When political movements only support representation when it aligns with their ideological interests, they undermine their own credibility and face backlash when reality contradicts their narrative, as demonstrated by Democrats' reaction to a black Republican woman winning Tennessee's ninth district through redistricting.

Democrats’ Map War BACKFIRES As Black Republican Candidate Breaks The NarrativeAdded:
Now the Democrats are learning something in real time, right? You can't spend years turning politics into theater and then not confused when people start laughing at the performance.
>> But the woman now who is likely going to win the ninth district in Tennessee is a black Republican woman as a result of this redistricting effort. It's likely going to be a black Republican woman who beats that old white man.
>> Could I make this very natur and uh Congressman, I'm going to have you both respond. We'll be right back.
Oh, how convenient.
Yeah, that silence was devastating. You see, she had her hand up just that panel was fully prepared for the standard conversations, you know, representation, protecting black voices, historic injustices, and somebody reminded them that the district could literally elect a black Republican woman, and suddenly everybody went mute. That's the problem people keep noticing right there. Because if race matters, but only when the person politically agrees with you, then people start questioning the sincerity of the whole argument all together. The energy completely changed once the possibility of a conservative black woman winning entered entered the chat.
Not a black woman, a black Republican woman. That adjective, you know, it hit the room like a flashbang. I said bring a flashbang grenade, if you will.
And the reaction from there, it just went off the rails.
>> The unhinged degenerate behavior of the left, well, it's become common place nowadays. The hotly contested redistricting bill that just passed in the Tennessee House. And the leftist, they absolutely lost it. Take a look.
What?
Let go. Let go is wrong with you.
>> Is wrong with you?
>> You stupid mother.
>> Now, there was a throng of angry Democrats just stormed out of the building. But the highlight or rather lowlight was what you just saw. That was Tennessee Representative Justin Pearson.
Let me say that again. That is a state representative and his name is Justin Pearson. He is an elected official, a member of that body and can be seen here screaming at Tennessee uh state troopers like a common street thug complete with threatening behavior and horribly unprofessional language. This is the left, my friends. Their policies are senseless and when they don't get their way, their behavior is intolerable. They thrive off of emotion and when all else fails, believe me, they will get violent. But kudos to the troopers for remaining calm like adults. And thank you, Mr. Pearson, for once again exposing the immaturity of the left.
See, this right here, this is what happens when political movements become emotionally dependent on winning every single argument because the reaction wasn't just disagreement. That was a full-blown. That was that was tantrum energy, right? Screaming at the officers, causing all that chaos in the capital, people acting like somebody deleted the Constitution off the internet. And and I think what gets me is the same people who lecture everybody about dangerous rhetoric suddenly turns into WWE extras the second the vote doesn't go that way.
And you know what this reminded me of?
of like that kid at the family cookout who flips over the Monopoly board because you know grandma bought boardwalk first. Like that's the whole vibe of this man. And my guy right here, Mark Robinson, is calling it a calling it street thug behavior. Yeah, it's going to make some of these libs mad. But honestly, regular Americans watching those clips, man, probably understand exactly what it means. Because most normal people see grown adults blowing air horns and screaming over political process and think, "Yeah, maybe these aren't the stable geniuses they keep advertising."
Then came Kyra and she came through and took the conversation somewhere way more uncomfortable. Tennessee passed their new maps today and it was just a complete [ __ ] show in the Tennessee capital of just air horns and someone pulled the the fire alarm and cussing and this was a legal process and people were just acting straight up fools. And you know what, black people, you should be embarrassed. I'm embarrassed. I'm embarrassed for us. You should be embarrassed of how you acted. And I don't know why anyone in the country would trust us with governing them with that kind of response. Let me tell you something. You wouldn't have to act so ridiculous and childish and violent if we black people in America were generally speaking trained to compete properly in the arena of ideas. But instead, we've just gotten used to being able to be elected on the color of our skin. Instead of learning how to get elected on the strength of our ideas, Democrats haven't required us to have ideas. All they've required us to have is melanin. And guess what? It's kicking us in our asses now. So my suggestion to all of black America is go out there and get educated and learn how to persuade and learn how to run on the strength of your ideas and not the color of your skin. And then you don't have to freak out like a bunch of freaking idiot ignorant babies every time something doesn't go your way. Grow up.
