So, the president is publicly lobbying for a media deal while his own administration decides whether or not to approve it. What could go wrong? And yet, despite all of this, opposition to the Paramount-Warner merger is growing fast. Crucially, a coalition of state attorneys general, which is led by California's Rob Bonta and New York's Letitia James, are actively investigating this merger on antitrust grounds.
