom line is every day this war goes on, we get weaker, they get stronger. So even though this is not a good deal, I'll take it because we need to we need to bring our our troops home.
We shouldn't lose a single additional American. We spent so much money on this war. We got to get gas prices down. So that's my position. A bad deal is better than >> So we should cave into the terrorists and give them whatever we want because gas prices I think is is bottom line or something.
Well, listen, if you think about it, all of the great wars that Democrats have won in the past where we've always ended up in No, never mind. You don't want to walk down that road. It's not good. All right, Chris Murphy, we'll finish this up here because uh last I checked, you were trying to bring us all together, rally our nation, find out that common good that we all have in common and that we love each other over. Please explain to us if you or your party led us into this great new lost horizon of nirvana, what would it look like with all of us holding hands and singing kumbaya?
Because I know you're a great healer.
Okay, heal us. Go ahead, heal.
>> If I may, Senator, so uh President Trump's approval rating has hit record lows. There's no doubt he's deeply unpopular with the broad swath of the American public with only 58 a 58% uh disapproval rating, but Democrats also have a 59% disapproval rating. So, I want to ask you, is it enough to just be anti-Trump? And how does your party regain its footing with the American public?
>> Yeah, it's a great question. It's not enough to be just against Trump. And this is frankly getting us to what this book is about. I I want the Democratic Party to really speak to where the people of this country are emotionally right now. Trump frankly has done a better job than Democrats of speaking to people about the way they feel powerless today, the way they feel lonely and a drift. Ma, whether you like it or not, is a place where people find community.
It's a divisive, hateful community. But >> this to me is, you know, what this book is about trying.
>> Yeah, there you go. I I I feel joined together. I feel bonded. I feel healed.
Don't you? say what you about MAGA. They they are a community. Oh, it's a divisive and hateful community, but it's a community nonetheless.
What's with all this loneliness they're talking about and all the isolation?
Here's the thing. They've created this paradigm. They have created this environment where their own people suffering from the same TDS that Chris Murphy and the ladies at the view are suffering from. They're the ones who look at the world through the lens of a proctologist. They think that everything is going to crap and they cannot see any good in the world if the guy they didn't support is sitting in the Oval Office.
And therefore, they talk down our country. They obsess over the stupidest things like a ballroom or the color of the reflecting pool on the National Mall. And they will not let their rage go. They just live with it. They eat it.
They drink it. They sleep it. They digest it. They defecate it. And at the end of the day, all they've got is that rage and isolation because nobody wants to be around people like that. Go to Blue Sky for a while, you'll see what I'm talking about. And then they think that everyone in America is feeling that that everybody in America is suffering with the same kind of garbage psychological dementia that they've created for themselves and for their own friends. And then they inflict it upon us.
That's it. That's what they're doing.
And there's something seriously seriously wrong with them.
It's all I got. Oh, but definitely you should buy his book. I'm sure it's a great read.