>> You see that is the kind of clip that makes political consultants throw their phones, you know, across the room right there. I'm just saying because well, she basically said if your movement can only survive through emotional racial panic, eventually reality is going to catch up.
And whether people agree or disagree, one thing she said absolutely landed. A lot of modern politicians don't even try to persuade anymore. They just perform.
Every issue becomes this is the end of democracy. This is dangerous. This is a threat. It's racist. People are tired.
Bro, you can only pull a far along on society so many times before folks stop running outside.
And honestly, Democrats, they got another issue, too. People struggling financially don't care about elite political language anymore, right? While this next clip, you know, it's spreading the way it is.
>> Democrats, if y'all lose the midterms, it's going to be your own fault.
Because, see, if you want people to vote for you, there are a couple of things that you got to do. Number one, have a backbone. That means you got to be willing to fight for something just as hard as you fight against other things.
Because otherwise, if if if that's not the case, what are people really voting for? How are you going to motivate them to get out of their house if you don't do that? You fold under pressure like a lawn chair and you expect people to support you. That won't happen. Number two, you got to speak in plain English.
Stop talking like everybody got a law degree and a history book in their back pocket. If people have to Google what you said, you already lost them. Just meet the people where they are. And number three, it's the economy, stupid.
Money, bills, rent, groceries, survival.
That's what people care about. And stop describing the struggle like we don't already live in it. We know we struggling. The question is, what are you going to do about it? Don't sell people dreams. Give them real solutions that you could actually implement. Cuz if you can't do these things, don't be surprised that people stay home. So, what else y'all think Democrats need to do to get people out to vote for them before these midter midterms? Let's talk about it.
>> Yeah, man. This woman, she just cooked up with one sentence. People are broke.
That's it. That's the whole movie right now. People don't want to hear another carefully curated activist speech written by somebody who says lived experience every four minutes while charging $9 for a water bottle, you know, at at a conference.
Oh, trying to survive. Rent's crazy. You know, I'm sure groceries is crazy.
People Everything feels expensive.
Meanwhile, politicians keep talking like substitute teachers at a diversity seminar. And this is what Democrats keep fumbling. They think social media language equals connection, but it doesn't. Regular Americans can smell with somebody talking at them instead of to them.
and my people uh struggling. Democrat leadership by you know fighting like their entire existence depend on controlling district maps which brings us to Jeff and brother this a horribly >> our message to Florida Republicans is f around and find out >> that we're just getting in from the Commonwealth of Virginia. This could have this could have big implications for other states and clearly for the midterms. And there's a reaction now of Republicans in Virginia saying the following. Uh we respect the decision of the Supreme Court of Virginia. Uh I'm proud Virginia's came out in historic numbers. Um got it. Made their voices heard and sent a message not just here at home but across the country uh to Donald Trump and his administration. That's the reaction from the Democrats. The problem is how they get that.
>> Yeah. For Democrats. How they get that out of >> it's they they've been shut out of the the program here because they thought they were going to pick up several seats. Republicans are saying the Supreme Court today affirms what we all know. You cannot violate the Constitution to change the Constitution, which was what Shannon Bream was describing.
>> Our message to Florida Republicans is f around and find out.
>> That f around and find out came back like a boomerang with revenge issues because now you know Republicans online treating that clip like a championship replay.
You know what I mean? And the funniest part about this is the timing. Jeffrey is talking tough at the I don't even want to call him Jeffrey the old off brandand Obama talking tough. Then Virginia Supreme Court comes through and basically says actually this process was unconstitutional.
That's a rough week. And notice something else too. Whenever courts rule against conservatives, we're told, you know, respect institutions.
But when the courts rule against Democrats, suddenly everything start acting like a you know judiciary like the judiciary is a secret villain organization hidden underneath I don't know a volcano or something. Let me let me get my jokes together today.
But at some point people start noticing the rules only seem sacred when outcomes helps one side and then comes the money conversation which somehow made it even worse. We will spend tens of millions of dollars to make sure that the Republicans do not successfully manipulate voters in Virginia and that voters have all of the information necessary to make a decision around whether they want Donald Trump to rig the midterm elections and halt the ability for the American people to decide who's in the majority or whether the people of Virginia and the people of America should be the ones to decide. $3 million.
