It's a model of the world's first automobile. There we go. 1886.
Links are down below if you want to go check it out. So, here's some of the specs. Material is made of aluminum alloy and zinc alloy.
Weighs about 1.7 kilos or 1,700 g. 530 pieces. It does have a motor, so it actually does move. Or you put it on this sweet display. It's got like little rollers here and it just, you know, moves, but it stays in the in the same spot. Let's have a look at what you get.
Now, this uh Teaching, they bring out heaps of cool different stuff. Like they've got those model engines of like four cylinders and turbos. Uh like turbo so uh turbine jet engines and stuff like that. So, here we go.
Pretty sweet. Sterling kit. Like a old pebble stone kind of brick road or something like that. So, that's nice. That is aluminum, too.
Here's the instruction manual you get here. Nice nice and in color. Gives you a little bit of uh history. De Karl Benz. There you go. So, it gives you a bit of history and color manual there. So, pretty sweet. I'll put it all together. Anything interesting I'll show you. But uh here's it go. The other part of that uh road bed.
Nice tool. That is a 1.5 mm. It's got different parts here. So, they've got different layers, as you can see.

Cool little chain. Heaps of nice stuff.
And these Teaching kits go together really, really well. So, that's cool.
Check out the spoked wheel.
Rubber is already installed.
That looks really nice. And the electronics, charging cable.
There's your little electric motor. It's a little gearbox on the end.
reduction gearbox and the last layer here. So, I've got the two rear wheels there and you got the front wheel here.
The detail is really, really good. It's good about these kits.
All their screws and hardware is nicely labeled in these little plastic boxes. There we go.
All the bearings.
Awesome. All right.
I'll uh not waste too much time.
Let's put it together. Any major issues, I'll call out, but uh hopefully it goes together really well and we'll see this thing actually moving. Just a little update. So, a lot of these things are kind of little sub-assemblies.
Like there is the chair. Pretty cool.
It's got the nice little springs in there.
Different drive mechanisms. They've all got ball bearings.
Little steering mechanism just here.
And all your kind of gears, like your sorry, electronics when you like it's a little box, which is really, really nice.
Cool little fuel tank.
Little straps that will go around it.
So, the detail is really, you know, impressive. But, what I wanted to show you, look at that. There's a piston and there's the uh combustion chamber or the engine assembly it's called.
And you see, it's just really easy to follow.
And that little crankshaft.
Oh, yeah.
It's going going easy, so not much to write home about, but it's all ball bearings and stuff like that.
But, big big thing you take home with these is you need one of these, well, you don't need it, but makes life a lot easier, it's one of these electronic screwdrivers. I'll, if I remember, I'll leave the link in the description down below. And here is the ball bearings on that base, so you can start it up and let it just do its thing.
So, it's kind of like a dyno, I guess.
It's just two ball bearings.
And it spins. Two crude ball bearings.
See, it's a quick look at the I guess the engine lying on its side.
It's a big flywheel here.
Piston going up and down in the middle.
There we go there.
Really moves really well. It's obviously a nice ball bearing here.
Progress.
Pretty sweet how all the electrics are kind of hidden under the seat just here.
So, you plug it all in nice and easy.
And once the seat's down, it's kind of all hidden.
Kind of neat.
Great idea. Final little video before I put it all together, but look at this.
So, you can see it's got like a little You can see it's got the belt here. It's kind of a neutral. You push this lever.
There we go.
Pretty sweet.
Probably see with the wheels on probably be a bit more drag. It won't spin as easy.
But yeah, put it in Put it in drive.
There we go.
All righty. I'll finish it up and we'll see how she looks. And there we go.

Pretty nice display piece.
But the good thing about it, you can just switch it on.
You can see everything moving.
And you pull this little lever.
There we go.
You can see it's rolling on the uh um ball bearings here. You know that chain is that noise is just the chain.

How cool is that? I like this you can just flick it back.
Flick it forward.
Looks great.
See the engine working here.
And that belt's just grabbing. I guess if you had some like more pressure on it, it wouldn't spin.
It's like a Well, it's like a CVT, isn't it?

The mechanism down there.
It's got the rollers.
They engage it, so you can see when it's fully engaged.
Rotates much nicer.
There's the ball bearings.
How cool is that?
Just going to adjust a little bit cuz sometimes if there's a bit of a bump, it'll flick back like that.
But, more importantly, what happens if we put it on the ground?
So, you can see that it's it's flicked this switch here.
Let's turn it back around, but it still engages. So, I guess it just depends.
Do that again, but bit of finessing with that, I think you could I guess it's pretty quick.
When you know, things considered.

Nice ball bearings.
But, really nice detail. It went together really really with no issues.
There's all the units.
Very simple machine, but hey, it works.
