[00:00:05]>> All right, good afternoon to you. That is a look live right now at the airport.

[00:00:08]That wind is continuing to be uh the issue here as we go through this afternoon. Sunny and 72 with uh winds gusting upwards well over 40 miles an hour, close to that number now at 38, but since midnight, we've had gusts closing in on 50 miles an hour.

[00:00:31]And we do have reports of some trees down, and we have this wind advisory that's in effect as that southwesterly wind will continue through the afternoon. Sustained 25 to 35 miles an hour, but there are going to be a few gusts that approach 50, highest likelihood near the shoreline and over the hills. So, the wind advisory continues here, high wind warning for Chautauqua County. And these are posted because you got the leaf on the trees, all the foliage, so it's more susceptible for some of these trees to topple this type of wind, and we expect gusty winds to continue as we head into the afternoon. Tornado watch up into central New York, nasty line of thunderstorms getting ready to push into the central Leatherstocking region, the same line that rolled through here earlier this morning, prompted a a couple of severe thunderstorm warnings and even a couple tornado warnings. Now, what we're watching are these uh fire up here probably along a little bit of a lake breeze. You can see them uh approaching Chautauqua Lake and then crossing the I-79 corridor and heading over into uh Warren County. Nothing severe, so that's good. Where the storms have been severe, uh well to our south and west, a very active line of storms uh pushing south into Kentucky. And this line spawned several tornadoes yesterday over parts of Indiana and into southern Illinois.

[00:02:00]And quite the footprint from that line of thunderstorms. I mean, look at all these wind reports spanning from the Dakotas right down into the uh uh parts of Illinois, Indiana, those areas. Again, a couple of spinners there as well.

[00:02:19]So, through the rest of this afternoon a hit or miss shower thunderstorm not out of the question.

[00:02:27]Uh outside of that and the gusty wind, really not bad. Partly sunny.

[00:02:33]As we go into tonight, still windy at times. The strongest gusts will subside tonight.

[00:02:39]Uh but it's still windy. Still the chance of an isolated shower. Then as we go into Friday, there might be a brief quick 5-minute shower sprinkle somewhere through the day on Friday. Winds southwesterly and continuing to remain gusty 40-45 50 mph through the afternoon. So, some minor tree damage, some scattered power outages possible.

[00:03:01]And notice the strongest gusts will start to subside, but it's not like the wind just shuts off completely tonight. Uh it's going to be windy at times into Friday and into Saturday for that matter as well. Weather watchers chiming in here this noon time at 73 at Bear Run.

[00:03:21]There's Fairview at 72, 71 right now in Edinboro, 73 Union City and Corry, 74 in French Creek, Greenfield 70, 69 in Titusville, Youngsville chiming in at a 73, Titusville there as well, 77 in Saegertown, low 70s in Meadville. 7-day forecast, hit or miss shower storm, very windy through the afternoon, 75, uh mainly dry Friday, might be a brief spritzer sprinkle 73 as we go into Saturday windy sunny though as we go into Sunday which is the first day of summer.