Boy, look, if I donated that if I donated that, you know, and and watch the whole thing get nuked in court, I'd be outside headquarters ringing that doorbell like the repo, man.
That's the part nobody, you know, talks about enough. Political organizations burn unbelievable amounts of money trying, you know, to emotionally manipulate voters. and to think in every election is the final battle for civilization itself.
Then when courts ask simple questions like do y'all actually follow procedure, everybody is suddenly starting to hyperventilate and talking about saving democracy after the court said constitutional rules weren't weren't followed is crazy optics.
It's like getting caught cheating on a test and then demanding respect for education. I'm just saying. But this next clip is where this entire thing finally gets broken down clearly. Right.
We ain't going to do no screaming. We ain't going to do no slogans. Just the core issue.
>> From the Virginia State Supreme Court ruling the process to redraw that state's congressional maps is unconstitutional.
So essentially what he's saying is the Supreme Court in Virginia shut down the referendum, the redistricting referendum that uh Virginia Democrats tried to rush through. And the reason they shut it down is because they clearly violated their own state's constitution. It was a very blatant power grab. I sent out an article to my Substack subscribers like April 24th talking about why the Supreme Court should shut this down. I'm going to read you a part of this. So before you even get into who benefits, this comes down to structure. Virginia's Constitution doesn't leave this open-ended. It sets a clear multi-step process designed to slow things down and force transparency so voters aren't making rushed decisions. At a baseline, it requires two separate legislative approvals, an election in between those approvals, at least 90 days before voters can vote, neutral and accurate ballot language along with multiple layers of public notice and explanation.
These aren't technicalities. They're what give the outcome legitimacy. These are constitutional requirements for a constitutional amendment. Four out of five of those things I just listed, they did not do. So, if you want information like this, when I send it out, the link to that's in my profile. Just go to my profile, click that link, drop your email in, and then when I send out updates like this, you'll get them.
You'll also get the morning uh briefing each morning. Now, so let's think about what Democrats just did in Virginia.
They quite literally walked all over their constitution to disenfranchise half their state to lock in federal power in the House of Representatives.
Now, again, Virginia is a purple state.
This would be different if it was like a heavily blue state. Doesn't mean it's 100% right, but like, you know, it's like, okay, they're a blue state. This is a purple state. This was one of the most balanced states in the nation, and Democrats were trying to essentially put it in their category permanently. It was a blatant power grab, but on top of that, they walked all over their own constitution in the pursuit of power while saying they're defending democracy.
Think about that. Walked all over their own constitution in the pursuit of defending democracy and making things fair. Again, this isn't about democracy.
This is about power. And what's just as crazy is they walk all over their constitution and then try to say, "Well, the voters have voted. The voters have spoken. Hey, ignore our Constitution.
Ignore the fact that we walked all over the Constitution in a blatant power grab and we tried to do exactly what the Constitution was designed to stop.
Ignore all that because we want power.
Again, when you hear Democrats talking about defending democracy, no, they are worried about defending democrat political power. It is that simple. The courts should have struck this down. And that's what I said on my article. It was very obvious they violated their own constitution. Anyway, that's all I've got for now. I'll see you guys in the next one. And this is why the story blew up beyond Virginia because once people hear they have they may have violated the constitution of forced through favorable maps the entire conversation it changes now it's not Republicans versus Democrats you know now is do rules still matter when powerful people get desperate and honestly that's why trust in institutions keeps collapsing not because Americans hate each other Americans America always argued Russ collapses when citizens feel like powerful people treat laws like terms and conditions, something you scroll past when inconvenient. And the crazy part, Democrats spend years branding themselves as the guardians of democracy. So when voters watch them bulldoze, you know, procedure, scream at opposition, melt down over courts, and suddenly abandon their own principles, the second the power slips a little, people start noticing that contradiction immediately. That's why these clips resonate the way they do. Not because every viewer suddenly became conservative, you know, but because average Americans are exhausted from being emotionally blackmailed in a political obedience every five minutes at that. At some point, people just want to hear honesty again. Not Brandon, not panic campaigns, not the skies falling speech every election cycle, just honesty.
And right now the honesty is making a lot of people really uncomfortable.
So if you made it to the end of this video, I want you to write interrupted because that's exactly what just happened. Y'all be safe. Go check on somebody today. You can quite literally be saving their life. is
